Arena of Honor, Alatunn's journey in Bully team,Season 2 Round 6

The second season of one of the most beloved tournaments in Seven Kingdoms – Arena of Honor – continues and we are going to witness adventures of lord Alatunn and Bully team in the 6th round on one of the strongest battlefields where all best warriors of Seven Kingdoms fighting against each other for the opportunity to occupy City of Glory and emerge champions. Since its very first days Arena of Honor conquered hearts of lords and ladies for its dynamic and diverse gameplay where every player can find their place and perform some duty to help their team. You can be a strong rally leader capturing buildings and opposing your foes directly or you can control battle camps changing their type by rebuilding them to occupy important buildings with clan house troops and at the same time send your troops to stronger teammates as reinforcements. One way or another Arena is an interesting tournament for everyone. 

Our team got a new warlord Shire , who recently replaced KARASA, who left us after fighting for only 2 battles due to personal reasons. Now we have to understand if we can play together as one army or we would fail to cooperate and need to seek for somebody else.

We arrived at the battlefield. That day the Old Gods assigned us to fight for House Bratheon that has the well known motto “Ours is the Fury” well I think it can fit us as well. There was not much time left before our troops were sent to the battlefield to occupy different buildings and fight against our new enemies so it was the time to get to know who we got to face off today. Scouts were sent away to get vital information we were so much in need of.

Our reconnaissance just went away when a messenger arrived with a letter from House Lannister. It turned out that there is another team consisting of BaN members, of course, since most of our team are BaN players they were recognized as allies. The group had no formidable rally leaders so we had to help them with altars in a case somebody really strong decided to occupy their territories.  

Further to the right our scouts discovered a well-known team that we faced off many times. It was a KUM party led by Nachu, MASAO and Syakiri, today they were located near Tyrell’s House. We met them in the 1st and 2nd seasons and they always act organized and coordinate their actions immediately sending reinforcements when their rally leaders are trying to occupy some building. It was hard to fight them and normally led to war of rallied armies. Even they aren't strong enough to contest for City of Glory they will show serious resistance to any our attempt to occupy their lands. 

It came out that to the right from us under the banner of House of Stark a team of GCM players placed their camp preparing to fight. Their team led by Strike301 and NIGHTRIDER could be an interesting enemy but GCM is a sister alliance of the BaN alliance hence they were also considered our allies. Oh that's not good we just got know 3 of 5 opposing teams and two of them are our allies already. Who will we fight then? 😂 I hope we won't met another ally but let's see what did we met that day.

Further to the right our reconnaissance unit detected armies of HHH placed near the House of Greyjoy. Their team was led by pretty famous and strong spearmen warlord Jason168. That's for sure they will fight for their territory taking back some of captured by us altars but since they dont have diversity of rally leaders and our champion Meridianos mostly using infantry and spearmen their chance to fight for City of Glory almost absent.

At last on the opposite side of the map we found a team of UTB players. They got an honor to fight under Targaryens banner and they had a couple of “dragons” - ThorStorm and Mandy. Although those dragons are young and even they have strong fighting spirit we are “old dragons” and they have to respect us or they would be eaten 😀

When the time to fight had come Alatunn sent his armies into UTB territories to capture the very first altar of Stranger. He was curious to engage into the battle with both ThorStorm and Mandy as previously he never faced them off. Suddenly the altar came out to be occupied and to capture it Alatunn’s cavalry squad payed some price and now after losing part of the troops the situation became even more spicy and ThorStorm didnt make to wait for him for too long and threw his armies into flames of the battle. Despite serious number disadvantage Alatunn’s better equipment together with might of Sapphire dragon allowed him to decisively crash his opponent and force him to retreat back

After a few battles when troops count reduced to half it was time to return to our war camp and refill thinned ranks and KUM immediately used the situation Alatunn’s troops just arrived to Baratheon clan house when scouts reported that KUM Kumozou already occupied altar of stranger in UTB territories moreover their team even managed to reinforce him already, that's a speed thats a coordination, real masters of war! The good part was that even though Kumozou being a serious fighter he is focused with infantry troops, a perfect enemy for Alatunn’s cavalry. It was the time to test ourselves and without waiting Alatunn led his cavalry into attack. The result came out to be satisfying as enemy had way more troops and it was a clear even not decisive victory

Parallelly one of our group leaders, UrCandy, occupied the Altar of Warrior in KUMs lands. Of course they won't let it happen so easily so Alatunn immediately sent an infantry army to reinforce teammate at the same time another reinforcements was sent. When the first of KUM fighters arrived with a cavalry army to challenge us for an attempt to conquer their altar, UrCandy already had a serious army set for defense.  Serious number advantage together with superior Candy’s equipment and ability of Vorian to deal with cavalry brought us a decisive victory. Even KUM didnt try to attack us at that altar directly after its bubble dropped in a few minutes they returned there with another rallied army and the battle over its ownership started again 😀

While Candy fought for one of KUM’s altar, Meridianos took over another and this time we didnt go away so easily. Nachu, seeing that his team was losing their ground, started to assemble a big army hoping to push us back at the same time our troops were spread all over the map so Meridianos only got a couple of reinforcements. The situation became unclear as Nachu had to come at us with serious force. At last a pretty big rallied army appeared on the horizon, Meridianos cheered up troops before a hard battle and ordered to engage without waiting cavalry charge. It was a real bloodbath where both sides lost a significant amount of soldiers but after all, the quality of Meridianos troops took over Nachu’s superior numbers indicating he shall not challenge our champion again. And it could work out with somebody else but Nachu’s team doesnt understand such hints they would return to try again for sure 😂

At last lord Alatunn got the opportunity to face off his old “rival” Nachu. It worth mentioning that even there is no war between those 2 it happened that way that they meet each other very often and both are strong cavalry warlords they have this competition, you know 🙂 That day something had happened maybe the fortune smiled to Alatunn too much or maybe one of Nachu’s officers tripped over stone while riding horse and didnt brought to army one of orders but suddenly it turned out to be complete victory for Alatunn and for sure pretty serious disappointment for Nachu who was expecting result close to previous ones when one of them indecisively beat his counterpart

At this point of time our team completely dominated over the map we held Glory city, our siege team conquered all towers and catapults and the second BaN team also was looking forward to finishing second but the difference between them and KUM was not so big. To help our ally we had to increase the pressure on KUM even more. 

To reduce KUMs trade income lord Drakonjan dispatched his army into the altar of Maiden that gives respective bonus. At the same time Alatunn’s scouts reported that Syakiri, one of KUM’s spearmen warlords sent his troops to attack Drakonjan army and even our teammate has strong cavalry with great commanders lineup including Cassana, Syariki’s spearmen could pose a serious threat if battle turned out to be 1 to 1. There was no time to think so best cavalry troops together with blue dragon was sent to assist for the defense. Additional troops doubled Drakonjan army size and it was just enough to beat Syakiri. The mission was completed and KUMs point income reduced even more while our allies managed to go ahead by points and secure their silver medal.

It was an interesting and dynamic battle where all 3 opposing factions: KUM, UTB and HHH fought until the end. As always KUM turned out to be the most fierce enemy, they managed to keep control over a good amount of altars all over the map so it was harder to find them and recapture. They ended up in 4th place whilst UTB somehow managed to outrun them with points but for sure they showed strongest resistance and won respect once again. Our team took over the battlefield, conquered City of Glory and went 1 step closer to season champions title where at the moment with small advantage leading WxC group but maybe somebody would go to contest their advantage 😀
