Glorious Battle - [N0X] vs [FDH] vs [KAC] - The pursuit for Glory

After the first actual fight [N0X] had in Glorious Battle, against [FDH], for the fortress they went back to their homebase, the Longreach Castle for some well-deserved rest for both the commanders along with all their troops and dragons. However, word of their valiant battle was sent all around Westeros and it didn't take much to reach Tempest Faction's main castle and to [KAC]. [N0X] never faced [KAC] directly in any other events as their warriors prefer to fight mid-day where [N0X]'s favorite time for events its 18:00 so they didn't know exactly what [KAC] is capable to. On the morning of 6th December [N0X] warriors started waking up and when they went to read the Glorious Battle notifications that came overnight, they noticed something very important between them, namely a war declaration from Tempest Faction against the Longreach controlled Fortress - 4 situated on the south of the map. The battle was set to happen around 13:00 which is [KAC]s fighting primetime.

On the hours left till the fight, [N0X] members started preparing for the fight, arming their troops with the best weapons and training their dragons to spit the hottest flames of Westeros. Meanwhile the [N0X] higherups didn't just stay and wait for the fight, they started sending ravens to their allies to find out as much information about [KAC] as possible. The information that came back weren't too good for [N0X] as unlike [FDH], [KAC] had a few of the strongest warriors of Westeros in their ranks, mainly MatJenin and Black bear. Both MatJenin and Black bear were maining a max female cavalry setup but also and advantage of being one of the top warriors is the versatility in swapping lineups and synergies.

Beside MatJenin and Black bear, [KAC] also had some other very strong warriors on their ranks like yumiBobi, Dragon V or Melonpi OvO. On the other side of the battlefield there was [N0X] a strong alliance too but without that many very strong accounts in their ranks, however they had ImperialRock, a top-notch warrior of Westeros, one of the most versatile warriors in terms of lineups and synergies and some would say even stronger than Matjenin and Black bear.

Along him, in [N0X], there were also other strong warriors like Belore II, DYW or VERGO. After finding out everything they needed to know about [KAC], the [N0X] leaders took a seat to the table and started strategizing on what they can do to get [N0X] victorious of this hard upcoming battle. They decided that the resilience will play a very important role in weakening their strong opponents just enough for ImperialRock to take them down so every [N0X] warrior was asked that, beside their main fighting army, to send what its known in Westeros as a "spam march" basically a small number of troops in a march with the sole purpose to kill as little as 1 troop from their opponents to decrease their resilience, as with resilience decrease, Glorious Battle also applies a stat decrease. Will the strategy and the number of players be enough for Longreach Faction to defeat Tempest? well let's see, shouldn't we?

The time for strategies is over as the battle horn sounded and Tempest Faction deployed their forces in their attempt to conquer Fortress - 4 from Longreach Faction and get access to the buffs provided by adiacent buildings. One of the first warriors to reach Fortress was MatJenin that didn't spare even a second and quickly engaged the [N0X] warriors that were trying to defend and he quickly rose to a 15 kill steak that was announced all over the battlefield. Among them there were also Shado and LadyKnight, the terrific duo that never misses any of [N0X] fights. Unlucky for them though they got in MatJenin's Crossair that did a 180 no scope and executed them both along with their troops.

Despite the loses, [N0X] warriors kept resending their marches for the whole fight, softening [KAC]'s "whales" as their called-on Westeros just enough for [N0X] own whale to take them down. The occupation bar kept moving "to the left to the left, to the right to the right" depending on who's faction whale was inside the building. While the warriors of [N0X] didn't had much luck taking MatJenin and Black bear out of the Fortress, ImperialRock did so quite easily.

While Shado had the "luck" on always running into MatJenin or Black bear every time he deployed a march, LadyKnight on the other hand was a bit luckier and when not running into them, she managed to actually inflict quite some damage on the enemy forces and get some of the elimination points for it. She fought bravely in every fight and despite sustaining heavy loses she kept going in order to help [N0X] secure their Fortress.

The battle went back and forth like that for the rest of its duration and ultimately after 1 hour of hard fighting Longreach Faction and [N0X] emerged victorious over Tempest Faction and [KAC]. It was a very hard fight with lots of troops losing their lives on both sides but there's no time to mourn as Glorious Battle is a very short yet very intense event. Will [N0X] be able to protect their buildings and conquer more in order to become Glorious Battle Champions? Only time will tell. See you on the battlefield!
