A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 117 (A Small Distraction…)

Amid an atmosphere surrounded by tension, there were still several days left before the next battle, and for the first time, the plains were beginning to fall into tranquility…
Later, beneath a clear sky and a gentle wind that swept across the green hills, our Lord traveled together with his friends QUEEN and DarkSama toward an event, as a way to relieve stress and obtain rewards.
They were heading toward the great event known as the “Arena of Honor,” where the battlefield was enormous for the capture of the great Castle of Glory, since in that place they did not fight for territories or glory, but rather for the acquisition of points in order to claim victory and obtain rewards.
Our Lord did not want to return late for the next battle, so as soon as he arrived, he would participate in the first round of fights that was about to begin, immediately forming his battle group together with his friends.
Therefore, this time for the event, they would be fighting under the name of the STARK FACTION, alongside their copies, who would be known as the GREYJOY FACTION.

There would also be the TARGARYEN FACTION, together with their copies from the TYRELL FACTION, who clearly appeared to be highly coordinated.

And finally, where another alliance companion who had secretly moved out just like our Lord would also be found, the LANNISTER FACTION, together with their copies from the BARATHEON FACTION.

Within this faction would be “WarShroom.” This Lord was a specialist in the Spearmen formation and was completely dangerous, and both of them fought with a common goal, which was to claim first place in this event.
So, with that concern, our event would begin;
But great would be our Lord’s surprise when the event started and his alliance companion did nothing. Our Lord did not know whether it was because of allies, or perhaps he had another problem, but there was no reaction from him, until moments later when he thought that maybe it was simply the troops moving automatically without a leader in command.
“Wow, it seems I am lucky, fighting against him would have been very difficult…” our Lord thought.

Therefore, our Lord, prepared together with his battle team, quickly set out to capture camps just as the others were doing and rapidly begin their construction.
Everyone was coordinated and quickly started building while dividing themselves into roles, and the troop distribution in terms of construction consisted of Spearmen with a bit of Infantry across all the camps, with the exception of 3 camps that would mainly carry Infantry.

This was done in order to have greater attack strength against the enemies, who were moving almost entirely with Spearmen formations. Since our Lord noticed that none of his allies specialized in Spearmen and therefore could not take the castle and link their statistics with the Spearmen stationed in the camps, this was the best option they could choose.
In the long run, this strategy worked perfectly because they had control over the catapults and, of course, at the right moment, control over the towers as well.

This would help them take control of Castle Glory, which, unfortunately for everyone, had been occupied by the Targaryens, who were the other faction that was extremely well coordinated.
And not only did they have problems with that, but aside from already controlling the City of Glory, they were also taking control of the towers and now even the dragon lairs.

“¡I have to quickly change the camp formations or we will be finished!” our Lord desperately exclaimed, facing the possibility of losing everything they had achieved.
So, he changed the camp constructions to include more Infantry on the front line in order to drive the enemies out, while on a personal level he dedicated himself to defending the dragon lairs so they could maintain better attack strength with the camps from both cities, since they had also completely taken over the city of the Greyjoys.

The risk of such a drastic change is truly like a “Lose or Die” situation, and our Lord took that risk, but this sudden change in the camp formations greatly supported the entire battle, causing an unexpected turn in the fight.
Our Lord, together with the camps under his command, practically held almost complete control over the battlefield, with the dragon lairs under his name, the catapults captured, and the towers nearly fully secured…
Now all that remained was to immediately march toward Castle Glory, where they would launch a rally attack together with all their allies, hoping to defeat it.

And with a surprising attack along with the calculated fire of the catapults, our Lord defeated the enemy that had been occupying Castle Glory, frightened and at the same time nervous that he could lose control before capturing it, shouting…
“Everyone reinforce the castle! This is the last chance!” With that cry, his allies quickly sent troops, because if they lost the castle, this time the enemy would not become overconfident, and it would be difficult to recover it again.

And after surviving several enemy assaults, the great and long-awaited capture would finally be achieved, during which our Lord would take the time to regroup together with his allies with fresh troops, while the castle’s truce gradually dissolved.

With this difficult victory, and only a few minutes remaining before the battle ended, our Lord would be securing victory for his faction, but the fight was still not over, since he would still have to endure, and this time everything depended on his teammates.
Defending the castles of the base itself, the mines, the dragon lairs, and the temples was a hard task that they would have to carry out in order to maintain control and, of course, replenish the troops within Castle Glory.

As a Result;
The Stark Faction would rise victorious, taking control of a great portion of the occupied structures, practically achieving a total victory, although our Lord would have liked to claim ownership over a few more castles in order to obtain additional points.
Our Lord would have liked to stay for another round, but since he and his friends had come secretly for the battles, he had no other choice but to return quickly because the alliance would soon notice his escape, and for that same reason, “WarShromm,” his ally during the battle, left in the middle of the fight.
But our Lord would feel proud of himself, because he would finish in the TOP 1 for eliminations across the entire battlefield, and that is something that happens only on rare occasions.

As Recommendations;
At times, drastic tactics on the battlefield can be both beneficial and harmful. It is dangerous to take such risks, and it has already happened to our Lord several times, occasions in which he also lost the battle, because as the leader, he carries the burden of causing the defeat of his entire battle team.
As a Leader, making decisions is complicated, but you must always have the determination and caution necessary to make the choices that will lead your faction to victory.

That would be all for this week!
Until next time, and take care!
