ARENA OF HONOR | SEASON 6 ROUND 2 | HOUSE TARGARYEN.

Welcome Lords and Ladies to the second round of Arena of Honor in our sixth season of this grand event! Contenders from around Westeros have gathered to challenge each other and become Champions of the Arena. One of these contenders is the “Lone Wolf” Moshow2 who promised to finally reach the Glory King rank in season 5. He started the season with a disappointing third place in the first round and he aims to rectify this. 

Moshow2 knew the mistakes he made in the first round and wasn’t going to make them here today, “the altars are a priority if our strongholds are going to cause damage on the battlefield,” Moshow2 saw how abject strongholds could be without the buffs to back them up. “I think we know by now that offensive strongholds are the only way if you want to win this match or go all in on the Glory City,” Moshow2 didn’t know if his team could guarantee the Glory City so the next best thing would be control of the battlefield with the help of the strongholds.

Adras mann had the same mindset as Moshow2 and believed Trading Posts were a thing of the past, “to back up Moshow2, I also believe offensive strongholds are the best way to win matches especially in season 6, we should concentrate on countering our opponents or capturing more altars and overpowering our opponents,” adras mann secured a second-place finish and was looking to build a consistent string of wins to move up the rankings.

As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Finally, the teams entered the Arena of Honor and House Targaryen saw an opportunity, “I see a couple of strong spearmen warriors but nothing we can’t overcome, House Stark look to be the team we should worry about,” adras mann had quickly identified an issue in his team, they were mostly a cavalry-based team and one spearman warrior strong enough to hold the Glory City would crush his team’s goals. As the strongholds opened five out of six teams built offensive strongholds, only House Lannister built Trading Posts, “House Tyrell have built infantry strongholds while the rest of us have built spearman strongholds, they have the counter but will they be able to match us in power, only time will tell,” Moshow2 wasn’t worried about House Tyrell he knew altar buffs would change the outcome and he was planning to attack House Tyrell’s altar to further weaken them. 

House Lannister was led by the brilliant Sweetlady, “we are the only team that built Trading Posts, all the Altars of the Maiden should be free for us to capture and gain easy points,” Sweetlady wanted to focus more on disrupting her opponents plans while carrying out her own. 

Finally, we have House Stark led by the powerhouse TIQ, “we have an advantage over our opponents, our spearmen warriors are superior to any others on the battlefield and I don’t see any strong infantry warriors, the Glory City should be ours,” TIQ was feeling confident but he wasn’t sure about the strength of House Lannister, which caused some concern.

As fifteen minutes passed it was House Stark that took the lead with House Tyrell in second place, “House Tyrell managed to take the Watch Tower before House Targaryen reached it and also defended it from them, that has slowed down House Targaryen,” TIQ was pleased with the start as House Stark also managed to take two altars from the first altars that opened which gave them an edge on the battlefield. 

The fight for the altars continued and Moshow2 had determined that House Stark were the team he would concentrate on, “we are in fifth place, we need the buffs to take the Watch Towers from House Tyrell and House Lannister, hunt down any Altars of the Warrior before this match runs away from us,” Moshow2 was the tip of the spear as House Targaryen began an onslaught on House Stark but in the end it wasn’t enough to claw their way out of the bottom two. “The altar fights are tougher than we thought, we need to make sure the Dragonpits don’t fall into the hands of House Stark, their lead will become unsurmountable,” adras mann was angry with the position they held as House Tyrell continued to block their way on the Watch Towers. 

The fight for the Dragonpits began and adras mann could see problems in their strategy, “their spearman warriors are too tough for our cavalry warriors, we need more Altars of the Father if we want a chance of beating them,” adras mann looked worried as they still found themselves in fifth place and were losing Dragonpits to House Stark. “Perhaps we have to admit when we have been beaten and try to achieve a second-place finish instead,” Moshow2 seemed defeated, he had seen this before and knew what came after.

In the end Moshow2’s fear came true as House Stark claimed two Dragonpits while House Lannister took the third for themselves which gave House Stark a 3k lead over House Lannister as the Glory City opened its gates. 

The Glory City became available and House Stark flexed their muscles by taking the Glory City first, “we have managed to stabilise and fight our way to third place, do we have enough resources to continue the fight for the Glory City,” adras mann was worried his team would be focusing too much on the Glory City while House Lannister gained more points on the battlefield. The first rally from House Targaryen crashed against the walls as House Stark’s spearmen continue to cause problems. It quickly became clear that House Stark would capture the Glory City but House Targaryen had other plans, “let’s secure second place with the Mineshafts and then focus back on the Glory City, we will give it our all in the next 15 minutes but for now let’s not give House Lannister a bigger gap,” Moshow2 wished for a top two finish and would not accept anything less. 

The Mineshafts phase came and went as House Targaryen and House Lannister shared the Mineshafts while House Stark focused more on holding the Glory City, “House Targaryen are closing the gap between us and them, we might as well go all in for the Glory City at this point,” Sweetlady fought hard but the Trading Posts were no longer keeping up with the Watch Towers and Catapults that House Targaryen now controlled. The gap between the top 3 Houses was less than 2k and the final battle for the Glory City had begun. “House Stark no longer controlled the Dragonpits, our strongholds are too powerful, now is our chance to take the Glory City, give them everything you have,” Moshow2 roar could be heard throughout the battlefield as their first rally easily took control of the Glory City. “We need to defend for a few minutes and the other Houses won’t have enough time to take it back from us,” adras mann ordered his team to forget about altars and Dragonpits and defend the Glory City.

The next few minutes would decide whether or not it was House Targaryen that took the win or House Stark that was holding on for dear life. The first counter rally came in as House Targaryen crushed their opponents with ease and then came a double rally from House Lannister, the entire arena became quiet and they knew the importance of this moment, would be it House Targaryen who came back from a horrible start or House Stark who went all in on the Glory City, let’s find out!

As the dust settled a loud cheer could be heard around the arena as it was House Targaryen who stood strong and claimed the Glory City in the dying minutes of the match, this meant House Stark who had ignored the Mineshafts now found themselves in third place with the loss of the Glory City. 

The final minute ticked away and House Targaryen celebrated an incredible win, “We came back out of the ashes, the strongholds really helped us by taking Dragonpits by themselves, stacking buffs really work,” Moshow2 thought he was going to take another second-place finish, something he was used to in Season 5 but this is Season 6 and everything is up for grabs. “Our team never gave up and that’s why we won, max fame points really helps this early on,” adras mann was pleased with the result but he knew how close he came to having a complete disaster on the battlefield.

On the other hand, House Stark were in disbelief, “we held first place for so long, we even gave up on our altars and Dragonpits to hold the Glory City, that came back to bite us,” TIQ could admit his mistakes but he really thought his spearmen would be too much for everyone else but he was wrong.
