Wildling Siege is an event that was first introduced with the update on January 18th. It is an alliance event, and any officer of the alliance can give it a start as they see fit. At first, all alliances have 1 attempt to play the event, and every 14 days, a new attempt is given. Alliances can stack up to 2 attempts, but after that, they will need to play the event, or the 3rd attempt to come will be wasted.

Any alliance that exists for more than 15 days can play this event. But who can actually take part in it?
Even though this event is for all the alliance, there are still some requirements to be met to actually take part in the event.
- First, players of the alliance need to be located in the home kingdom. Any member who resides in another kingdom will not be able to join the Wildling Siege.
- Another requirement is that the players should be inside the alliance for at least 15 days.
We have launched the event, what happens now?
Once the event is initiated, you will see some Wildling Camps popping up on the World Map. They are looking like a different version of the Rebel Groups, with only one difference. Instead of you attacking them, the Wildling Camps start sending NPC attacks on your castle!
The idea is simple; NPC marches from Wildling Camps start hitting the castles of all eligible members of the alliance, and the alliance earns points depending on how many attacks are successfully defended in total. Let’s dive into some details of this process;
- To give everyone some relief, you don’t lose bubble playing this event. BUT KEEP IN MIND; that you will still be attacked by the NPC troops even if you are bubbled. Wildlings will attack all members participating regardless!
- Wildlings will send every member waves of attacks, the maximum number of hits a member can take is 30. Defending all these attacks will grant you the maximum amount of personal points.
- The sum of all members’ personal points will give the final result of the alliance points.
- If you want to get some additional personal points and help other members defend, you can garrison or reinforce your fellow alliance members but please be aware that doing so will cause you to lose your bubble.
- During the event, if a Wildling attack gets a victory against your defenses, it will be considered as a failure. If you get a failed defense, you will no longer be attacked by the NPC troops but you will still be able to garrison/reinforce other members.
- An important detail to focus on; if you ever relocate your castle during the event you will immediately be considered losing a defense so try to stay where you are!
- Small tip; you don’t really need to be online during the event, at least for the lower difficulty levels. Your city will be defending against the attacks whether you are online or not. You might need to be actively there for the latter stages of the event tho, to make sure your defenses are doing fine and also to reinforce your alliance mates when necessary!
Everything sounds good, but it looks costly to rebuild my troops every time we play this event…
Well, you don’t need to worry about that! First of all, you don’t lose any troops during the Wildling Siege; the NPC attacks only result in wounded soldiers. The good thing about this is; all your wounded troops and lost fortifications will be restored automatically for FREE after the event is over! Of course, you can always heal your troops manually during the event, to have a better defense, but those troops will be healed as usual using your own speed-ups and resources.
So, how do I actually get points from this event? What is my reward?
The points you get completely depends on the amount and tiers of Wildling troops you manage to kill. It goes as follows;
- Killing a T1 troop = 1 point
- Killing a T2 troop = 2 points
- Killing a T3 troop = 4 points
- Killing a T4 troop = 8 points
- Killing a T5 troop = 16 points
And you will get rewards depending on your personal score after the event ends.

The above screenshot shows the rewards for the Easy difficulty level, but the rewards get better when your alliance starts playing in the increased difficulty levels. The toughest level of the event is Hell difficulty, and its rewards are as follows;

There are also additional rewards for those who manage to be in top 10 personal rankings inside the alliance. The screenshot below shows the ranking rewards for the Hell difficulty level.

How to reach the other difficulty levels?
Every alliance starts playing the event in the lowest difficulty, which is Easy. There are 5 difficulty levels to be played; Easy - Normal - Hard - Nightmare - Hell. For your alliance to reach the next difficulty level, at least 25 members need to be successful with their defenses. If this number reaches 50 members, then your alliance can skip one difficulty and go for the next one. In other words; if you are playing in Easy difficulty and 50+ members are successful with defending, your alliance can play the Hard level next time the event is on!
Some additional notes to keep an eye on;
- Wildling attacks are not that strong, at least for the first 3 difficulty levels. They attack with 300k-400k army size with T3-T4 troops combined, without having major stats. We are yet to see the last 2 difficulty levels, but their armies will get stronger than this for sure.
- An alliance can start the event anytime as long as they have an attempt, but not during the KvK.
- If you are in another kingdom, say K1, and you decide to relocate to your home kingdom, K2, AFTER the event is initiated, you will not be able to participate! You need to be in the home kingdom BEFORE the event starts!
- Finally, no players are allowed to join or leave the alliance while the Wildling Siege event is up and running.
I hope this guide helps you well with this event and will be useful for you and your alliance to reach higher difficulties. Wishing you all the best in fighting against the Wildlings!
