Siege of Winterfell Season 12 Round 5 | GEU vs. 7FD

Dear lords and ladies all around Westeros! Get ready for the big game between GEU and 7FD in Season 12 of Siege of Winterfell! It's the fifth round, and things are getting intense! We are coming closer to the end of the season and excitement is still at its peak! Some alliances are doing good while playing for the top, while others are mostly playing for the season rewards! GEU's main goal is to be in the top 50 this season. If they can't make it, they're aiming for the top 100 as Plan B! But no matter what, they want to be noticed and respected by everyone in Westeros, and end up having an amazing season!

GEU is having a good season so far, having only one loss out of their 4 matches, which helped them reach a good ranking and they surely want to keep the good form going! Their next opponent, 7FD, is also a competitive alliance and they will try their best to stop GEU! However, it needs to be addressed that GEU has a slight advantage over 7FD in terms of strength…

Even though GEU knows they have a little edge in this game, it's not a big one. They know they need to really work for the win and give a proper battle to the opposition! When alliances are playing at this level, they can't make any mistakes, as it can cost them the game!

Let’s meet the alliances;

-GEU-

-7FD-

The countdown begins… and the match starts!!

With the start of the game, the first thing you will notice is the number of participants! GEU has 77 players on the field while 7FD enters the battle with 62! This gives GEU a bit of an advantage right from the start, as with more players, they seem to have the upper hand!

The game begins with both sides rushing towards the buff buildings. These buildings are crucial because of the helpful buffs they offer! The Armory boosts stats, making fighting easier, while the Hot Spring reduces healing costs, which is really important since healing can be expensive in SoW!

GEU has a straightforward plan. They split their forces into two teams: one heads for the Hot Spring, and the other goes for the Armory. They make sure each team has enough members to capture the buildings and get the bonuses they offer.

7FD follows a similar strategy, leading to intense battles in both buildings right from the start! This sets the stage for an exciting match between the two alliances!

As the battle rages on, GEU starts taking the upper hand in the Armory and the Hot Spring! Both sides have a great number of armies around these buildings, and GEU is taking the lead in both slowly, but surely! They are pretty close to getting all the buffs they need, which will be a big help in the rest of the match!

As the battle at the Hot Spring starts to wrap up, GEU shows how strong they are by grabbing the healing buff! They take advantage of this by healing their troops and getting them ready for more action! With their opponent’s defense on the right side weakened, they boldly move towards 7FD's Bases. They don't hesitate and give it their all to capture Base 4, but 7FD is prepared, with a bunch of reinforcements waiting to defend it!

While 7FD is occupied with the fight between Base 4, Base 3, and the Armory, GEU manages to take control of the Winterfell area and grabs the very first package safely! There is nothing to stop them from delivering it at this point as their opponent is fighting at a place way too far from there…

With the first package delivered successfully, GEU sends more reinforcements to Bases 3 and 4, to make sure 7FD resistance in these buildings can be stopped! They don’t want their opponent to break through and get additional points from the other buildings. It is also important to keep them on the opposite side of the map, as it allows GEU to take and deliver the Winterfell package safely, which gives a lot of points in return!

Eventually, GEU manages to overcome their opponents in the Bases, and moves even further while a small group of their fighters are dealing with the package transportation! GEU reaches the opponent Outposts, and these buildings have a great importance for their opponent as these are the only buildings left for them to hold! If 7FD loses these, GEU will reach their spawning point and lock them for the rest of the game!

7FD sends reinforcements to right and left Outposts, aiming to defend them… They have no margin for error yet GEU has strong fighters and they are greater in numbers! 7FD gives a great fight, shows examples of how it is done, but cannot prevent GEU from taking these buildings too and having control all over the map!

Just when victory seems within reach, GEU decides to show an example of sportsmanship as they also did in their previous matches. They announce that once they hit 80k points, they're going to leave all the castles and the remaining packages for their opponent! It's all about being good sports for them. They want to set a good example and give their opponents a chance to earn some extra points for rewards too. It's a classy move that shows they care about fairness and respect in the game!

With this win GEU strengthens their spot in the rankings and manages to stay in the top 100! They are one match ahead of making it to the top 50, but only in one condition, they have to win the upcoming match no matter what! They have the strength, coordination, and the ability to do so, and as they are having a great season so far they also feel confident in themselves! The matchmaking for the next round will be very important, but one thing is certain that the GEU fighters are up for the challenge!

Thank you for reading the story for this match in Round 5, and I hope to meet you all again with the next story of the Siege of Winterfell…
