With the Arena Of Honor commitments behind them, Vlodek and his companions enjoyed a few days of calm.

The battle for Siege of Winterfell was drawing ever closer, but there were still several days to go before it began, so the WxD group could fully recover their energy and prepare themselves as best they could for the great challenge that would see their alliance compete over a period of in six round.

Today, however, the time had come for the group to fight another highly anticipated battle in the lands of Westeros, where the rewards it would guarantee to the most valiant participants were of fundamental importance for improving their equipment.

The challenge would be held in CHAMPION CITY SIEGE

After the long journey to reach the battlefield, the members of WxD, in search of alliances, noticed the AnU group lined up, which included acquaintances such as Lord Pratap and many other members with whom they had joined forces in the past. “Can we join you?” Vlodek asked immediately. 

Forming an alliance with the group would almost certainly guarantee them the achievement of their desired goals without much effort; it was a strategic choice. “Of course, we are always looking for allies to help us maintain control of the city,” replied the AnU leadership, immediately revealing their intentions to occupy the podium in the final rankings, which guaranteed the best rewards for the three most skilled fighters in the match.

However, their plan had several obstacles...

The presence of rivals such as NoS, led by the incredible Wisnia, and the formidable force of GJs members with Biet at their helm, could pose a serious threat.

“It won't be an easy challenge,” NataNN said to his ally.

“No, but I'm sure that the numerical superiority of our allies on the battlefield will allow AnU to achieve its goals and us to obtain the 60 battle diamonds. We just need to send support to the city's owner as quickly as possible,” replied Vlodek.

The strategies and alliances had been defined, and the members of the various factions were just waiting for the battle to begin, when...

Led by the strength of NoS and GJs, they represented another serious threat to AnU, who now saw another fierce rival standing in the way of their plans!

“There will be no change in strategy, we have the numbers on our side,” was the reaction of Lord Pratap, confident in his abilities and a candidate for first place in the match.

“It will be an unprecedented battle,” was the thought of Vlodek, almost intimidated as he saw fierce opponents ready to make life difficult for his allies.

The match was about to begin with the four great factions lined up and the final preparations completed by the combatants. Meanwhile, the snowstorm of a climate that was anything but summer continued to lash out at them, with winter having hit the continent and showing no sign of leaving, bringing increasingly dark and cold days where even keeping their armor on was a challenge.

Ledogi was the first to reach the walls and immediately take possession of the city!

The strength of this ally, renowned throughout the continent, would be a tough target for any rival to face. Vlodek and his companions in AnU immediately rushed to reinforce him by sending troops to their comrade's famous Inf-Bleeding formation.

After a period of apparent calm, the first sieges began to reach the city walls from the three formidable factions lined up as opponents today, and... The blows inflicted were not very effective, except for those of Biet and his GJs comrades! With both fighters preferring to use the Inf-Bleeding formation, no one expected such an ending.

However, this did not pose a serious threat: with only the GJs member emerging triumphant from the battles, the AnU members had plenty of time to quickly replace their lost troops and prepare for other imminent attacks... The attacks from the NoS group led by Wisnia, on the other hand, despite also causing heavy losses, were not as effective as hoped.

“Everything is going as planned, let's keep it up” was the rallying cry of the AnU group leader.

The first phase of combat did not see much effort from the last-minute members of NoS, who were aware that Wisnia's offensive force would not pose a serious threat to the city's defender, as the member's troops, Weakness-Spear, were countered by the city's defender and his Bleeding-Inf, it was a wise move to wait for a more affordable rival to avoid unnecessary losses.

Ledogi thus managed to gain the necessary time to command the city thanks to the good work of his allies in reinforcing it and poor coordination in his rivals' offensives.

Biet and his allies, aware that at any moment there would be a swap in ownership of the castle, were waiting for their rivals to make a mistake. And when the attempt came...

Everything went exactly as planned!

