Finally, my favorite event has arrived - Kingdom vs Kingdom! This edition was very important to me for several reasons: the first and most important is that my alliance, just before the start of KVK, finally moved to this Kingdom, which meant that we were together again after a very long time! The last time we were together was on k88 and a lot of time has passed since then and I couldn't wait to get together again in one place, especially because they had big problems on k226, where a few of our players still need to move here to k202. The second reason why this KVK was important to me is the fact that the last few editions of this event I wasn't able to play, which also meant that we were losing matches, which brings us to the third reason why I couldn't wait for this match to start... Since I am one of our strongest players and one of the few who fight during KVK, my absence resulted in defeats for our Kingdom. Because of all this, I couldn't wait for this match to start! I just hoped that our opponents wouldn't be some strong Kingdom...

K265. One of those Kingdoms that are very difficult opponents for us, that has several very strong players...

However, I know something about the BoL alliance. I know that they, just like us, are a fairly relaxed alliance, without any great pressure to achieve some great results, so they don't have any particularly strong players. After all, k265 is not their main Kingdom, there are only about twenty of their players here, so I still hoped that we would have our chances in this match.

But, shortly before the official start of the match, I received some bad news... Drakkainenn, besides me the strongest player on the Kingdom, who is even more important than me, told me that he would only be able to join the match on Sunday afternoon, which means that we will play more than half of the match without him! That was a huge blow to our ambitions, since he is currently the only player from our kingdom who has unlocked T5, and who has been our most active player in all matches so far...

Getting to know k265 was not promising. As I already stated, we are playing against the BoL alliance, but apart from them there were not many other players and alliances. It was mostly their alt alliances and weaker players which didn't give me much hope of having many targets to attack. I was once again afraid that we would have a boring KVK - unless one of their weaker players decided to join the fight, I would most likely have no one to go to war with! These stronger players of theirs are too strong for me to solo attack them, and on the other hand, even though I now had quite a few teammates who had recently come to k202 - I didn't want to expose them to the unnecessary risk of dropping a bubble and running out of troops, so I advised them not to get involved in fights but to focus on gathering. However, before the start of the match, I spotted several of their players who did not have a bubble, and as soon as the match started, I went after them!

As I suspected - mostly their alts who don't have many troops... But, I still managed to find some troops and at least in a very short time I picked up individual rewards and brought us a certain advantage at the very beginning of the match!

After these attacks, I continued to search for some targets. However, no matter how much I searched there was simply no one to attack... So I had to turn to new solutions - the fight for Great Castles! In my previous KVK stories, I stated several times that I don't like fighting for Great Castles, I prefer fighting player vs player, however in matches like this we simply have to adapt to the situation and try to make the best of it, which in this case meant fighting for Great Castles... So I went back to k202 and occupied almost all the Great Castles I could.

I found it strange that there was still no one from k265 on our Kingdom, and no one had even come to the nodes yet. This obviously meant that the fights will be held tomorrow, meaning that it was pointless for me to wait for one of the opponents to show up. Even if some of their weaker players came to us on k202, I wouldn't be able to gain much since I don't want to attack their nodes. Namely, since I started actively participating in KVK, I promised myself that I wouldn't attack players who go to the nodes. Mostly, these are weaker players who can't actively fight against players like me, or stronger players, so I leave them alone to collect all the individual rewards they can. Personally, it wouldn't mean much to me to kill their troops on the nodes, but to them, the rewards they will receive mean a lot, so I think it's fair to let them freely gather resources. That's how it was this time - even in the later moments of the match when the winner of the match was being decided, I didn't want to attack their troops on the nodes. I understand that, for our Kingdom's sake, this is the wrong decision that can cost us victories in some matches, but I want to be fair and allow even weak players to advance, even if it's my opponents. So I waited a little longer, got a few more points, and after none of their slightly stronger players showed any interest in fighting, I decided to take a break and continue the match tomorrow.

By the time I left, we had already achieved a nice lead... But I knew that this was not a realistic result and that everything would change when the opponents joined the match tomorrow! However, I was happy about the fact that Drakkainenn would join us, so we would be stronger than before.

When I returned to the match, I was surprised - we were still in a big lead, although our opponents also managed to collect a certain amount of points, but our advantage was still large! I was even more surprised when I saw the reports - AleXBesT, their nominally strongest player, is not as strong as I thought! In fact, he is weaker than me!

Although I did not see the reports of their other players who have already joined the fight, I was relieved because this time we finally got an opponent who is at worst on par with us! Taking that into account, plus the fact that we gained a nice points advantage in the first few hours of the match, filled me with optimism for the continuation of the match!

I quickly scanned k265 to see if anything had changed, meaning if one of their players had lost their bubble, but there was still no one to attack. In my search, I noticed that a good portion of their stronger players had not yet moved, which was extremely strange to me since they are strong enough that we cannot harm them with solo attacks. But we should not worry about the opponent, we have a lot of work to do until the end!

With no targets to attack I decided to go into the fight for the Great Castles again, although this time the situation was a bit more dangerous - this time the BoL players were active so I expected them to attack me once I occupied the Castles. So I once again attacked my old victim - D M X, to put his lord in the Dungeon for the extra buff, and set about occupying the Castle again.

