As Spring it's setting its roots into Westeros, [N0X] is aiming for a very high placement in this season of Siege of Winterfell and hopefully end up on top12 after 6 rounds and qualify to the Ultimate Conquest. After a very well fought battle on the first round against [TIS] that ended up with a win it was time for [N0X] to prepare for the 2nd round in hopes to continue the winning streak. Since their strategy worked on the first round, they decided to not do major changes and instead just polish their strategy and work on improving their attendance instead. With just 2 days between the rounds time flew quickly and in before they noticed it was already time for the alliance to be registered and hope the gods of matchmaking will be in their favor one more time.

Once the matchmaking got completed, [N0X] found out whom their opponent it's going to be, and it was going to be [III]. As they didn't fight them before, [N0X] leadership didn't had much information about them so they decided to ask around and find out more about them. Beside asking around there were some clues that were contradictory though, like them getting 3rd place in Season 18 A league in AC UC but only having 64 people on battlefield on the first match of this SoW season. As always [N0X] ain't underestimating anyone though so they decided to treat [III] as a strong opponent and once the strategy was tailored for the round, everyone head towards the Siege of Winterfell battlefield. They arrived at the battlefield just in time, as the gates opened and both the alliances entered the battlefield, with [N0X] heading south towards the Greyjoy's base.

When the battle started, [N0X] was once again fighting at numbers disadvantage, but on the good side they didn't underestimate [III] based on their first-round attendance, so they only had 5 peoples less on the battlefield. Everyone rushed to their assigned base and there were so many warriors on the battlefield each leading millions of troops that their march made the soil tremble. Shado and LadyKnight both headed towards Hot Springs once again and when they arrived there together with the rest of [N0X] forces dispatched there, they couldn't believe their eyes how many [III] fighters were ready to challenge them.

One of the bloodiest fights emerged between the 2 alliances at the Hot Springs, with hundreds of millions of troops clashing at each other turning the water red. Due to lower forces displaced there, [N0X] were losing the springs war but on the other hand they were winning on the armory side so the leadership decided to dispatch a few more warriors to help the springs side. Even with the reinforcements, the [N0X] was still outnumbered there but they were fighting way better and they managed to hold their grounds at springs and not let [III] get down to the strongholds.

When the dragons spawned, [N0X] was already leading in points and despite the Hot Springs dragon going towards [III] base the one on the armory side was going towards [N0X] base. The first few sets of dragons were split equally but due to [N0X] fighting incredibly well, they were having more bases, so their points generation was bigger so the gap in points was getting higher. There were so many troops falling on both sides though that the medics were barely managing to heal them completely before them being sent back on the battlefield.

As they were passing half of battle, [N0X] were still having a decent points advantage, and the dragons were still split equally but [III] were managing to turn the points generation in their favor. Then, with 20 minutes left from the fight, for unknown reasons, probably some of the [N0X] warriors were playing with their monitors turned off, [III] managed to catch in points and even worse, they managed to fully grab 2 sets of dragons one after each other and that set them up in quite a lead.

Seeing the victory slipping thru their hands, Belore II took out the angry german playing CS out of him and that woke up the sleepyheads and [N0X] started recovering the points disadvantage.

After 50 minutes to continuous fighting, it went down to the last 2 dragons, if [N0X] would manage to secure them both, they would've won. With 1 secured and one about to spawn the battle was keeping everyone on their toes. Unfortunately, [III] also noticed that those dragons are going to be decisive and decided to send an insanely big force on the spawning point. Despite fighting valiantly for the control of that dragon, ultimately, [N0X] didn't had enough people there and since the dragon flies faster the more people are around him, the [N0X] reinforcements didn't arrive in time to turn him around.

The round ended with a crushing defeat for [N0X], not by score but by the fact they led for most of the round and then they somehow let the ball slip thru their hands. Losing the early rounds in SoW is never a good sign, but there's still 4 rounds left to play, and they have to dust off and win them all if they want a chance to qualify to the UC. Will they be able to quality or they'll end up a bit short as in the previous season? the upcoming rounds will decide. See you all on the battlefield!
