More benefits, more surprises
-<( INTRODUCTION )>-
There are classic adventures, and sometimes, for reasons beyond his control, man is led to live much more epic adventures. Adventures that begin in unexpected places. It is an unprecedented story that was going to be written for the 276th kingdom, a story that begins in a mine. Not a classic blue mine, nor a golden mine, but the most glorious of all: the super red mine. While the fanfares announced the imminent arrival of the mines, everyone was interested in the weapon that could be acquired there.
This was Raymond's weapon, an ancient axe, which brought multiple bonuses to its wielder. First, in gold production, which was one of the most difficult resources to acquire. Great commanders produced a gargantuan quantity of it, because they consumed a lot of it for their troops. Great warriors needed these commanders to plunder them. So, everyone won. This weapon also brought a total defense bonus, negligible certainly, but always welcome. Finally, it was especially the weapon at its maximum state of 4 stars that everyone coveted, for its ability to increase the quantity of troops.
For Arthurion, the war on the burning mines always took place in two stages. A first night stage, which lasted between 7 and 8 hours, where the fighting took place without him. It was then his friends from the server who told him what had happened. The second part took place in broad daylight. Arthurion liked to make blood flow at the first light of day. And that is what he did, quickly freeing the current occupant of the mine.
Knight against knight, Arthurion was unfortunately much stronger than his opponent, and thus did enough damage to occupy the red mine. Quickly, he received a letter from his opponent, who asked him if he really needed this weapon.
- Tony Montana : Did you really need this weapon ?
- Arthurion : off course !
Of course Arthurion needed this weapon! Arthurion was universally known as a big consumer of gold. Anything that could allow him to increase his production was a godsend. Especially since Arthurion often lived in the same kingdom as particularly stingy people, like PacoVega, or Vangark, who systematically refused to send him billions of bags of gold. Arthurion, on the other hand, gave without counting! But never more than 10,000 gold coins, so that his friends would not get used to doing nothing and not mining.
-<( FIGHT AGAINST NBe )>-
After a short period of calm, Arthurion suffered a first attack. Immediately on the lookout, as PacoVega had skillfully taught him, he had his troops healed, and went into the mine to see what was left.
A lancer of reasonable size. And clearly capable of inflicting obvious damage on him, however without putting him in danger. As he passed the storm passed. He was warned of a new attack. Then a few seconds later, a new one, then another one. In total, it was no less than 15 successive attacks that Arthurion suffered in the red mine, by the NBe.
With always the same result. Was his opponent looking for merit? In any case, Arthurion had rarely seen such relentlessness. He had lost a lot, but it was mainly weak troops, notably T2, and a few T3. The care was fast, and inexpensive. Nothing insurmountable for Arthurion, whose state of mind oscillated between pride in winning against a lancer, and embarrassment at having to care for a very large number of troops. When his opponent came to his senses, Arthurion was clearly relieved. But this was short-lived, since a new NBe immediately tried to attack Arthurion.
Arthurion was in a state. Another victory in his fight against the lancers. Proud, he went to strut in his alliance, and showed his magnificent results to his friends, who unanimously congratulated him, before realizing a cruel flaw….
- Where is Cassana?
- Oh shit…
In the rush, he had organized his army very badly. It was a leaden pall that fell on him… After all these fights. What misery! Time to change, he suffered a new attack from the same NBe, but this time, with very different results.
The NBe even seemed to have given each other the word, and everyone was now coming to try their luck on Arthurion. Because a new batch of lancers was going to arrive soon.
Still no significant loss for Arthurion. But without a major commander, it was difficult to imagine being able to hit him effectively. No time to rest for Arthurion, since a new unknown tried his luck, twice.
The first reflex was again to heal his troops. And then to go see the intensity of the fight. The first attack, certainly the most moderate, inflicted a heavy price on Arthurion.
The second attack was of a completely different scale. Seeing that the first had not achieved its objective, MAGOMARH withdrew his weakest troops, namely the T1 and T2.
A rather surprising result, worse than the first, and much more serious losses, because MAGOMARH's T5s were hit. He had a formation that was perfectly suited to countering the cavalry, but clearly insufficient. He did not return soon.
-<( BATTLE ROYAL )>-
The NBe seemed to have learned their lesson, and did not come back to claim the mine all afternoon. The few applicants seemed to have given each other the word, and Arthurion's power was beyond comparison. At most, one LEG tried its luck, but without any more success than the NBe.
The cavalry seemed to fall almost as quickly as the lancers. And for this last attempt, even the T5s were hit.
The afternoon had been quiet. Far too quiet. Now that Arthurion had occupied the mine long enough to guarantee him first place, he entrusted it to his sidekick PacoVega, so that he too could obtain the weapon, or fragments of the weapon. But this one was attacked by Defy. Then taken back by Arthurion. Unfortunately empty. Sometimes, making a powerful blow, and destroying a large quantity of troops allows to cut the motivation of the opponents. But sometimes, it turns into a hell of an exchange, to try to place the right person for as long as possible. It was a real broom that took place, or each of the opponents tried to bring into play the maximum number of participants.
Even ZEOO, one of the first NBe who had attacked Arthurion, wanted to come back into the game. He was unfortunately severely ousted by PacoVega.
But Paco was once again taken out by a horseman. This was too much for Arthurion, who, failing to be able to effectively place his relatives in the mine, decided to occupy it himself the rest of the time. Which was not to the liking of the NBe (which was perfectly understandable). Next time, a pact could perhaps put an end to these misadventures.
-<( CONCLUSION )>-
The day ended with a long victory for Arthurion, and a little less than 13 hours in this fiery mine. The final ranking was not what he had hoped for, and many of his close friends were still missing from the top ranking. In the absence of being able to help them, Arthurion had monopolized the mine. He was at least able to pocket the magnificent axe, and increase, a little more, the quality of his weapons.
The main gain of the day was obviously the absolutely staggering amount of merit he had achieved! The different attacks of his enemies sometimes brought him between 100 and 300k of merit. Enough to make a monumental leap and satisfy his belligerent ego. His blacksmith would surely be happy to try to reforge this weapon to have even more passive bonuses.
The FFS alliance and its allies had once again proven their infallible organization and their deep solidarity. But the NBe were very powerful, and had put many obstacles in the way of the FFS, preventing them from reaching their full objectives. Arthurion thanked his friends once again, and was now going to be able to enjoy all this gold he was already producing!
