KvK - Kingdom 285 vs Kingdom 344

Hello everyone!

The Year 2023 is very fresh and we start right away with a Kingdom vs Kingdom Event into another GOTWIC Year. Also this KvK is coming with an pretty intresting Mode: the amount of Merit obtained will be increased by 15% and the number of Battle Tokens and Bravery Tokens you obtain will be increased by 15%. So a pretty nice mode for everyone who is looking for getting his Merit or Token for the War Badges from the Token Shop.

Since HOH has settled in K285 in July 2022, the Kingdom flourished under the Lead of the House of Heroes. No KvK has been lost since then and this war should also be added to the victory board.

Lets take a look at the Lords and Ladys of HOH who will take an active part in this battle.

GROMBOLD King of K285 and Duke of HOH: dedicated his life and efforts towards maintaining HOH's prestige, and ensuring the House of Heroes is respected and known in the farthest places of all Kingdoms.

XOICA Knights Commander of HOH: One of the most loyal HOH Member and Knight Commander of HOH. His Combat Strenght is very well known and feared especially in Siege of Winterfell and Alliance Conquest.

For K344 NSI and LVX will enter the battle. NSI in K344 has a already a long story in the History of the game and numerous experienced players. Their biggest challenge will be whether they can join forces with LVX to defeat HOH and K285.

Lets take a look at the key character of this round.

CHARL1E Member of NSI: A brave Earl in the rows of NSI. One of the few who dares to unbubble and go into fights.

The first hours of this war were rather uneventful, the most points where made through gathering and node hitting with zero castles. Possibly also because both sides have the most players in rather European time zones and these were asleep at the beginning of this KvK. Only CHARL1E was caught once without bubble but escaped the rally-attempt as HOH wanted to rally him. So with nothing much happening at the beginning i went to bed and hoped for good in the morning.

When I woke up, I expected to have the smoke of the battlefield in my nose and hear clashing swords in the distance as I prepared for battle. But everything turned out differently than expected. Almost all Great Citys were partly held by Alt-alliances. We met in the great hall of our alliance-discord-server and held a discussion on how to turn the favors on our side. The decision was made that we would take back our castles step by step, starting with the closest castles, ending with the castles on the enemy server.

So we geared up and we sent armies to reinforce 4 Great Citys, without the backup of our Brave Knights Grombold and Xoica, who fought the first hours of the night through to ensure the path of victory.

With our european players waking up slowly we got more and more troops and armys ready to send into battle. So we took over all Great Citys in K285 and held them. In the meanwhile [KhS] H4rleyQuinn from K344, a fearless scout disguised as zero castle started to scout our Great Citys. Unfortunatly this was the only support NSI had from other Alliances in K344 in terms of fighting, LVX stayed bubbled in this KvK.

And then suddenly, the warning bells rang, amid thunderous reverberations out in the distance, smoke trails rising up and the first wounded were taken to the hospitals. The Raven brought a letter that [NSI] CHARL1E had dared to attack Storms End in K285 held by HOH.

Fearlessly and without much hesitation, Knight Commander XOICA stepped up to the plate and started the first rally on CHARL1E, after GROMBOLD caught him with the blockade of his Sapphire Dragon.

Unfortunately, the troops ran directly into a counter. The losses were high and terrible, but they should not have lost their lives in vain. GROMBOLD immediately took revenge and raised an army with him at the forefront willing to give it all and subdue the enemy.

In the heat of battle, pressed to avenge his comrades and Knight Commander XOICA, painful casualties were suffered from misplaced troop formations. Nevertheless, GROMBOLD's army managed to win this battle and put the enemies to flight. After this attack, the enemies fled and took shelter in their homeland. The KvK will last for 4 more hours, and slowly the winning side strengthens their efforts and gaining crucially points for the victory.

The thundering bells should sound one last time, NSI with BELAK0R and CHARL1E tried one last time to stir up the kingdom, but in vain. Seeing HOH's reinforcements looming, they fled back to the protection of their kingdom.

In the end HOH and K285 managed to win this KvK and will get blessed with glory and honor, and also with precious LVL 5 diamond mines. Another glory victory for K285. Capturing the most Great Citys in both Kingdoms and leading the leaderboard of this KvK.