Unfortunately, I spent the next few hours waiting in vain for any action... Although this deevelopment of situation was very good for our Kingdom, I was deeply disappointed because I wanted to fight so much! I cared so much about this victory, I wanted to show my alliance that they made the right decision to come here to k202 and I wanted to prove myself to them all! However, the opponents were simply not interested for fighting! They only showed up once, scouting King's Landing, but they didn't even try to attack, and I didn't have time to react since I had troops in 3 Great Castles at that moment, so it wasn't possible to quickly bring the troops back and attack, the player who was scouting had already disappeared... In the meantime, Drakkainenn appeared! I knew that we were now at a great advantage, perhaps even a decisive one, since he really does an excellent job for our Kingdom, he is an uncompromising fighter and does not hesitate to attack even stronger players than himself. In agreement with him, we decided that he would go fight for the Castles on k265, since they were still unoccupied! I really have a hard time understanding our opponents' battle plan - at the very least, they could have occupied the Castles on their Kingdom, which would have brought them a considerable number of points and made the match much more interesting. And so we soon occupied almost all the Castles on both Kingdoms!

However, we didn't have to wait long for our opponents' response! Soon after Drakkainenn occupied King's Landing on k265 Raven brought me his message that the opponents were rallying that Castle!

At first I advised him that it would be wiser for him not to let them attack it, although I had already seen reports from their player who started the rally, I didn't want to risk anything! Therefore, Drakkainenn withdrew his troops anyway. However, while the opponents were rallying, Drakkainenn managed to get a scout report from their strongest player...

And now we come to the climax of this match! Although I was fully aware that even much stronger players than me would not dare to solo attack such players with such a large number of troops, I still decided to attack! I made this decision partly due to the fact that I was furious that I had not had much action before, and to be completely honest I also wanted to test my strength. I quickly set everything up for the attack, turned on the additional attack buff, activated the 75% army size buff and went on the attack!

Once again - a complete failure...

It sounds incredible that I do this in almost every KVK! In almost every match I've actively participated in, I've had to make this attempt at least once. Obviously I'll never learn...

I had no choice but to poison my Lord and accept the fact that for the next hour I could only watch the match silently. Without my Lord, I simply could not fight, and it would take an hour for my Lord to return, so I had no choice but to wait. In the meantime, Drakkainenn decided to follow his instincts and let our opponents attack him.

He once again showed why he is so important to our Kingdom!

To my great regret, after this failed attack by our opponents, there was no more activity until the end of the match... Apart from AleXBesT and Nine Dragon, none of their strong players engaged in combat, all the others decided to gather resources, apparently they assessed that they no longer had much of a chance in this match, while AleXBesT and Nine Dragon were satisfied with the points they had gained so far, so they also retreated to their Kingdom and calmly waited for the end of the match. After my Lord finally returned, I still tried to find targets for another attack, but there was still no one, so I had to once again make the decision I hated so much - to occupy the Great Castles...

I was still hoping for a miracle, I believed that one of them would try to do something, that they would try to take a few more points. However, that didn't happen and by the end of the match our points advantage just grew and grew.

In the end, we achieved another big victory!

Another one of "those" matches... Even though we achieved our goal, which is to win this match, and even though we were actually the weaker of the two sides since k265 has many more stronger players than us on k202 - I'm personally not satisfied. Maybe I'm a bit too critical, in the end we still won, which was my great desire for the reasons I stated at the beginning - I'm still not satisfied with the match itself. Even though we can't influence how our opponents will play the match and who will decide to figth PVP, in the end I feel indebted to my alliance and the rest of our players on k202. I'm the one who brought my alliance to k202 and I wanted to show them that they can count on me, however, I couldn't show much in this match. I also wanted to repay my other teammates on k202 for missing the last few matches, but this definitely wasn't one of my best performances. However, when everything is added up and subtracted - in the end we still scored a deserved victory!! I must once again emphasize the fact that I have the impression that our opponents gave up any desire to win this match right at the beginning of the match. Only two of their players tried to fight us, the rest just went for gathering, which was a completely wrong decision in this match. I must also emphasize the fact that at no point did they try to occupy the Castles on their Kingdom, which I took advantage of at the very end of the match and occupied each of those Castles for 10 minutes, which after the match ended brought our alliance ownership of them, that is, we received additional buffs for the alliance! They simply played this match very badly and we deserved to win. I hope that in their next matches they will have much more active players than against us, otherwise they will not have much success...

As for our Kingdom, we still have room for improvement. We are still down to just two strong players - Drakkainenn and me - and a fairly large number of our players are still inactive during the match, but we have still shown some progress. Of course, this progress came due to the fact that my alliance joined k202, which gave us more active players, but it is also pleasing that there were more active players from other alliances with k202. We are slowly making progress, but it will take a long time before we can engage in the fight against stronger Kingdoms. The progress so far is certainly pleasing and the arrival of my alliance brings only good things for our Kingdom, but we have a long way to go... In any case, I would like to congratulate all our players who participated in this victory once again, so even though I personally cannot be satisfied with the match, it will still be remembered that we won, which is the most important thing! And the next KVK is no-kill, which means that we will have many more active players in the match! Who knows, maybe for the first time since I've been playing this game I'll manage to rally against one of the opposing players, which has been impossible for me so far due to the fact that I was playing alone... I'm looking forward to the next KVK!
