📕Story Background

Susan, a cellist, performs with the orchestra at the National Concert Hall every Saturday night. Known for her professionalism and strict adherence to the orchestra's discipline, she was a dedicated member of the team.

However, today, Susan did not attend the performance as usual. Her body was found in her car, a bullet wound in her chest and a pool of blood staining her tight white dress. In the trunk of her car, police discovered her cello.

Detective Lock inferred that Susan was killed around 8 p.m., just half an hour before the performance was to begin at the National Concert Hall. Based on their investigation, the police identified three suspects: Jane, the landlady who discovered the body; Bond, Susan's colleague and a violinist; and Jason, another colleague who is the orchestra conductor. The police summoned these suspects to provide statements. After hearing their confessions, Detective Lock quickly identified who was lying and found the perpetrator. Who do you think is the murderer?

🔍Known Suspects & Confessions

  1. Jane, the landlady who discovered the body: "Susan planned to attend the concert but not perform because she had a dispute with Bond, her colleague in the orchestra."
  2. Bond, Susan's colleague who excels at playing the violin: "Susan and I had a fight a few days ago, but we made peace. She said she would be on stage tonight."
  3. Jason, Susan's colleague and conductor: "I haven't seen Susan for a week. She liked tonight's music and would probably perform on stage if she were still alive."

----- Previous answer (Shadow in the Alley) -------

The robber is the man eating noodles. After intense running, a person's body reacts in several noticeable ways: panting, blushing, and sweating profusely. Eating hot noodles can increase body temperature, causing blushing and sweating. Additionally, blowing on hot noodles to cool them can help mask rapid breathing. Therefore, the robber is the man who was eating noodles.
