The CCS between NsE and JUA looked quite tipped in favour of NsE. Not only did NsE have more players show up on the map but they also seemed stronger in stats. the objective has been under Ur Nightmare's belt right from the start barring the first capture by HARLEM and a subsequent attack on Ur Nightmare that saw HARLEM reinstalled in the objective for all of 2 minutes. Let's take a look at how things have been going.

VeiN is a pretty strong player in his own right so imagine his surprise when his attack on Goddax cost him 120 million in battle rating and over 1.8 million dead troops. VeiN's predominantly Cavalry rally smashed into 16 million defensive troops in Goddax's castle and came back defeated. Do you think if the rally had been pure cavalry without the spear troops in it, it would have fared better?

Meanwhile, HARLEM, who seems to be the main rally lead for JUA decided to try a solo attack on Koruhh one of the rally fillers of NsE, well it didn't go as well as he hoped for sure. Sending a solo attack even when it's as big as 2 million is hardly going to fare well against 11 million defensive troops, HARLEM learnt the lesson the hard way. Koruhh did lose more troops compared to HARLEM but they were tier 1 and tier 2 troops which are easily replaceable.

Meanwhile, Phil2417 retaliated by rallying HARLEM and sending 4.4 million of his troops to meet their maker. But despite taking multiple losses it seemed HARLEM had an unlimited supply of troops that just kept coming. 😅This time Phil opted for the Sinara bleed setup and a full infantry rally against HARLEM's spear-inf formation.

Of course, after the success of his previous rally Phil went ham with another one at HARLEM with the same setup that gave him the win in the previous rally, surprisingly the rally wasn't as successful as the previous one. This time HARLEM changed his formation from spear-inf to inf-cav and as such wasn't countered by Phil, this made a big difference in the outcome, even so it was still a win for Phil just not as big of one as the previous rally.

Windstar is pretty well known in the game for his shenanigans; be it invading smaller, newer kingdoms or fighting players far bigger than him, he does it all with equal aplomb and style. He has earned himself quite a name in Westeros. And tanking this rally from StarrySunset shows us why he is as (in)famous as he is. StarrySunset is almost a maxed account, Windstar tanked a 5.8 million rally with 700k tier 5 troops in it and even though he lost the fight he caused enough damage that the rest of NsE players would think twice before rallying him again!

Well, the next person to learn about the perils of soloing (and getting countered) is PapaCarey. His 1.4 mil solo attack smashed into Th3Punisher's 12 million wall and pretty much half of the army was wiped.

Meanwhile Bonko, a player from OBV showed up on the map and decided to yolosolo Koruhh, who had already tanked an almost 2 million solo attack from HARLEM earlier, so a barely 1.2 million solo infantry attack that was heavily countered by Koruhh's cav front stood no chance. One would wonder why Bonko would randomly solo Koruhh but there's a good chance Bonko's only objective was to lose a small amount of troops and get some bravery tokens out of the event.

Another such random player to show up on the map was Zmaz who didn't even belong to any alliance apparently (he is an OBV player just like Bonko) He very unsuccessfully tanked a rally from TheOnlyKing, But I suspect just like Bonko he was only looking to lose some troops and gain bravery tokens. So, in that objective,he succeeded quite spectacularly.

As CCS passed its halfway point, the JUA players begin to port out of the map and the breakneck pace of PvP action comes to a sudden stop. After that the NsE players spent rest of the event having fun and taking turns killing each other's troops. This was definitely one of the more action-packed CCS events I have witnessed. It's quite impressive just how many rallies NsE was able to fire off in just 35 minutes of the event. Hopefully, I will have a chance to play with these players once again, and maybe next time I would be able to participate more actively. Fingers Crossed!
