A SHORT MOMENT WITHOUT BUBBLE

It was a rainy day, and Sarduka was once again on the hunt for new targets. He went through kingdom by kingdom, checking out the castles and looking for an opportunity. Most of the castles were, of course, protected; others simply weren’t interesting enough for him. But then he came across K220, and suddenly his search became more interesting. There he found a castle without a bubble. Jasmine RU from CR2. Sarduka took a closer look at the castle and noticed that Jasmine was even in her combat gear. That made things even more interesting for him, because she was clearly prepared for a possible fight. Sarduka wanted to find out. How ready was she really if someone suddenly showed up in front of her castle and didn’t hesitate?

Before Sarduka launched the attack, he took a moment to prepare. On K163, he picked up a Level 60 Lord to gain the additional bonus to his attack stats. Then he got ready to jump to K220. He had 20 jump scrolls at his disposal for this. However, he didn’t want to appear right next to Jasmine’s castle. That would have been far too obvious and would have given her too much time to react. So Sarduka looked for a spot somewhere in the Riverlands, far away from her castle. Far enough away that his arrival wouldn’t be noticed right away. The march from there would take a while, but even that wasn’t much of a problem for Sarduka. He picked up the pace, and in no time at all, the minutes turned into just a few seconds. Now there was no turning back.

Sarduka selected Jasmine RU’s castle, launched the attack, and assembled his troops. 1.94 million T5 infantry set out for her castle. The march was long, but Sarduka sped it up so that the long march was reduced to just a few seconds. The final seconds ticked away, and then the army struck Jasmine RU’s castle with full force. A total of 13 million troops were stationed on the walls, and Sarduka was eager to see how the battle would turn out. When the battle report finally appeared, the result was quite clear. 10.3 million of Jasmine’s troops were dead, another million ended up in the hospital, and the rest were diverted away from the battlefield by the dragon’s passive ability “Reroute.” A complete success for Sarduka. What was particularly impressive was that his own losses of T5 troops were negligible. For Sarduka, however, this was far from the end.

He sped up his retreat, tended to the few wounded, and healed his troops. Then he relocated his castle and immediately prepared for a second attack. Jasmine RU had survived the first attack, but Sarduka wanted to see what else was possible. Once again, he targeted her castle and sent his troops in. The second attack struck with full force once more, and this time another 11.2 million troops lost their lives. Sarduka had thus inflicted massive damage in just two attacks. But at that very moment, what he had actually been waiting for happened: Jasmine RU’s bubble appeared. It was now clear that there would be no further attacks on Sarduka for the time being.

Sarduka sped up his return march, relocated his castle once more, and waited for the 15-minute rush to expire. While he waited, he continued searching for other targets. He looked over the kingdoms again, searching for another castle where a similar opportunity might arise. But this time, he had no luck. There was no other target that seemed interesting enough to him, and above all, no other castle that offered him such an opportunity. So Sarduka had no choice but to wait and see if a new opportunity would arise later.

In the end, one number stood out above all else from that rainy day: 21.5 million troops had lost their lives in just two attacks. And it all began with a single brief moment when a castle had no bubble. Jasmine RU was even in combat gear and presumably ready for battle, but apparently not prepared for this attack. It took Sarduka only a few seconds to close the distance and send his troops toward the castle. And that’s exactly where a simple lesson can be drawn: You can have millions of troops and be perfectly equipped for battle, but sometimes a brief moment without a bubble is enough for around 21.5 million troops to vanish from the battlefield within a few minutes.
