A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 76 (CCS We're Back)

In the vast world of the west, as the sun rose on a morning filled with gusts of cold wind, our Lord's castle was already there, following the events of the previous battle with a satisfactory conclusion.

Our Lord, with the awakening of the morning, prepared for an approaching battle, called the "Siege of Champion City (CCS)," as our Lord had participated in these events before.

But after a while, our Lord returned to these battles with a simple goal: to earn the necessary points to obtain the rewards he expected, and from there he would report on the battles, as they were called.

Remember, there's no benefit to continuing to support battles so much, because only those participating in them or the rally leaders use the benefit. It's very unlikely that an unknown contributor would benefit from this, unless they have a good rally leader and are dedicated to extracting combat pieces, pieces that can also be obtained in the "War of the Realms."

And so our Lord began looking for an alliance that would accept him, and there was one that was populated and there were several of them. Our Lord was hesitant about joining said alliance since there was a lot of competition to fill the rally and to earn points was complicated.

Just then, he found an alliance called XMN. It was mostly made up of a large whale named "ShelkhMe." His name was a bit odd, but that didn't matter; they were so numerous.

But other alliances would emerge to fight the new one created for this occupation.

Among them was the BTa. They weren't as numerous; they seemed to be an invasion group, but they would also be besieging the great castle.

At the forefront was the WBB alliance. Our Lord intended to apply there first, given how strong their leader, CruCio, was, but when he wasn't accepted, he turned to the other alliance.

They weren't that numerous, and they had to accept everyone at the last minute. They didn't pose much of a threat to the alliance that was taking over the castle.

And finally, we would have the well-known and old HOH alliance. It was impossible for them to accept our Lord here, so they wasted no time. Of course, they didn't look at it because at first only a few had entered, and then as the number increased, there were too many...

This was going to be a big problem for the XMN alliance.

"I hope I can score my points...”, our Lord thought, seeing so many alliances and so many Lords on the battlefield. He could already see this was going to be a massacre.

His friend, Queen, was also on the battlefield, but he didn't seem as bright. They just greeted each other and then began to reinforce each other since they were both in the same alliance.

With a bold move, the alliance leader, with the greatest strength of the XNM alliance, would begin the siege, and it would be so swift that he would gain the occupation of "Shadow Fortress," the name of the besieged castle.

Our Lord would be hesitant to reinforce since, in this type of battle, scoring points was what mattered most to him, and he obviously didn't want to lose many troops.

It was a saying that "He who defends loses more troops," and it's true; there are enemy incursions that completely wipe out the castle's troops.

To the point, due to the fact that they cannot change formation, or a different one, when a rally leader is positioned, he is exposed to the other rallies, countering his troops, and it could end very badly.

In the end, our Lord would take a risk and only catch a few small attacks. It was a bit of a point-scoring game, but not exactly what he was looking for.

Until…

Even knowing the consequences, what he feared happened: a member of the WBB alliance would wipe out his entire army, right where he was, with a powerful rally.

Not only would he defeat them, but they would also expel Sheikh Me from the shadow fortress.

Upon being driven out, all alliances would send solo attacks, mostly the easily positioned forts, but even among them, the rally leaders would also drive out the fortress.

Until the fortress was taken by the BTa alliance participants, rallies obviously didn't take long to build up.

And the leader of the XNM alliance would be no exception…

That would quickly strike, our Lord would participate in this rally and earn many elimination points. He was pleased with the results.

And it would be much easier for him to earn the points because XNM was now attacking to take the Shadow Fortress.

From there, trouble would arise for the alliance.

Since the shadow fortress would be taken by HOH, they were numerous and could easily reinforce the castle quickly.

This would be a problem for the XNM alliance, whose goal was to have the castle for themselves. Despite the large rallies that drove them out, they quickly reoccupied and reinforced the fortress.

"It seems they won't be able to take the castle; the reinforcements given by HOH are very fast," exclaimed our Lord, who saw the massacre unfolding.

He was calm because he had already obtained his points and had stopped reinforcing, one who sometimes went to extract the combat pieces.

The battle was based on the winner's castle occupation time, and the scoreboards were very even. Countless attacks were being made on the castle.

Until the end of the game, an hour would pass so quickly with so much action taking place in those battles.

As a result…

Although SheikMe initially took control of the battle, he was gradually overwhelmed by the number of rally leaders and the rapid reinforcements from members of the HOH alliance, as one of the older alliances is known, also becoming one of the best and most active.

They were tough opponents, and the defeat is understandable.

On the other hand, our Lord achieved his required score without losing so many troops, the same could be said for his friend QUEEN.

It seems he was partying or something, and lost many T5s, approximately 1 million.

Not everyone fared well…

As recommendations.

Our Lord will always recommend that, if you don't allow it or aren't in an alliance that requires you to participate in this event, don't waste your troops when you have more than the score needed to claim all the rewards.

And above all, always analyze who you should send your rally to and see if they can beat the one in one of the big castles...

Another point: never play if you feel somewhat incapable, or you'll end up like QUEEN. Losing 1M of T5 is a huge waste of Valyrian steel, which could happen in the future or could be worse.

Always remember to look out for your friends so there's more trust and support in battles!
