💠Overview
Patch 2.9.5 introduced two new progression systems: Immortal Affinity and Insignias. Affinity allows players to send gifts to specific Immortals to raise affinity levels and unlock rewards at various thresholds, while Insignias function as a collectible stamp system that grants stat bonuses through collection progress. The update also added a new Otherworld Shop tied to a monthly event, where players can purchase affinity gifts and other related items to support progression in the new systems.
💠Affinity
Every Epic and Chaos immortal now has 30 Affinity levels, and players can access the Affinity screen either through the immortal’s portrait or the Affinity symbol beneath the immortal animation. The key milestones are levels 15 and 30, which reward the immortal’s Insignia, Philosopher’s Stones, and access to Character Story content. Most other levels provide Resource Optional Chests, Philosopher’s Stones, and Philosopher’s Stone Shards, but the primary objective of the system is clearly to collect each immortal’s Insignia.

💠Getting Gifts
There are currently three ways to obtain gifts for Immortal Affinity. The easiest free method is completing all daily missions, which gives one Letter of Blessing worth 200 Affinity points. Gifts were also added to the Zuma Shop, with one gift available for each element at a cost of 20 Mystic Ancient Coins each. The final source is the returning Battle of Asteria monthly event, which will include multiple gifts priced between 20 and 80 Otherworld Crystals, though the event has not started yet.

💠Insignia
Collecting Insignias grants permanent attribute bonuses that apply to all immortals, with bonuses activating automatically once conditions are met. Some Insignias can be collected repeatedly, but duplicate attributes do not stack, so the main value comes from expanding the collection. Currently, the best bonuses appear to come from castle skin decorations, many of which provide valuable Attack and Defense percentages. Players can also collect Insignias by category for Gem or Gold rewards and display activated Insignias on their Lord’s Card.

💠Summary
Patch 2.9.5 added Immortal Affinity and Insignias as new progression systems. Affinity uses gifts to unlock rewards and Insignias for Epic and Chaos immortals. Insignias give permanent bonuses, with castle skin decorations currently offering the best stats.
