Sometimes in this game, you make a mistake. Sometimes the enemy makes a mistake. And sometimes you make a mistake, and someone else decides to make sure you remember it.
This is a small story about the third one.
A few weeks ago, I was playing Fiery Mines. Nothing special, just another day of fighting, collecting merits and trying not to lose more troops than necessary. The problem was that I forgot to put a Meet Shield, or at least some T1 troops, before going into the mine. Instead, I had only T4 and T5 troops. Yes. My mistake. I am not the kind of player who looks for excuses. I play, I win, I lose and I move on. I don't spend my time looking for every little mistake in the game or complaining about everything that happens. I like clean play. But that day, an alliance called RI1 noticed my little mistake.
And they noticed it very well. Several players from RI1 started attacking me in the mine.

Again.
And again.
And again.

They attacked me the maximum number of times. Twenty attacks. Twenty. At first, I didn't really care. My army was set to Auto Replenish, so my troops kept coming back. But then I started looking at the reports. Something was not quite right. They were losing T1 troops. I was losing T4 and T5 troops. And they were getting merit points from it.
So basically, I was making a very expensive mistake, and they were enjoying a very cheap way to collect merits. Fair enough. It was my mistake. But I have to admit, after all those attacks, I was getting a little annoyed.
I remember thinking:
"Okay. Enjoy your merits."
And then another thought came to my mind. "I'll find you." I didn't do anything immediately. I didn't jump to their server. I didn't attack them. I just remembered the names and the alliance.

That was enough. Later, I found them on Kingdom 255. Then I found their hives. And after that, I did what every patient player does when he has a little unfinished business. I watched. I didn't want to attack randomly. I also didn't want to become one of those players who jumps to another kingdom just to bully everyone. That's not my style. Normally, I arrive, I hit someone, I have some fun and I go back home. Clean and simple. But this time I had a small appointment to keep. So I waited. And waited. Then, one day, I noticed something interesting. A few of my old "friends" from RI1 were without bubbles. Even some of their alt accounts were sitting there without protection. I didn't think about it for more than one minute. Actually, I probably thought about it for less.
I activated every buff I could. I took Lord 60. I checked the targets one more time. And then...
Jump.
Straight to K255.

I found them. One after another. No long plan. No complicated strategy. Just the moment I had been waiting for. The first one went down.

Then the next. Then another.

And before I even had time to properly enjoy the situation, they were all zeroed.

The whole thing took less than a minute. I looked at my merits. And I smiled. Oh, I enjoyed those merits. Maybe a little too much. But let's be honest. After twenty attacks in Fiery Mines, watching the same players disappear from the map was a pretty satisfying feeling.
Was it a huge war? No.
Was it some legendary battle that will be remembered for years?
Probably not.
It was just a small revenge. But sometimes the small ones are the most enjoyable. After that, I started looking around Kingdom 255. And I noticed something else. There are some serious players there. The kind of players where you look at their castles and think:
"Maybe I don't need to make new enemies today."
I like fighting, but I also know when to leave people alone. I am not a bully. I don't jump to a server, destroy everyone I can find and stay there forever. Usually, I hit my target and go back home. But this time I decided to stay a little longer.
Just in case.
Because now that I was already on K255, I might as well keep my eyes open. Maybe another one of my old "friends" will forget to put a bubble on. And if that happens...
Well, I can't promise anything. After all, I didn't come to K255 looking for trouble.
I just came to collect a small debt.
And apparently, there are still a few people who owe me some merits.
