March is taking over in Westeros, Winter has already packed its bags to make room for Spring, the trees are starting to bloom, and the grass is getting green once again and for [N0X]Shado is time for the 5th round of the Arena of Honor's Season 5. After losing his team after the 3rd round and having a disastrous Round 4 in solo queue, he has to find a way to start winning again to save what's left to save on this season. Without a team in sight, he prepared for another round of solo queue but then on the day of the fight, his luck changed: someone in [N0X] was looking for 1 more member for their team so Shado took the opportunity and joined HotepRa's team and as the sun was setting, Shado took his army, commanders and dragons and head towards the Arena of Honor battlefield.

Once he arrived there, he met with his new team formed of [N0X]HotepRa, [HOH]zsocee, [VMD]Wind5, [VMD]samantha, [N0X]FatCom, [HD!]Effe, [ExF]NEELANNA, [HOH]Lord Adaam and [BDR]S T E L L A. Since everyone was present when Shado arrived they all signed the pre-registration papers, HotepRa registered the team and then everyone waited for the Old Gods to complete the matchmaking.

It only took a few minutes for the matchmaking to be completed and once the battlefield doors opened everyone stepped inside to see which of the houses will pick them for this round. Shado's team was picked by Daenerys Targaryen to fight for her house and together they headed thru the southern desert towards the south-west forests where the House Targaryen's clan castle was located. As they arrived there, everyone started doing some last minute preparations and Shado decided to also send a few spies to the other houses to see what they up to.

Unfortunately, the spy that was sent to House Lannister got caught by the guards when trying to sneak into the clan castle and got swiftly assassinated, so Shado had to send an emergency backup there.

Both the Lannister's and the Starks were having very strong players in their roster, so the fight was announcing to be a very disputed one. The time for strategies was over however as the horn announcing the start of the battle was heard on the battlefield and the strongholds dropped their bubble and opened for attacks.

After the occupation time ended, the construction started and the team decided to go once again with military camps and after taking a look on the battlefield, the Starks and Lannister's decided to do the same. The construction finished just in time as the altars started opening and even from the first set of altars the round was announcing to be a bloody one, solos were being exchanged between all the sides and altars were changing the ownership before they could be reinforced.

Once the team stepped up with reinforcements it was easier for them to hold altars and they managed to secure quite a few of the early ones. Beside reinforcing his teammates, Shado also tried to do some solos without scouting, but that was a very bad decision as most of them ended up with crushing defeats for him.

With altars secured mostly by rallies, it was time for the team to head their attention towards the middle of the battlefield as City of Glory, the most important building on the battlefield and everyone's chance at winning the round was about to open.

Once the city opened Starks and Lannister's sent their strongest warriors to solo each other out, but this time Daenerys decided to not participate into this mass slaughter and instead, she sent Wind5 to start directly with a rally.

The strategy worked flawlessly and while the other 2 houses were busy soloing each other's out, Wind5 rally mopped the floor with them and now it was time for the team to setup their defenses. The Starks and Lannister's quickly sent their strongest warriors to organize rallies and in just a few minutes there were 5 rallies heading towards the city. First rally to hit was pilot123's that got deflected with full force by Wind5, but quickly after the other rallies started hitting and chipping away bit by bit the House Targaryen's forces inside the city.

By the time the 5th rally hit there were not enough forces left to defend the city and the Targaryen's lost'it with just 30 seconds left to fully occupy 'it. Despite the setback, they went back into the offensive and it didn't take long for them to get the city again and once again they were setting their defenses up in preparation for the upcoming rallies.

After tens of minutes of bloody battles, with reinforcements being on edge and the city dropping to only a few millions the team managed to secure the City of Glory with just a few minutes left from the round and that basically was the point where they won the round.

Despite being a very disputed round, the first round Shado played with his new team ended up great, they managed to secure the City of Glory and with it a well-deserved win and 42 fame points that helped Shado get to the King rank. Will he be able to climb higher this season or it's too late for major rank changes? We'll have to wait and see. See you on the battlefield!
