Sixth and final round of the 12th season of Siege of Winterfell.

The path traversed by the alliances up to this point has been difficult and tumultuous, each of them vying for one of the top spots in the final standings and to elevate the name of their alliance.

For HOH, the match played against N3O was painful. In the fifth round of their season, just as in the first, they suffered a scathing and crushing defeat against a dominant opponent who would vie for the title of the tournament's best alliance at its conclusion. Aside from this aspect, however, their journey had gone relatively well, collecting three victories overall. But today, they had to absolutely aim to close the season in style.

Ready on the battlefield were a total of 96 members for HOH, their opponent was late to arrive, and the leader took the opportunity to address their members with a few words before the start of hostilities: "I know you're all very tired, we're here today for one final effort together this season. Winning this match is a matter of pride, and seeing so many members here willing to do everything to bring home a positive outcome in round six makes me realize it is for you too." The leader's words were cut short by the arrival of the rival army, the noise of their approaching footsteps deafening.

It was...

NW1

Another alliance that needed no introductions, skilled and experienced warriors were present in their ranks led by incredible leaders like ccku. They came from a relatively positive season, much like HOH, seeking one last victory today. It would be a match to watch breathlessly.

Neik had faced today's opponents on several occasions, often emerging victorious, but nothing was certain against warriors of their caliber. The difference would be the desire to win the sixth and final round of the season, and for the members of HOH, as well as their counterparts, it was incredibly high.

The battlefield was ready to host the match, the sky seemingly calm and tranquil, but the air among the members of the two alliances was charged with electricity. The anticipation for the beginning of the contest seemed endless, and with each passing minute, the anxiety mounted.

The orders from the leaders, given before the start of the match, were clear: the Winterfell group would head to support Armory as a strong enemy presence was expected from initial reconnaissance.

However, during the journey, an allied scout returned and relayed valuable information to Depravity, who was leading the group: NW1 made the decision to catch their rivals off guard by waiting for them at Base 3, aiming to confront the enemies in small groups rather than meeting them head-on at Armory.

The valuable information received changed Depravity's strategy, which was to immediately besiege Base 3 with as many people as possible to avoid facing them in waves, and so it was!

Upon their arrival, NW1 and their companions were taken by surprise. They did not expect that HOH would uncover their intentions, and the large number of rivals striking them suddenly was incredible.

The initial clashes between the two alliances were brutal; catching them off guard proved to be a plan that greatly benefited the Winterfell group.

Thanks to the mistaken strategy adopted by NW1 and the one that worked very well for HOH, territorial superiority immediately shifted into their hands after the first phase of combat.

"Great job with the strategy change," Neik said, addressing the leader in command of the group.

"Thank you, now let's head back towards Winterfell," were Depravity's words after also taking possession of Greyjoy Outpost. The first loot was about to be released, and this was crucial to securing the final favorable outcome for their alliance.

Having managed to repel the enemy towards their own base from the very outset of the match also paid off in this case: upon arriving at Winterfell, HOH's numerical superiority was evident. The battle for its conquest was relatively straightforward in the hands of Job5ter and with his comrades covering his back. Thus, the possession of the first loot fell into the ranks of HOH!

The timid attempt by the adversaries to hinder the progress of their rivals was swept away by the combative ferocity they displayed on the battlefield today. But there was no time to relax, and Grombold, the leader, knew this well. Once gathered near Winterfell, he ordered the attack towards the enemy base, closing off every possible escape route to ensure securing the next loot as well.

HOH's advance yielded the desired effects: at the edges of the rival castle's exits, every enemy attempt to approach Winterfell was nipped in the bud by Neik and his companions.

It was Neik himself who found himself fighting against formidable rivals time and again...

The HOH warrior, who along with his companions, covered the exits of the rivals, approached closer than intended to the enemy castle and found himself facing incredible warriors: the first clash was against Siregab59610, a powerful Inf opponent who perfectly countered Neik's Spears. However, thanks to his superiority in close combat, Neik managed to hold his own against him, and the fight was evenly matched... until the arrival of Problemka.

Problemka is one of the strongest adversaries among NW1's ranks, and he also prefers to fight with Inf in addition to his Bleeding formation. At this point, the two-against-one battle became a problem for Neik, but the HOH fighter managed to defeat the first rival and severely injure the second until his own comrades arrived to support him.

Few skirmishes were seen after the initial phases of the match, with NW1, after attempting but failing to overcome their rivals, realizing that it was impossible to counter HOH today. They could do nothing but accept their fate.

The match was won by... HOH!

MVP's

The best fighters were:

Grombold for HOH, in the final match of their alliance, it was he who took the reins and led them to the ultimate victory of this match. His work to block the rivals' exits was commendable.

Problemka for NW1, the powerful member tried every possible way to reverse the outcome of the encounter, but it wasn't enough.

"Today's match was a matter of pride to win, and I thank everyone for achieving this result. I am proud of all of you!" were Grombold's words at the end of round six and the season of Siege of Winterfell.

Despite the two defeats suffered, both at the hands of N3O, the final result of four victories and two defeats was a respectable historic achievement, although objectively, the members expected more, especially Neik, who today managed to hold his own against two opponents simultaneously, including a strong opponent like Problemka.

However, there was no time for regrets; on the horizon loomed an exciting season of Alliance Conquest, and the minimum result from it was qualification for Ultimate Conquest, aiming to replicate the spectacular third place achieved in the previous season. Would they make it?
