ARENA OF HONOR | SEASON 5 ROUND 15 | HOUSE LANNISTER.

Welcome Lords and Ladies to the final round of Arena of Honor in our fifth and best season yet. Many contenders have met their goals but some of our favorites have had a disappointing season. One of those contenders is the “Lone Wolf” Moshow2 who can no longer reach the Glory King rank but he hopes to end the season off with a bang. 

Moshow2 had accepted his fate for this season but he wasn’t going to let his opponents have an easy round, “most of us here didn’t make the cut for Glory King rank but that doesn’t mean we won’t get it next season, let’s show the crowd what we are made of,” Moshow2 still had that fire inside and it was raging to be let loose.

“The way things have been going, most of the teams usually build offensive strongholds, I have only seen Trading Posts work in a few matches because offensive strongholds are just better, let’s not waste our time with Trading Posts for the final match,” Moshow2 didn’t want to go out with a whimper and was determined to prove himself to his fans and most of all to the voice that had kept him up at nights during this season. 

LadyNikki saw the fight in Moshow2 and kept that energy going, “he’s right we need to be prepared for the worst, I don’t want to finish this season with a loss, so let’s make sure we counter our enemy strongholds and not leave it to who ever get’s the most Altars of the Warrior,” LadyNikki had also just missed out on the Glory King rank but she wasn’t going to let that cloud her judgement.

As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Finally, the teams entered the Arena of Honor and House Lannister identified a problem, “House Targaryen are stacked with monsters, perhaps the win is out of the question,” LadyNikki was being pragmatic but she could see her words had no effect on Moshow2, he still had the same look of determination on his face. As the strongholds opened three teams took the initiative and built cavalry strongholds, “House Targaryen and House Stark have also built cavalry strongholds, perhaps we should have changed already but the call wasn’t made,” LadyNikki was looking worried but she didn’t want to show it to her team mates who were still pumped up by the speech of Moshow2. 

House Stark was led by the impressive Alex Niko, “let’s not get bogged down with the altar fights, we need to make sure we are well prepared for the Dragonpits and most importantly of all the Glory City,” Alex Niko was making sure his side were on the same page and didn’t want them throwing their resources all over the battlefield.

Finally, we have House Targaryen led the fierce Kilcol, “our opponents are could become a problem, let’s break their morale before they start stacking buffs,” Kilcol knew his team had the edge but wasn’t too sure about the capabilities of House Lannister and wanted to make sure his team didn’t give up territory that didn’t need to be given.

As fifteen minutes passed by it was House Targaryen that took the lead with House Stark in second place, “everything is going to plan, we just have to make sure the altars are defended and the Watch Towers are ours,” Kilcol could see the snowball that was occurring with his team dominating the fight for the first altar by taking three out of six.

The fight for the altars continued as House Targaryen gained even more ground over House Lannister, “House Targaryen has their eye on us, we should split up into two groups, one that defends our altars and one that takes easier targets around the battlefield,” Moshow2 volunteered to lead the defending group but their defense was no match for House Targaryen’s lethal attack as they lost multiple altars to them. “Our plan is working, we only wait for the Dragonpits to open and have enough buffs to defend multiple areas with ease,” Kilcol had the perfect start and he wasn’t going to waste it, he ordered House Targaryen to push forward instead of defending back at home and it worked.

The Dragonpits were open and it was a two-way fight between House Targaryen and House Lannister, “House Stark has elected to skip the Dragonpits, they must have the seen difference in power and chosen to focus elsewhere,” LadyNikki knew it would be a tough fight against House Targaryen but had hoped House Stark would lend a hand or two but they had shifted into focusing on weaker Houses. “We are no match for the other two Houses but we can take a respectable second place if we play our cards rights, I know we wanted to focus on the Dragonpits but things have changed,” Alex Niko shifted his approach in real time and feasted on House Greyjoy and Baratheon who didn’t give much of a fight in return.

In the end it was House Targaryen who managed to claim two out of three Dragonpits which gave them a clear 5k lead, House Targaryen looked set to take the Glory City and the win. 

The Glory City finally became available and everyone knew which House would take it first, “House Targaryen took it quickly but it’s up to us, this is our last chance to show what we are made of this season,” LadyNikki had to step up if she and her team were going to take control of this match. The first rally from Moshow2 head towards the Glory City, it was a test run to see if his cavalry could withstand the pressure, “well it seems we didn’t even put a dent in their armor, no more using cavalry against House Targaryen, we will wait until the Mineshafts are almost open to give us the best chance of winning,” Moshow2 and House Lannister wanted to show their opponents they had given up after the first rally but they had other plans. The moment had come as the Mineshafts were close to opening and suddenly House Lannister came alive, they quickly send their first rally which almost won them the objective and went to start another, “this is what we were waiting for, the Mineshafts are now open, they have a choice either they focus everything on the Glory City and let us gain points in the Mineshafts or they split their resources which is what we are hoping for,” Moshow2 looked towards the heavens, the whole season rode on this one rally, could House Lannister win the match and save their reputation or would House Targaryen be too much?

In the end House Targaryen’s defense were too much as they kept their focus on the Glory City as expected and crushed all attempts from House Lannister, which now gave them a healthy 20k points lead and Kilcol’s snowball had come into effect.

The match was now winding down as the Mineshafts were left to House Stark and House Lannister to fight over second place, “if we gain enough Mineshafts we can still claim second place, we are only 10k points behind and they are still busy fighting over the Glory City,” Alex Niko was hoping his team had enough time to take enough points from the Mineshafts while House Lannister was busy. “We have to turn to the Mineshafts now, the Glory City is out of reach,” LadyNikki knew her dream of getting the win was over but she wasn’t going to let House Stark snatch second place from her in the dying moments. House Targaryen mostly stayed out of the way as they watched both Houses fight over the scraps, “this is the final match of the season, send everything you have, House Lannister must pay with blood if they want second place,” Alex Niko fired up his team but it wasn’t enough as the gap was too big to make up in time and the final moments of the match was Moshow2 coming to the realisation that the Arena of Honor was the only place he felt alive and he swore he would take his vengeance upon everyone in Season 6. 

The final minutes ticked away and House Lannister knew they were beaten by the better team, “the final match gave me hope, I will come back bigger and better than ever, perhaps being a “Lone Wolf” is not working, perhaps I need a team around me to finally reach my goal. “I was happy to battle with such fine warriors but House Targaryen were too much, next season I will try something new but for today I thank all my fans for their trust in me,” LadyNikki was content with herself but she yearned for something more and she knew the arena was the only place she would find it.

On the other hand, House Targaryen were celebrating a dominating victory, “my snowball tactics worked, they never had a chance, we ended the season well, I hope to see you all again in Season 6 and beyond,” Kilcol had made his mark in the Arena of Honor but he didn’t make the Glory King rank and knew he was worthy of such a rank.
