Welcome Lords and Ladies to the fifth round of Arena of Honor in our fifth season, tonight we have our returning star Moshow2 making an appearance. He is still jubilant after his first win of the season in round 4 and wishes to continue his journey to the top 100. Can Moshow2 continue his winning ways or will he find out that last round was a fluke?

Moshow2 wished to replicate his fourth-round victory, “we went all in with our Trading Post strategy, we got enough points to overcome the loss of the Glory City,” Moshow2 knew the importance of Altars of the Maiden in this strategy but believed capturing enough altars was possible once again.

DROOMS wasn’t against Moshow2’s plan but wanted to bring another road to victory, “I believe the Dragonpits are a lot more important than people give them credit for, we should focus on them,” DROOMS really liked having three extra buffs from the Dragonpits to complement their altar buffs.

As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Finally, the teams entered the arena and House Lannister seemed worried, “House Targaryen have the strongest warrior on the battlefield, the Trading Post strategy seems like a good bet,” DROOMS was worried if they got dragged into fighting for Watch Towers against House Targaryen they could fall further down the rankings. As the strongholds opened it was House Targaryen and House Stark who built offensive strongholds with the other Houses building a mixture of the two. “Let’s not forget about the Dragonpits, they will give us three buffs and one of them could benefit our Trading Post strategy,” DROOMS really hammered home the benefit of Dragonpits but he could see the start of some pushback from his team mates.

House Stark was led by the powerhouse Lord Lycanus, “House Targaryen could become a problem, they have also built Infantry strongholds and the Glory City could be out of reach with JustKebab being on House Targaryen,” Lord Lycanus immediately picked out the biggest threat on House Targaryen but he knew it would take multiple Houses to kick out JustKebab out of the Glory City.

Finally, we have House Targaryen led by the terrifying JustKebab, “it doesn’t matter what we do, we will have the Glory City, there are no spearmen warriors to counter me and our strongholds will overcome those of House Stark,” JustKebab believed his team had already won but if there is one way a dominant team can lose it having enough hubris.

As the first fifteen minutes passed by, it was House Stark that held the lead by taking the Watch Tower on their side with House Tyrell taking another by beating House Targaryen to the Watch Tower, “we didn’t get the first capture points, House Tyrell got there first,” JustKebab wasn’t too worried, his team was mainly focused on the Glory City, everything else was just a bonus.

Most of the altars were now available to capture but both House Baratheon and House Greyjoy seemed to ignore them, “House Greyjoy is next to us and they aren’t attacking their own altars, let’s help them out and take some for ourselves,” Moshow2 sent his team to attack altars around their immediate area but he wanted to keep House Targaryen busy but his attacks failed in the end. “The Dragonpits are available soon, this is the time to focus our energy, they give three buffs each and could give us the buff we really need to win this match,” DROOMS was once again showing his obsession for the Dragonpits, could this cause the downfall of House Lannister?

The Dragonpits finally became accessible and the fights were their bloodiest yet, “Dragonpits could be the difference maker when it comes to fighting for the Glory City, we need to make sure House Targaryen isn’t able to capture even one of them,” Lord Lycanus made sure to reset any Dragonpit House Targaryen set their sights on but even he was struggling to keep up with the might of House Targaryen. “We have two Dragonpits but the other Houses really want to stop us, they have stopped attacking our altars to focus on the Dragonpits,” JustKebab could see a pattern emerging even though their team were in third place, he could clearly see the other Houses saw them as the biggest threat. “We need to take atleast one Dragonpit, they are crucial for us,” DROOMS wouldn’t let the Dragonpits go and Moshow2 was starting to get visibly annoyed. “We are in second place to House Stark, if we keep focusing on Dragonpits, our altar strategy may come into jeopardy,” Moshow2 knew the Glory City was about to open and that House Targaryen were likely to take it and push House Lannister into third place unless they changed their focus.

While the fight for the Dragonpits raged on the Glory City became available, “I will begin a rally, I know if House Targaryen take the Glory City it will be difficult but let’s see what happens, perhaps the Dragonpits will become a much-needed distraction,” Skynet knew House Lannister would only get one chance at the Glory City unless other Houses were able to dispatch House Targaryen once they arrive. As predicted it was House Targaryen that captured the Glory City first with some solo attacks coming from House Stark but being unsuccessful. “Our rally is ready to go, hopefully House Stark can finish the job or we can call the fight for the Glory City over,” Skynet launched his rally, his spearmen countered JustKebab but would it be enough to beat the might of House Targaryen?

“Here they come, only House Lannister and House Stark have a rally launched, we need to be quick with the reinforcements but in the end it wont matter, we are much stronger than them,” JustKebab knew if his team could defend against both rallies the Glory City would be theirs. In the end it was indeed House Targaryen that fully captured the Glory City as both rallies from House Lannister and House Stark were crushed but the Glory City kept the luring eyes of House Targaryen away from the Dragonpits and House Stark were able to capture two while House Lannister captured one. House Targaryen now has a commanding lead but the fight for second place is not over with House Stark being 5k ahead of House Lannister.

The fight for the Glory City was truly over as most Houses knew they couldn’t defeat JustKebab, “the Mineshafts are being dominated by House Targaryen, we should focus on the Dragonpits, perhaps we can overtake House Stark,” DROOMS tunnel vision on the Draginpits was one of the reasons for House Lannisters uninspiring performance with the Mineshafts. “We can take both House Stark Dragonpits, we are only 5k behind them, the combination of altars and the Dragonpits should be enough to take second place,” DROOMS was calling for reinforcements and House Lannister had no choice but to follow his instructions.

House Lannister was being pushed into fighting for all three Dragonpits, “this is our final chance to overtake House Stark, the gap looks big but we still have a chance,” DROOMS was now the loudest voice in House Lannister and it was showing but if House Lannister was able to take all three Dragonpits and take most of House Starks altars, House Lannister could secure second place. It came all down to the final 5 minutes, could House Lannister execute DROOMS plan and take House Stark down or did the Mineshafts cost House Lannister dearly?

“They want our Dragonpits, they think they have a chance to take second place with so little time left,” Lord Lycanus began his solo attack rampage against the Dragonpits of House Lannister and with the help of House Targaryen they were able to take back one of the Dragonpits from House Lannister and this would be the killing blow to House Lannisters fight for second place. Heads fell down as the Dragonpit changed hands and morale broke as House Lannister started to lose altars around the battlefield. In the end House Stark defended their position brilliantly but it was House Lannister that gave themselves too much to do with so little time left.

The final minute ticked away and House Lannister couldn’t leave the arena fast enough, “we focused too much on the Dragonpits, we needed more Mineshafts to overcome House Stark, we gave too many points to House Stark for free,” Moshow2 knew the importance of Mineshafts but was unable to convince his team to move away from the Dragonpits when the time came. “We were crushed in the final 5 minutes, we lost a lot of altars, perhaps we did focus a bit too hard on the Dragonpits,” DROOMS was finally seeing the reality of dismissing everything else for the Dragonpits, it was a losing game from the beginning.

On the other hand, House Targaryen celebrated a well-deserved win, “once we took the Glory City, it was easy going from there on out, we can do better with the start but that will come with time,” JustKebab praised his team for their constant focus on the battlefield and looked forward to the next round.

Lords and Ladies, you won’t get this kind of entertainment anywhere else, don’t forget to tell one and all and join us again for the next round of Arena of Honor!
