Stealing the Target from a Clown - K310

Ever since I decided to become a merit hunter, the pace of my invasions has become something crazy. I’m launching one attack after another, barely giving myself enough time to analyze and adjust my strategy, leaving plenty of room for mistakes. But for this incursion, I could not afford to waste time thinking, as every passed second could change everything.

I had found a castle without a bubble in Kingdom 310, which is led and prot;ected by the BTa alliance, but I decided not to attack it, and I had three good reasons for that: The first was that he was wearing battle gear, and although I had a clear advantage against his infantry, he had a massive front line that would wipe out thousands of my troops before I could even reach his high tier troops.

On top of that, CrimsoNDawn was online the entire time, and I would obviously attract his attention. The moment I launched the first attack, he would start hunting me. A few hours later, I checked the kingdom again and noticed that someone was opening a rally. That was what changed everything.

As soon as I opened the kingdom again to see if there had been any updates, I noticed that Angelick had opened a rally to attack Cabin. I knew she did not have any F5 commanders and that she might not be strong enough to bring that castle down, but I wondered who was there with her to fill the rally. That was when I noticed that, besides a few allies, HIT was there as well. At that moment, I decided to get involved. But first, I needed to understand the situation and scout Cabin's castle.

I did not know how long Angelick's rally had been active and if she had attacked Cabin yet, but I knew I had to act quickly if I wanted to steal the target from HIT. As soon as I opened Cabin's profile, I noticed that he was still wearing battle gear, and that was a very bad sign. For some reason, Latz Karin is my weak spot, and whenever she is in the enemy formation, my losses are much higher, making every invasion she is involved in much more painful than planned. I quickly sent one of my small castles to gather more information. I knew I could not waste any time, but I wanted to get involved at the right moment. 

From what it looked like, Angelick managed to attack Cabin at least once or maybe twice. That helped me a lot because she had practically torn down all of his fortifications and eliminated the front line of his army.

I wondered what the outcome of the two rallies she had sent had been. But since she seemed to have caused relatively little damage, I believe they must have been very painful for her troops.

As soon as I saw that the situation was in my favor, I quickly jumped to the kingdom. Knowing that things could turn ugly very quickly with CrimsoNDawn online, I relied on speed, using 75% speed-ups both to attack my target and to bring my troops back as quickly as possible.

The first attack took place before Angelick's rally landed, and the result surprised me. Even without the fortifications and the massive front line, Cabin dealt heavy damage to my army, eliminating more than 180 thousand of my troops.

At that moment, I found myself wondering what the outcome would have been if I had attacked a few hours earlier. It certainly would have been much worse than this.

But the final result was positive. More than 5 million troops were eliminated, and Cabin's entire infantry army was wiped out. I now had a clear path to continue the attacks and finish that difficult mission. And knowing that my losses had been high, I healed all the troops in my hospital, jumped to a new position, and launched another quick attack.

Cabin did not have a synergy on his wall, but even so, because he was wearing battle gear, he was still dealing heavy damage to my army. After eliminating half of his army in the first attack, I managed to eliminate half of what was left in the second. More than 2.5 million T4 troops, the vast majority of them spearmen, were eliminated.

I do not know what Angelick was thinking as she watched my attacks, but I am sure she was angry, and so was HIT. That made me very happy.

Because of his actions and his controversial profile, HIT has become perhaps the most hated player in the entire game. His ego is so big that he treats himself as if he were some kind of god. But in reality, he is nobody. He is just another child who thinks he is bigger than the world around him.

I knew that attacking Cabin while HIT was there, trying to claim those merit points, would make him furious. And that was extremely satisfying, even knowing that I was losing a considerable number of my own troops.

I was trying to be as fast as I could because I knew Angelick could cancel the rally and launch solo attacks instead. But I did not want to give them that satisfaction. So I launched a third attack, this time aiming to eliminate the little more than 2 million troops that were left in Cabin's army.

My army returned for the last time, but now bringing Cabin's Lord as our prisoner. As soon as all of my troops returned, I placed them in the shelter and also opened a fake rally, leaving no troops outside.

Obviously, the first thing I did was open the World Chat, and HIT was calling me every name imaginable. Of course, I did not miss the opportunity to mock him, making him even more furious, and that made my night.

Despite the troops I lost and the great danger of having CrimsoNDawn there, this was one of the most satisfying invasions I have ever had. I hope opportunities like this happen again soon.
