Welcome Lords and Ladies to the eleventh round of Arena of Honor in our fifth season of this grand event. We are entering the end of the season and many warriors are pushing harder than ever before to secure a place in the top 100. Tonight, the “Lone Wolf” Moshow2 makes his return after an incredible victory in his previous round he plans to keep his momentum going and finally reach his goal of Glory King rank.

Moshow2 wanted to emulate his previous victory, “the Glory City should be our main goal, if I see no presence of a strong spearmen warrior, I will take it myself,” Moshow2 knew he wasn’t strong enough to tank most spearmen warriors but his previous match had given him some false hope. “Once again offensive strongholds are the best option in this season and I expect our main rivals to do the same,” Moshow2 had completed enough matches in season 5 to know how powerful offensive strongholds could be but leaving Altars of the Maiden to their opponents could lead to his downfall.

Radzik44 had been in Moshow2’s team before and knew what to expect, “watching the opponent’s strongholds before making our own could lead to us countering them and I know me and Moshow2 have tried this in the past and it failed but this time could be different,” radzik44 really believed in countering the first line of strongholds and hoped his team agreed.

As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Finally, the teams entered the Arena of Honor and House Stark saw they had a great chance of success, “our opponents are evenly matched with us, we can win this match if we hold the line at the Glory City,” radzik44 wasn’t going to let this opportunity slip form his fingertips. As the strongholds opened it was House Targaryen and House Lannister who built infantry strongholds and the call was made for House Stark to build cavalry strongholds on their first row to counter both. “Watch both of them to see if they change their strongholds to counter our cavalry but I don’t think they will,” Moshow2 was pleasantly surprised that both Houses chose to stay countered instead of changing their first row of strongholds which gave House Stark an advantage heading into the second row of strongholds opening.

House Lannister was led by the gifted Z A R A, “I see House Stark building cavalry strongholds but it doesn’t matter, I’m more interested in the first capture points of the Watch Towers and we can shift into Trading Posts later on,” Z A R A had seen this before and wasn’t going to panic and get baited into falling behind, she has greater plans for the Glory City which was her main goal.

Finally, we have House Targaryen led by the incredible DenGrimm, “this first phase of the match revolves around who get’s the most altars and buffs, make sure we conquer the weaker Houses first and deal with the stronger ones later on,” DenGrimm was solely focussed on gaining a lead for his team and didn’t care about House Stark countering his first row of strongholds. Could this come to bite him and his team in the future let’s find out!

As fifteen minutes passed by it was House Targaryen and House Lannister who captured the first Watch Tower and thus gained a lead over the other Houses, “we have taken the lead by a small margin over House Lannister but watch out for House Stark as they take our Watch Towers in the future,” DenGrimm knew he would lose out to House Stark in the long game but he had planned to swap his strongholds to Trading Posts but he was hesitating on the best moment to do so.

The fight for the altars had begun with House Lannister making quick work of House Greyjoy, “House Greyjoy have already given up, let’s start probing House Stark, we need a foothold in that part of the battlefield,” Sir AZTEC was given the task to find targets and attack while the rest of House Lannister defend their own altars. “Our main goal should be Altars of the Warrior but the send target should be Altars of the Father, we can’t let others take ours, they will be crucial for having enough buffs for the Glory City,” Moshow2 was afraid his opponents would gather enough buffs and snowball a lead into the Glory City fight which would be the end of his Glory King rank goal.

The Dragonpits became the next point of contention, “the next few minutes will decide whether or not we will be fighting for the Glory City or waiting until the Mineshafts,” radzik44 knew the real fight was between themselves and House Lannister with Targaryen, their plan to take the Watch Towers was a success due to their strongholds countering their opponents. “We are losing our Watch Towers, it’s time to change our strongholds to Trading Posts, we can’t miss out on the points from the Altars of the Maiden,” Z A R A switched their strongholds during the fight for the Dragonpits but it meant they had less resources for defending any Dragonpit they captured.

In the end changing their strongholds mid fight cost House Lannister with House Targaryen taking two Dragonpits and House Stark taking one respectively. House Targaryen’s lead grew to 3k with House Stark now in second place, the fight for the Glory City will decide this match.

It was all down to the Glory City, the House that fully captured this objective would undeniably hold of the fate of this match. “Looks like House Lannister is busy licking their wounds, it’s down to us and House Targaryen,” MaC AM stepped up and took charge as he believed he was the strongest rally leader in House Stark. House Stark took the Glory City uncontested but now they would have to defend until the objective was locked. “We know what we have to do, we can use two rallies to destroy them if we time it correctly,” DenGrimm was feeling confident with two Dragonpits under his belt and many altars providing the buffs required but was it enough? The two rallies made their way to the Glory City times perfectly by House Targaryen and crashed against the walls and as the dust settled it was clear who had won the fight for the Glory City. “Incredible job everyone, MaC AM really came up clutch, they don’t have enough time for another rally, we won this round but the next time the Glory City opens again, they will have another shot, let’s prepare for that,” Moshow2 was ecstatic with the outcome his team was now had the lead with a 10k gap between them and House Targaryen.

The final minutes of the match were approaching and House Lannister decided to fight for second place instead of the win, “the Mineshafts are our main goal now, we can catch House Targaryen their lead over us is only 5k,” Z A R A was hoping with the combination of their Trading Posts and the Mineshafts they could overcome the deficit they had. The final fight for the Glory City had arrived but there was only enough time for one rally as House Targaryen was still fighting over Dragonpits and altars simultaneously, “we have one last chance to win this match, if this doesn’t work we will shift to what’s left in the Mineshafts,” DenGrimm knew in his heart his team could still win but he could see the morale in the camp was as low as it could be. The final rally for the Glory City made its way to the objective but the result was inevitable and House Stark remained seated at the throne. “We have won this match easier than expected now let’s punish them for thinking they could beat us,” radzik44 was pleased that the Glory City was under their control but many Mineshafts still had many points and even though they House Stark didn’t need the points he wanted to play towards the crowd and give them something to cheer.

The rest of the match was a fight between House Lannister and House Targaryen for the Mineshafts with House Stark mostly staying out of it except for radzik44 but in the end it was House Targaryen who dominated the Mineshaft phase and secure they second place finish.

The final minute ticked away and House Stark celebrated a glorious win, “this get’s me one step closer to the top 100, I’ve been stuck in the top 200 for some time now, I hope there is enough matches left to catch them,” Moshow2 was content but he was worried he had wasted the early season with unorthodox tactics and not taking the matches seriously enough. “Another win to add to my collection and my tactics worked with the strongholds, I knew it would work this time,” radzik44 finally got his wish to counter strongholds but would these tactics work with better opponents?

On the other hand, House Targaryen were left confused, “I don’t understand how they defeated us so easily in the Glory City, we had won the altar and the Dragonpit fights but it didn’t matter in the end,” DenGrimm knew his team made mistakes but he couldn’t quite point at the moment they happened.

Lords and Ladies, you won’t get this kind of entertainment anywhere else, don’t forget to tell one and all and join us again for the next round of Arena of Honor!