Incredible timing between the abandonment of the walls and the arrival of the allied forces staged a swap that their rivals had no chance of intercepting. AnU was still in command of the city and once again had an ally who was known throughout the seven kingdoms for his strength: Alakazam!

“Let's reinforce him immediately,” exclaimed the group's leadership, who wanted to secure second place in the match for their comrade, seeing the attacks coming towards the walls. When the sieges began...

The reinforcements inside the city under Alakazam's leadership were already numerous, and thanks to them, he managed to repel the early offensives launched in an attempt to intercept the swap.

This time, however, Biet's attack were even more effective, showing a slight difference between the strength of the first and second owners. Vlodek and his companions would have their work cut out for them to keep him in command of the walls.

Noticing the strength of their offensives, which resulted in a large number of eliminations, both Wisnia and Biet attacked the defenses relentlessly, but the obvious numerical superiority of AnU's group was playing a crucial role in the outcome of the battle.

In an attempt to counter this, the various factions seemed to wait for each other's advance to try to help each other get as many kills as possible and ultimately capture the city if everything went as hoped.

When they reached their destination... to their surprise, the city was abandoned, leaving it in the clutches of Biet of GJs!

Vlodek watched the scene in disbelief, not understanding exactly what had happened when, a few moments later...

A ruthless attack by Alakazam knocked out GJs's defenses, which were not adequately reinforced by his companions, who did not expect their leader to be captured. AnU's plan was simple: with only a few minutes left on Alakazam's throne, they wanted to pass command to Lord Pratap, the third-ranked candidate in the match, and seized this opportunity to avoid the risk of interception by NoS or GJs, rivals who were going to counter the new owner's Weakness-Spear.

“It will be difficult to maintain the conquest now, but we only need a few minutes, one last effort,” was what AnU's leadership asked for to support Lord Pratap's defenses, which would be relentlessly targeted in an attempt to get as many eliminations as possible and with the hope of snatching at least third place. 

Just as expected, attacks began to come one after another from the three opposing factions. Each of them now put great pressure on the defense, due to the rapid decline in reinforcements and the number of allies who began to leave the battlefield after achieving their goals. However, Vlodek and his companions who were still present tried to contribute to the conquest of third place for the AnU member. 

With every passing second, the goal of conquering the entire podium of the match seemed more and more achievable, but the attacks coming from Biet and Wisnia were leaving their mark... Among the last, the rally led by Wisnia and his Weakness-Spear formation, despite being tied by Lord Pratap's, managed to inflict incredible losses on the defender... It even ended up snatching possession of the city from his hands!

However, the twist was only a few seconds of satisfaction for the members of NoS, who saw AnU's forces strike down their comrade just seconds before the conquest. The attacker's strength was impossible to contain and ended up capturing possession of the city. This effectively put an end to a fiercely contested match, but with such a rival in command of the city, it made any attempt to break into the podium that would have been achieved by the various alliances impossible.

At the end of the sixty-minute battle, the final ranking for possession of the city saw the podium occupied by AnU, just as they had planned! In first place was Lord Pratap, followed by Alakazam, and completing the top three was Ledogi!

“Thank you all for your support, we couldn't have done it without your troops,” were the final words of the leadership that had dominated the match against high-caliber rivals, acknowledging the importance of their companions who had supported them in their endeavor before returning to their own kingdoms.

“All in all, we got what we came here for,” Vlodek said to his companions as they walked. The 60 battle diamonds were a valuable reward that would allow them to upgrade their equipment and improve their performance on the battlefield. Deciding to work alongside rivals of this caliber instead of facing them head-on was a wise decision on their part.

“We didn't waste our energy unnecessarily. The battles ahead are now on the horizon, and it was the right thing to do this time,” added NataNNN who agreed with the group's collective thinking.

Thus ended another day of adventures in Westeros with the end of Champion City Siege. Siege of Winterfell are just around the corner, and together with sporadic events, these will be the adventures that the members of Westeros will face in the near future.
