The simple victory over WWW in the second round of Siege of Winterfell put HOH’s season back on the right track. A match that was far from contested between two clearly different level alliances. Neik and his K345 allies could focus on preparing themselves as best as possible for future events while waiting for more challenging matches.
In the lands of Westeros, however, challenges came without pause, and a few days before the challenge, a new fearsome battle loomed over their heads, promising the most deserving precious rewards needed to improve their equipment.
Champion City Siege
The CCS battle was a heartfelt challenge where various groups, either created on the spot or from the same kingdom, would fight each other for control of the Champion City. For the most deserving fighters, achieving one of the top three places in the final ranking meant the best rewards, while all others who reached 1.5M eliminations in battle would earn the precious 60 battle diamonds, a result Neik and his allies aimed for in today’s battle.
But to do this meant facing top-tier rivals…
The battlefield saw deployed, among others, two groups that would decide today’s match:
BoB: led by top-level fighters like SkilinEEE, CrimsonMage, and many others, undoubtedly the most numerous group deployed.
BBY: the faction would be led by experienced fighters like Tanalyn and baby, hoping to snatch positions on the final podium.
“I think the best thing for us is to attack the city holder and get the eliminations,” Neik said to his HOH comrades alongside him on the battlefield. The intention was to avoid suffering too many losses among their ranks with the ongoing Siege of Winterfell season.
“I agree, if we joined one of the groups by sending support, we would certainly suffer a large number of losses,” added Ferrious, backing his ally on the cautious strategy that was ultimately decided. However, this meant the two of them had to lead the allied troops to ensure everyone got the Battle Diamonds by reaching the required eliminations, a not insignificant responsibility.
A cold day with a biting wind struck the fighters deployed on the battlefield, waiting for the battle to begin, which was turning minute by minute into a real storm, undoubtedly representing a significant obstacle in tracking the offensive troops who would assault the city and their defenders.

At the start of the match, very quickly the first city holder was SkylinEEE with his Bleeding-Inf formation, who managed to burn his rivals with his incredible speed!
Without hesitation, his BoB comrades immediately sent as many reinforcements as possible to ensure their ally remained firmly in command of the City. Neik and his comrades decided to wait in the initial phase of the fight; the HOH member knew the rival’s strength and his Inf troops, which would counter their Spears, and decided not to take unnecessary losses, waiting to see how the situation evolved.
Assaults on the walls began to arrive as widely expected, the strikes from the various deployed groups seemed to be felt… despite reinforcements arriving nonstop, control of the city after a few minutes seemed destined to change, and indeed…

It fell into the hands of baby from the BBY group!
A series of ruthless assaults destroyed many of SkylinEEE’s defenses, proving that although the groups deployed on the battlefield were not numerous, the members leading the assaults were truly high-level!
It was a totally unexpected outcome for Neik; he didn’t think the city would fall in just under ten minutes.
Afterwards, however…
With only a few supports arriving, it was impossible for baby and his Weakness-Spear formation to firmly hold the city, which after a few minutes fell back into BoB’s hands, but this time under CrimsonMage!
Neik saw in him a target within reach for his combat level and decided to attempt an assault on the walls. When it arrived…
The strike exceeded expectations. Despite both using Weakness-Spear formation and CrimsonMage being a very high-level warrior, the troop class difference along with the numerical superiority achieved by Neik played a key role in the battle!
When the HOH member was about to gather another rally, a swap attempt from BoB arrived… but it failed. Unexpectedly, something didn’t work properly, and the building was intercepted.
Later, however, SkylinEEE set everything right, reclaiming it with a powerful attack!
Time was starting to pass quickly for Neik and his comrades, and to get the much-awaited 60 battle diamonds they had to act. “We’ll attempt an attack on SkylinEEE,” said the HOH member to his comrades. Although not very sure of the outcome, he was backed in the decision.
When the gathered troops struck… the result was surprisingly favorable! Once again, the numerical superiority of the attacker with 7.2M troops against 5.7M in defense played a key role.
But there was once again an unexpected change!

CrimsonMage returned to command of the City!
With a significant advantage for SkylinEEE, BoB members this time performed a swap masterfully to allow their ally to take command and aim for second place.
“We should take advantage while possible,” said Ferrious, predicting another change soon and urging his ally to launch as many rallies as possible to ensure all allies reached the required 1.5M eliminations to get the rewards.
When the HOH member’s assault landed… it was another overwhelming victory for them! The gap between the two members didn’t seem so wide, again thanks to the attacker’s larger number of troops.
There was time for a second attack, which also proved extremely successful, allowing HOH members to reach their goals.
“Great job,” said Ferrious to his ally for his efforts. It was not an easy objective today to succeed against opponents of this level, but with extremely favorable timing in launching attacks, Neik managed the feat.
Meanwhile, however, the city was lost by the BoB member, who began struggling to withstand the relentless incoming attacks.
The battle’s course was far from decided to determine the final podium. SkylinEEE held firm command, but behind, the fight between Tanalyn and CrimsonMage for second place was intense.
After a long phase without a real holder, TSUI from the TwS group took command, thanks to timely reinforcements, managing to repel the first incoming attacks.
Neik, knowing the combat skills of the latter, decided to take advantage to get some extra eliminations by confronting a high-level rival he believed he could defeat.
When the HOH member’s assault landed…

The attack was extremely effective!
The rival’s Female-Cav formation could do nothing against Neik’s Weakness-Spear, which countered the rival and inflicted a large number of eliminations!
“I think for the third Siege of Winterfell match it will be wise to save our forces and resources; we have reached our goals anyway,” Ferrious wisely suggested to his comrades.
The group thus decided simply to watch the match’s progress in the final phase of the sixty minutes until it ended!

The final ranking saw, as widely expected, SkylinEEE in first place, while the fight for second was won by CrimsonMage thanks to a much larger number of allies supporting him until the last second, managing to surpass Tanalyn by just a few minutes, who had to settle for third place.
During the return to K345, the HOH group was extremely satisfied: thanks to a winning strategy applied properly, they minimized losses and achieved their set goals, an excellent result considering the delicate moment their alliance was in.
Another Champion City Siege ended, and now their immediate future had only one goal: win the third Siege of Winterfell match! Will they make it?
