The second round of eliminations of Ultimate Conquest was about to begin, an event very similar to Alliance Conquest, but with one key difference: instead of being played in a league format, everything here was decided through direct knockouts. Each round was do or die, and any mistake could mean elimination. Killer Marta arrived at this second round with her clan, LSK, after securing a relatively easy victory in the previous round—one that had left them with very positive feelings and a high level of confidence.
Killer Marta’s objective had remained unchanged from the very moment the event was announced: to win every round, reach the final, and conquer it. However, she knew perfectly well that this goal could only be achieved by taking things step by step, round by round, without getting ahead of events. Each victory required a significant use of speedups and other valuable resources, so management was key. That was why Killer Marta was fully aware of the importance of this second round, as winning it meant a major strategic benefit: by doing so, they would automatically skip the third round and advance directly to the fourth, significantly reducing resource consumption and allowing them to arrive stronger at the decisive stages.
In this round, the enemy to beat was HO$, a clan from kingdom K50. Killer Marta had done her homework and thoroughly scouted the opponent. She knew that HO$ had an extremely strong infantry leader, something that gave her a certain amount of respect and even a bit of fear, since her specialty was spear and infantry was its natural counter. Even so, she had also discovered an important weakness: HO$ did not play very well as a team. Many of their attacks were individual and lacked solid coordination. Killer Marta was certain that this would be the point to exploit, and she decided to bet on highly organized team play, reinforcing quickly and punishing any mistake made by the opponent. She made this clear to all of LSK before the battle began.
With nerves on edge, the match began. Both Killer Marta and her teammates quickly rushed for the first capture. She knew perfectly well that those early points could be decisive if the match ended up being very close. The tension was at its peak, but the initial plan worked: Killer Marta’s team managed to secure three locations in the opening moments of the event. This greatly lifted the group’s spirits, and without wasting time they began reinforcing them to consolidate their advantage.

Just as Killer Marta had anticipated, HO$’s infantry leader began using solo attacks and speedups to apply pressure. Thanks to this, he managed to take control of the Warrior Tower. However, Killer Marta knew that this strength was also a weakness: that same player left the tower shortly afterward, creating a window of opportunity that LSK did not miss. With a quick and coordinated response, they managed to retake the Warrior Tower, striking back and reaffirming their dominance.

The event progressed and locations opened one after another. Exchanges of blows were constant, and the tension did not subside. Both Killer Marta and her team were somewhat nervous, aware that any mistake could change the course of the match. Even so, she knew they had the potential to win this round. They just needed to focus a bit more and reinforce more quickly, preventing HO$ from retaking locations through solo attacks.
As the minutes passed, it seemed that Killer Marta and her team were starting to lose ground. She did not like that situation at all. That was when she decided to raise her voice and wake everyone up with a shout of authority. It was time to organize, to set nerves aside, and to start clearly prioritizing locations. The first order was clear: she wanted the CR location secured, and for that she asked the strongest cavalry in the clan to move there. That way, they could stop worrying about that position, since the enemy was composed mainly of infantry.

Once CR was secured and the reinforcements were firmly in place, Killer Marta continued with her plan. They began chaining rallies, well-calculated solo attacks, and constant pressure on the opponent. Little by little, the comeback became evident. First one port fell, then the second, and finally the enemy base. The annihilation by LSK was overwhelming. Killer Marta’s words had taken effect: the clan had awakened.
She herself rubbed her eyes as she once again saw the coordination that so characterized her team. They were communicating again, warning each other, moving as a single unit. The synchronization between them was practically perfect. At that moment, Killer Marta smiled for the first time in the entire round, aware that they had regained control of the match.

The event continued to advance, and Killer Marta watched as HO$ tried everything possible. They launched rallies, carried out solo attacks, and looked for any opportunity to get back into the match. But LSK was already fully awake. Everything worked like a perfectly tuned clock. Every reinforcement arrived on time, every decision was quick and effective. Killer Marta and her team had come to stay.

As the minutes went by, HO$ was only trying to recover locations close to their positions. However, LSK’s reinforcement speed was simply diabolical. Gradually, control of the match clearly tilted in their favor. Killer Marta truly began to believe it. She knew that if they managed to take a mine, the round would be practically won. They just had to wait for them to open.
The minutes passed, and the exchanges of blows continued, although they were now less frequent. Finally, the mines opened and LSK reacted quickly, gaining control of both. As time went on, Killer Marta and her clan lost one of them, but by then the score was more than enough to secure victory. Convinced of the result, Killer Marta brought the round to an end, very happy both with the win and with her team’s performance.

At the end of the round, Killer Marta was fully aware of the importance of this victory. She knew that not having to play an intermediate round meant a significant saving of resources—resources that could make the difference later in the tournament. With high morale and the objective ever closer, LSK moved forward with firm steps toward the next stages of Ultimate Conquest.
