[Review] Analysis of the Revamped Rebel Tracks Event in Infinity Kingdom

What’s up, folks? In this article, we’re going to take a look at one of my favorite events when I was starting the game, Rebel Tracks. The event was recently revamped with the release of Patch 2.8.8 and it gives more rewards than ever. Let’s discuss the differences, the new rewards, and how they compared to the previous version of the event.

💠Old Version

Rebel Tracks is a three-day monthly event built around two steps: hunt gnomes to collect Rebel Army Emblems, then spend those sigils to spawn level 4–7 Rebel Camps whose level scales with the sigil used. Players rally these camps for points and loot—only the rally leader loses troops, but all participants earn rewards—making it ideal to run with friends and alliance mates. Emblems roll over month to month, and rewards come both per kill and at point thresholds, including speedups, resources, and especially Soul Crystals, which is one of the few free sources besides dismantling immortal shards, plus Ultimate EXP Scrolls and up to seven Epic Artifact Potential Selection Chests that let you choose Sun or Empowered Sun Crystals. Hitting the 500-point mark grants three of the seven chests and hitting the 1,500-point mark gives the final four.

💠New Version

The revamped Rebel Tracks keeps the core loop the same—farm gnomes to get Level 10/11 Rebel Emblems (based on gnome level), summon the same Rebel Camps, and run 5-player rallies for Soul Crystals, 5-minute universals, and resources—but overhauls the milestone rewards. Instead of the old thresholds, players now hit 750, 1200, 1650, 2100, and 2550 points to earn up to 1,320 Ancient Gold, a new currency for the linked Gold Trade event. There, you can exchange Ancient Gold for Schematic Selection Chests (including options for immortals like Yi Sun-Shin), elemental Schematic Artifact Selection Chests, plus ten Sun Crystals and ten Empowered Sun Crystals.

💠Comparative Value of Rewards

Rebel Tracks’ revamped rewards are a clear upgrade in free value. Previously, you could pick only seven Sun or Empowered Sun Crystals, worth about $0.40 each via the Daily Pearl shop, for roughly $2.80 total. Now you can get 10 Sun Crystals and 10 Empowered Sun Crystals, about $8 in equivalent value. On top of that, the new Ancient Gold milestones let you trade for one exclusive artifact each month (e.g., Yi Sun-Shin, Seondeok, Tokugawa, Cao Cao), which was not obtainable for free before, plus an elemental Schematic Artifact Selection Chest. The net result is about triple the crystal value compared to the old event, plus reliable monthly access to a free exclusive artifact and an extra elemental artifact pick.

💠Summary

Rebel Tracks is now a much better free-value event: it used to grant 7 Sun or Empowered Sun Crystals (~$2.80), but the revamp gives 10 of each (~$8). The new Ancient Gold milestones also let players claim one exclusive immortal-specific artifact each month—previously unavailable for free. Overall, the event roughly triples crystal value and adds reliable monthly access to premium artifacts.
