A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 106 (The Battles Continue)

In the distant, tranquil moorland, stretching as far as the eye could see, covered in tall grasses that swayed in the gentle breeze that reached the castles of a kingdom, our Lord rested peacefully…
He already had his plans for the coming days in mind. Everything was ready; for the first time, he had arranged everything on time. His armor rested on his wooden table, where everything was prepared for the next day's march.
The event he was preparing for was the "Arena of Honor." He had already arranged to meet his friends to participate. They were playing together again after some time and had been doing brilliantly in recent battles.
So, upon arriving at the event, he would meet them, and they would quickly form a team for the battle…
“Well, let’s hope we get a good team this time, because the battle gets complicated when we don’t get reinforcements…” DarkSama exclaimed.
“I’ll try to see what our best options are based on their track record. That says something about each player, or sometimes not,” our Lord replied, with a doubtful expression.

They would quickly prepare for battle and position themselves for the fight, having formed a relatively fast group and trying not to drastically alter their combat ratings to maintain stable team cohesion.
And so our large group would be fighting for the Targaryen faction, with their clone group forming the faction.

On the other hand, there would also be the Lannister faction with its copies, which would be the Baratheon faction.

And finally, where we will find an old acquaintance of our Lord, is the Stark Faction with its respective copy, the Greyjoy Faction.

In this last faction, we find an ally of our lord named Jingle Bell. If we recall past stories, he shared the previous kingdom with him and his friends. He is a formidable lancer, and we will see if he will side with our lord or with his own faction and its forces.
Although for our lord, it is better that he act independently, as our lord wants to achieve victory at all costs.
However, this would worry him because the Stark faction would be teeming with several dangerous lancers, as they were not weak, and Queen would not be at her best in battle.

And so the battle would begin, with the allied faction initially targeting infantry camps with a small cavalry contingent.
This was because our Lord followed his own established strategy: to capture the first towers and secure battle support and troops from these camps during attacks.
In addition to this, he planned to use the other buildings they would soon capture and construct as camps to exchange points and maintain a solid production base.

The map looked promising with a standard starting strategy: the Tyrell faction's castle had already been taken, and Queen would take the lead in capturing it, while Darksama, with a second line, would defend their own castle.
Meanwhile, our Lord would defend against attacks from the other Lords and wait for the opportunity to take Glory City.

However, the Queen and a Lord of the faction were constantly besieged in their structures. Withdrawing troops to provide support was too dangerous, so once this command was lost, the only option was to remain stationary.
In other words, the faction castles, if lost this time, would also mean the loss of everything built, making it difficult to send troops back to rebuild.

The situation initially went perfectly; nothing was amiss despite having a Lord who wasn't supporting the team.
The capture of the castles was proceeding flawlessly, the only problem being that the Starks were seizing the fortifications and catapults to secure Glory City. Our Lord viewed this with concern and would have to redefine the fortifications to counter the enemy camps.

Until the city of glory was cleared, and just as our Lord had anticipated, it was taken by the Stark faction, a very powerful force. Being strong spearmen, our Lord could not drive them out.
In a moment of desperation, he switched sides with the Queen to try to take the castle, but this would cost him an even greater mistake: losing Castle Tyrell. Now the situation was truly out of control.
Our Lord tried to remain calm and hope that things would improve, so he encouraged his friends and companions to keep fighting.

After losing everything, there was some surprising progress regarding the castles. The Greyjoy faction was defeated by our Lord's faction in the capture of the castle.
They then proceeded to retake the Tyrell faction's castle, which would earn them their first medal, but our Lord wanted the main one.
"We won't make it. We had to take the castle first..." DarkSama told his companions.
And with a Queen rally, several of his companions would attempt to enter, clinging to a last hope.

The decisive blow was decisive, and little by little, our Lord would also seize the catapults and several castles from the SKTARK. With the capture of Glory City, everything was now in his favor.
With a desperate cry of "Reinforce!" from the leaders, they quickly secured their position to defend against the potential attacks that would come now that Glory City had been taken from them.
But the enemies wouldn't have time to organize, so the second medal, for holding Glory Castle, went to our Lord's faction, and the final victory was secured in the last minute.

As a result;
Our Lord's faction would secure a last-minute victory. This is also considered a strategic move by other Lords, since at the last moment, if they fail to recapture the castle, there will be no point in doing so because the game will be over.
The factions would be completely defeated, with our Lord and his colleague Jingle arriving on good terms because there was no aggression from either side. Furthermore, the spearman from our Lord's HHH alliance would deliver the victory.

As a recommendation:
It's always good to fight until the last minute, especially now that castles can be taken more easily. Building structures is a great way to support your troops' attacks.
It's wise to divide the responsibility among your comrades, assigning each castle to ensure strong support during the attack. Also, consider changing castles if a lord needs to move to a different location that another lord can't reach.

That's all for today!
Until next time!
