The victory over FBB was now left behind, new and exciting challenges awaited Neik and his companions in the immediate future.

To reach the fourth round of Siege of Winterfell, a season now on track with three consecutive victories after the initial defeat, saw them approaching the top positions in the event ranking, but to enter and complete their path after the sixth match among the top twelve there were still three matches to play and nothing was decided yet.

Meanwhile, for the members of K345, the day had come to face a new challenge at their doorstep…

Red Mine

The battle for the conquest of the Red Mine was about to begin!

An event that the members faced to rank among the top ten fighters at the end of it to obtain rewards far from insignificant…

The S Cavalry Tokens were a precious reward to obtain, they were a recently introduced novelty and of vital importance to continue improving combat statistics, but to achieve this, the rivals to face were far from simple…

Among the 8 kingdoms that were randomly matched today against K345, there were K204 and K14.

Among the most important fighters among them were certainly 8JONSNOW8 in the first and GeorgeBylis in the second. With rivals of their caliber, Neik would have to face them and anyone else who wanted to get one of the 10 spots in the final ranking.

The HOH member, however, was ready. He knew his rivals and their combat skills and knew he could make a difference in the battle, he was preparing intensely to face a long day of fights, together with the ally Ferrious.

Although the event had to be played individually, they could decide to alternate at the objective, attacks on it were limited and they had to be sparing with attempts.

The weather was adverse, the start in the darkness of night was accompanied by incessant downpours from the heavy clouds in the sky. The setting for the initial phase of the 24-hour battle was far from simple and this could push many fighters to try over the hours.

Start of the Redmine fights

The start of the clash saw the vanguard attempting to conquer the RedMine matheico, but the arrival of Neik who immediately decided to lay siege resulted in a negative outcome for the rival with the HOH member taking command of the objective!

“Well done” exclaimed Ferrious who was alongside the ally in this initial phase.

After a few minutes, however, a formidable rival pounced on him…!

It was one of the most feared opponents, 8JONSNOW8 with his formidable Bleeding-Inf formation who managed to overpower Neik's Weakness-Spear thanks to the counter and numerical superiority.

But GeorgeBylis didn’t hesitate either! The rival’s Female-Cav overwhelmed the new RedMine holder countering his troops.

Neik, realizing his moment had come, without losing a moment attacked the objective again and… The clash between GeorgeBylis and him was won by the attacker, his Spears were superior to the rival’s Cavs who could do nothing but abandon the position!

In the first phase of the battle it clearly became a three-way clash, but none of the fighters could resist their counter’s assault and this created a continuous exchange of ownership of the mine.

All this until the arrival of a new rival…!

DerKobold, until that point silent, struck 8JONSNOW8’s Inf with his Spears, which were surprisingly victorious! The new opponent’s strength was on another level.

“I’ll try to attack him” said Ferrious to the ally who after an attempt found himself defeated. The HOH fighter, confident in her Inf, thought she could challenge the opponent, but…

When the attack landed, once again the strength of the NBe member was clear that, despite being countered by Ferrious, he still emerged victorious from the clash.

“I don’t think we can do much, we’ll try later” said a disheartened Neik who knew he couldn’t defeat the rival. The 24 hours of battle for the RedMine were long, and he was aware that they could try again as hours passed!

A few hours before the end of the event, the HOH member decided to try again, and in command of the RedMine was valiantherve, another NBe fighter who received command of the position once DerKobold secured first place in the ranking.

New try from Neik

Even though the fighter used Female-Cav, a perfect target for Neik’s Weakness-Spear formation, the battle was far from easy…

It took him four attacks to finally gain control! The rival’s absolute skill staged an unprecedented battle, but with troop reduction and repeated attempts, Neik finally succeeded.

The decision to attack such a rival began to take its toll over the minutes.

With such a formidable opponent in command, many fighters stopped paying attention to the mine, which allowed Neik, once he captured the position, to remain in control without major attempts from other rivals.

But surprises were always around the corner…!

A mysterious rival tried to catch the HOH member by surprise!

Daenerys18 and her Inf’s attempts, however, had no effect. Neik kept his guard up and was not overwhelmed.

“The finish line is near,” urged the ally Ferrious, who in the meantime decided to save her strength.

In the most unexpected moment…

The attack of yet another new rival arrived, Scubi!

The rival, with his Bleeding-Inf formation, countered Neik’s Weakness-Spear, but that was not enough, the clash was very close, but the position’s defender came out on top.

“Almost got it, maybe he’ll try again,” said Neik to Ferrious, visibly worried about another attack from the opponent.

This thought was confirmed within minutes!

Fight against Scubi

The second assault, this time, was victorious for Scubi, who faced the rival troops with more ferocity and effort.

Neik, however, had not lost hope, he knew he had his chances and by facing the rival again he could prevail, so when he struck… The attack was victorious!

In the following minutes, it was Scubi’s turn again, who after considering how to face the opponent, tried again… But this time his attempt failed! With morale different due to the nearing goal, Neik’s Spears managed to hold, repelling the rival Inf!

This assault was, in fact, the final one!

Guaranteed at least fourth place, Neik decided, like the ally Ferrious, to withdraw and save their troops in view of the fourth round of Siege of Winterfell. Although not a podium spot, which was claimed by DerKobold as widely expected, followed by TSUI and in third place 8JONSNOW8.

“It was all in all a good clash,” said Neik at the end of the event. The 25 S Cavalry Tokens were highly valuable resources and would undoubtedly be decisive in improving the statistics of their troops!

Another challenge in the lands of Westeros concluded, and now only one goal was in sight: The fourth round of Siege of Winterfell. Who will be their rival? We will find out together!
