In a short period of time, Phantom79 became one of the most well-known merit hunters in the game. His level of commitment and courage to invade the kingdoms of the super alliances earned him respect from many houses across Westeros. He is far from being one of the strongest hunters in the merit rankings, which is why every invasion must be studied and calculated down to the smallest detail. Otherwise, a disaster can happen very easily.

His newest mission is to surpass Candy and become the player with the second-highest individual merit in the game, a task that is far from easy and requires an enormous level of activity.
For some reason, Candy has not been as active with his invasions lately. Maybe he is very busy with his personal life, or perhaps he is simply taking a break from hunting. But that does not matter. Phantom has a huge window of opportunity in front of him, and he has no intention of wasting it.
Phantom was ready. Every kingdom saved in his bookmarks was being checked, one by one, in search of a target, but nothing seemed good enough, which left him a little bit frustrated. Finding targets on a Monday is usually terrible; most of the players were online over the weekend and updated their bubbles, but Phantom could not give up. Some of his friends were helping him, and about fifteen minutes later, Aventio miraculously found something.

Aventio was not just another friend; he was also a merit hunter trying to earn his place among the top ranks. As soon as he sent the coordinates, Phantom79 prepared himself and personally traveled to Kingdom 229 to scout the targets and see what he would be dealing with, and the news was not good: both castles were packed with spear troops, which, even with low battle stats, could inflict heavy losses on Phantom's cavalry.
That was the perfect kind of target for Aventio, a powerful infantry hunter who, with Jon Snow, Daeron, and Vorian in his formation, held a major advantage against enemy spear troops. But Aventio could not invade because he lacked the troop count needed for the task.
Fog was beginning to spread across the kingdom and starting to cover the castles, and Phantom79 was nervous… this was a serious challenge. Not only was there a high chance that his army would be torn apart by spear troops, but active members of the R4M alliance could quickly step in, reinforce their unbubbled allies, or even attack Phantom directly.
Phantom had very little room for mistakes. His targets were intimidating, even while wearing rebel gear. He planned to begin the invasion using a 50% army size buff, and if he ran into trouble, he would activate the 75% buff to continue the attacks.
The invasion was about to begin. Phantom took a deep breath, selected his troops, and launched the first attack against the first castle.

The first attack was launched shortly after Phantom repositioned his castle away from the target. His hunts usually begin with the weaker target, allowing him to capture a level 60 lord, secure additional battle buffs, and estimate the cost of the attacks that would follow.
Little Rozy fell immediately after Phantom's lightning-fast attack. Her entire army was wiped out, and not a single one of her troops had enough time to even raise a sword, failing to eliminate any of Phantom's troops.
It was a flawless attack, one that boosted Phantom's confidence and made him believe that every target would be easy to defeat. As soon as his army returned, Phantom took the coordinates of the second target and ordered his troops to destroy everything inside the castle.

Lady Rozy was not a castle built for defense. Without a solid formation, red weapons, or strong advisors, her defensive power was effectively cut in half. Even so, she was still a problem… her wall seemed heavily fortified, and despite her relatively low power, it was concentrated almost entirely in spear troops. It was the perfect combination to inflict significant losses on Phantom's army.
Before attacking Lady Rozy a second time, Phantom realized that he would not have enough troops to complete the mission if his losses continued at the same rate. Because of that, he decided to activate the 75% additional army size buff, increasing his march size to more than 1.6 million troops.

The second attack brought an end to Lady Rozy and a great sense of relief to Phantom. He eliminated the remainder of her troops and captured her lord while suffering fewer than 50 thousand losses. Her spear troops vanished, and her defense weakened the moment she lost her advantage.
Phantom was satisfied. His second target had been defeated and had rewarded him with a large number of merit points. But the real challenge was still ahead. A castle wearing battle gear and using Julien as its lord was never a good sign.
Phantom wanted to give up, but Aventio kept encouraging him to move forward. Phantom mounted his horse, looked toward Rozarius's castle, and then at his army. The real war was about to begin. Rozarius was ready. His wall was intact, and a massive army of nearly ten million men was waiting for the impact. The attack was launched.

The first clash was a true massacre for both sides. Troops were scattered everywhere, and when the first wave ended, both commanders knew their losses had been severe.
Phantom, even with the 75% additional army size buff activated, suffered more than half a million wounded and just under 250 thousand dead. Rozarius also paid a heavy price in the battle, with 813 thousand wounded and more than 1.5 million troops killed.
Luck was on Phantom's side. Rozarius had battle gear, refinements, and badges activated, but his commanders were missing weapons and advisors, which saved Phantom from losing his entire army and his lord. Phantom realized that Rozarius had made a mistake, and even though his own losses were considerably high, he quickly launched the second attack before Rozarius could fix his defense.

The second battle took place immediately afterward, changing the situation on the battlefield. Rozarius's castle was struggling to remain standing, and the army available to defend it had been severely reduced.
Phantom's cavalry had wiped out a large portion of Rozarius's spear troops during the first attack, making the second clash far easier and resulting in far fewer casualties.
The battle was nearing its end. The flames were so intense that they had begun to burn the bodies surrounding the castle and light up the dark skies of Kingdom 229. Phantom advanced toward Rozarius while his men followed behind him. He knew that one more attack would be necessary to finish the job. And so it was done.

The third attack brought the invasion to an end. All three targets had been completely zeroed, and the war against Rozarius brought Phantom many new lessons to pay attention to in the next invasions. That was not an easy war, but it was fun and interesting enough to be worth the scroll spent and the troops lost.

Attacking spear formations is not always easy. Even when they do not have Jaime Lannister in the formation, they remain a major threat to cavalry, putting Phantom at a significant disadvantage in a direct battle. But despite the heavy wounds and considerable losses, the mission was accomplished. And the adventure continues! See you next time.
