Alone in the Darkness - Arena of Honor - Season 4 Round 1

After finishing Arena of Honor's season 3 with a solo que, [N0X]LadyKnight lost her spot on the fantastic 10 team at least for the time being, so she's forced to start season 4 same as Shado, with a solo que. The end of season 3 wasn't that good for her, she ended just a bit under the Glory King rank and missed quite some rewards but that determined her even more to get to the rank on season 4. With only 2 weeks break between seasons, she did her best to upgrade the troops under her commander, equip them with the finely crafted valyrian weapons, train her commanders and equip dragons with new dragon skills. Time flew by while doing the preparations and it was already almost mid-day Sunday and time for her to head to the mercenary camp. Once she arrived there, she headed right to the registration office and signed the required papers and then headed to the tavern and waited patiently for the matchmaking to be completed by the Old Gods.

It didn't take long for the matchmaking to conclude, and the battlefield gates opened for the warriors to step in. As soon as she stepped in, LadyKnight was chosen by House Baratheon to fight in their name for this round along [DSB]Benmissa I, [NW1]Lenag, [DSB]Missafarm, [PhD]Benmissa, [TQL]SP4RT4N, [RRH]brokenjade, [G2L]L0rd Peter, [KTW]Lin longer and [HOH]x JAROWIT.

Once the team was completed, everyone headed to the House Baratheon Clan Castle in the North-Est forests of the battlefield and once they arrived there everyone deployed their camps around the castle and prepared for battle. LadyKnight used the last few minutes before the start to send a few scouts and see what the other houses are up to.

Scouts returned with their reports, and they were having decent news, a few of the houses invited premade teams but there were no absolute strong warriors on the battlefield, so chances to win were quite high. The time for scouting was over though as the fight started and strongholds dropped their bubbles and everyone rushed to occupy and reinforce them to get the points generation going.

Once the strongholds were occupied for enough time, they opened for constructing and the House Baratheon's team decided to go with trading posts for this fight, knowing that it will make their attempt to take City of Glory harder. The construction of the trading posts was done just in time as altars started opening and with that the real fighting started. LadyKnight started scouting the altars around, trying to find targets that were defeatable, but mostly looking for altars of the maiden. She found a possible target on Stark's altar of the maiden and decided to try and get 'it for House Baratheon.

Her attack was quick and swift and left RedDragon300 without time to react, so she claimed the altar of the maiden without too much effort. But the time for celebration wasn't there as more and more altars were opening and with them the fighting got more and more intense. House Baratheon was already under a lot of pressure from the other houses and LadyKnight was doing everything in her power to take the altars back and even try to occupy others.

She was getting wins here and there but also a lot of defeats as there were a lot of stronger warriors on the battlefield but that didn't break her spirit, and she fought valiantly for every altar on the battlefield. Like fighting for every altar wasn't stressful enough, another problem popped on the battlefield, Greyjoy's lost their clan castle to Stark's and now the Stark NPCs were heading towards Baratheon's clan castle, so an eye had to be kept on the clan castle at all times. Not wanting to lose the clan castle in the middle of the round made LadyKnight take the hard decision of sacrificing her main march to keep the clan castle secured.

It was now time for the City of Glory to open and every house wanted a piece of it, but without her main march LadyKnight couldn't start a rally but she could surely join the rallies and reinforce her teammates in need.

House Baratheon started strong and managed to take the city from House Targaryen with a solo and everyone in the team reinforced preparing for the upcoming massive attacks. The rallies started coming and the catapults were killing the troops inside so the defending isn't going to be easy for sure, The House Baratheon defended valiantly for as long as they could but one of the rallies made by House Stark managed to get thru their defenses and they got kicked from the City of Glory. That didn't discourage the team and as soon as troops got to the camps and got healed, [H0H]x JAROWIT quickly started a new rally

The rally was quickly filled and marched towards the City of Glory, and it hit the Targaryen's again, kicking them out and the timer started again for House Baratheon. With so many rallies coming from all the sides the Baratheon's didn't manage to hold 'it for 4 minutes this time either and it was time for House Stark to try their luck against all the other houses. Starks had the advantage of holding all the catapults, so it was going to be easier for them to hold, but even with catapults they had a lot of problems holding the City of Glory. However, with the time passing, despite City of Glory swapping hands a few more times, every time when starks were getting 'it they were managing to deflect more and more rallies and ultimately with just a few minutes left on the timer they managed to keep 'it enough for the bubble to kick in and that's how they managed to win the round.

Not a great start of the season for LadyKnight, she didn't manage to score any fame points but on the bright side she didn't lose any too. She leaves the battlefield with hopes that she'll be able to do better on the next rounds and start the ranks climbing. See you all on the battlefield!
