A few days passed since the Champion City Siege battle.

Neik, along with his companions from K345, managed to reach their goal of obtaining sixty battle diamonds with minimal effort thanks to patience and the insight to strike the city at the moment most favorable to them.

The rewards obtained were essential materials in the lands of Westeros for fighters who wanted to excel; improving their equipment was crucial besides skill in combat.

Meanwhile, however, it was time to face a battle far from easy for them.

The Siege of Winterfell season was in full swing, and HOH members were heading to the battlefield to discover who their rival would be. The top12, despite the victory in the previous match against WWW, was still far away, and if Neik and his companions wanted to aim for that position to participate in the PlayOffs, they absolutely had to start a winning streak.

Finally arriving at their destination, they could see on the horizon which army they would face in the next sixty minutes…

It was the mysterious FBB.

Led by powerful fighters like LokiTheFox, Pdhallen, and Gurbe, the group came into this battle with two wins out of two matches played this season. Their strength today brought them to face a very high-level alliance, and if they wanted a positive result, they knew they would have to suffer.

“Today we have a single objective, to win following the strategies developed during the last match,” said the leadership members during the final preparations.

Neik was ready for battle, knowing they were favored, but the tension was high; a defeat would likely mean saying goodbye to their dreams of glory.

The battle was about to begin, and along with it the stormy sky of Westeros seemed unwilling to give respite while the final preparations were being completed for fighters of both factions. The dark winter air had fallen over the battlefield, framed by the rumbles coming from the threatening clouds above their heads. It almost seemed like an omen for the imminent clash.

Start of HOH vs FBB

At the beginning of the battle, as planned, the HOH groups split into two, one heading to Armory and the other to HotSprings, a strategy that worked well against WWW.

During the march, however, a small battalion including Neik himself, to assert their numerical superiority, decided to head from the early stages toward Greyjoy2 Stronghold, in an attempt to separate the rivals as much as possible.

The attempt immediately began to bear fruit.

FBB members were targeted by Neik and his companions, blocking their path to the first two initial objectives of the match. The hits landed by Neik’s Spears were difficult for the rivals to absorb in one-on-one combat.

Meanwhile, both HotSprings and Armory, thanks to HOH members’ efforts, were captured without major problems.

A truly sensational start for the alliance thanks to the leadership’s decision to change the strategy from the early stages so as not to allow rivals to regroup there!

A first phase of high-level clash, FBB absolutely could not keep up with the rivals who showed from the beginning that they were on another level together with overwhelming numerical superiority.

“We have to try to attack them immediately toward their own base so they can’t form large groups.” That was the plan from HOH leadership that they then communicated to their companions.

But there was another novelty they had to pay attention to…

In the advanced areas of the battlefield, another novelty besides the dragons, of sun and ice, which carried loot, was now present: towers targeting the fighters who would venture toward the enemy base, a factor not to underestimate during the siege…

But for fighters like Neik, this was not a big problem, the strength of his Spears was known and he knew they could withstand the blows that would come while advancing through enemy lines, so he launched into the assault!

Enemies trying to group

Pushing hard toward the enemy defense, HOH members found themselves facing a united group near FBB’s base walls, as the rivals were preparing to attack the incoming dragons, which had to be countered!

The clash between the two factions was overwhelming for one side… HOH!

As largely predictable, strength and determination were playing an important role in the fight. Neik’s Spears managed to absorb the blows landed by the rivals while their strikes left their mark.

In the following stages, another large FBB group tried to move toward the Sun Dragon path, but was quickly countered once again by HOH troops, who pushed them back into their base!

“Let’s keep fighting like this!” said Spimmer, encouraging his allies, noticing a drop in the rivals’ motivation.

Dragons

Meanwhile, as the dragons appeared, they were escorted to their base relatively easily by HOH members in large numbers in the area.

The few members who managed to get past Neik’s guard and his companions holding the enemy base were defeated quite easily thanks to attacks from multiple fronts.

Another novelty of the SoW season was the loot left by dragons during the march, giving alliance fighters extra rewards at the end of the match.

When the first two dragons were delivered to the base, HOH troops immediately returned to wait for the next ones.

In the central phase of the match, the course of the battle was clear: HOH’s advantage, with the capture of positions and dragons completely nullifying the rivals’ offensives, was evident, and the mathematical victory of the match was very close. The dominance of the battlefield was clear.

“We are almost there, let’s keep nullifying the few attempts made by FBB who now seem to await the inevitable defeat!” said Neik to his companions near the enemy base. The HOH member was energized and determined to achieve victory as soon as possible, which was now very close.

Not all rivals wanted to give up so easily…!

Fight at enemy base

Meep Meep was one of those who, despite the outcome of the battle being decided, wanted to test himself against opponents like Neik himself. The battle between the two, however, clearly favored the HOH member thanks to the strength of his Spears against the enemy Bows.

However, the outcome of the clash between the two took a very different turn!

With the arrival of reinforcements from FBB members, the attack Neik absorbed was of a different magnitude. The HOH member found himself targeted by many enemy units in just a few moments, and the hits landed on him became so heavy that he wisely decided to retreat!

“You still dealt significant damage,” said Ferrious to his ally, who could not support him due to the distance from which FBB members were attacking.

“The goal was to make them focus on me so as not to allow them to attempt other escapes from the base,” replied Neik, showing a strategy thought out behind his moves this time differently from other moments when he only wanted to face his rivals.

The following minutes were in fact those that decisively decided the match. With a rival trapped in the base and positions in their favor, the mathematical score advantage finally concluded the match!

At the end of the sixty minutes, the victory of the third round went to… HOH!

MVP’s

The best fighters of the match were:

LokiTheFox, among his team he was certainly the one who believed until it was possible, and even when the defeat was clear, the FBB member decided to continue fighting for personal glory, earning him first place in the elimination ranking!

Neik, the most active fighter who earned the MVP title for HOH, was him. The strength of his Spears was once again an important factor for his faction, which was undoubtedly among the most important in the group today.

“We had another easy match given our ranking, which is now no longer so far from the top twelve alliances. The next one, however, will require greater effort, do not miss it!” were the words of HOH leadership reminding their companions how decisive the next round would be for their fate.

On the way to K345, Neik, Ferrious, Ferra, LadyOfThorns, and LexxA had the chance to talk about what worked well in the clash and to discuss among themselves, but the difference in deployed members, 86 against 42 rivals, made it a non-training match for them. “We still have to be satisfied with how we followed the strategies, if everyone learns properly what they need to do on the field, this will be important in much more balanced matches,” concluded Neik, recalling how even these clashes were important.

Thus ended the third round, and HOH’s winning streak continued. Who will be the rival in the fourth round? Will there be another victory, or will fate have something in store for them? We will find out together!
