As anyone does when appraising their account, one of the first questions you'll always pose to yourself is - how can I improve this account? What can be changed or bettered to make the account stronger, whether it's a general improvement of the account strength or improving it in a specific area for the benefit of your alliance. One such way to level up your account is through climbing the nobility ranks... though it's not cheap. Expensive and time consuming, I find myself pondering over whether to engage in the grueling task of jumping from 880 million power to 1.5 billion power to achieve the final nobility rank of Maester.

Well, let's break it down and see if it is ultimately 'worth' or not.

The first thing to consider is my starting power. At just shy of 880 million I'm over 600 million power away from hitting the target. How much is 600 million power really? Well I will only be doing minimal research, and dragon improvements gives negligible battle rating - so the vast majority of my growth in power is going to have to be from training troops. 🙄

The first port of call if I want to give it a go is maximise my training speed - then I can really see what sort of time it might take me to get there! So, all hospitals reduced to dust and rubble, and quickly built over with shiny new mints. These offer me a tidy 20% training speed each at level 25, and with refinement also tuned up with training speed I can really start piling up the training speed.

Just shy of 800% I manage to hit... not bad!

Currently sitting on 10.7 million troops, which amounts to around 300 million power... so I'm going to need to triple that number basically to reach my target. 30 million troops would certainly make me a very, very fat EldaS! 😳

A breakdown of my power, showing me a few areas, I could improve on to increase my battle rating. But again, it really all comes down to troops. Even if with research and in a few other places I managed to add on 15 or 20 million power, that still takes my total needed from 620 million to... 600 million. Not all that significant 😅

And here we come to the crux of it - what exactly it will cost me for this great endeavour. Even with my (almost) 800% training speed, I'm looking at 2677 days of speeds if i train exclusively tier 4 infantry, and 2000 days if I train exclusively tier 3 infantry!! 2677 and 2000 days' worth of speeds... not to mention the absolutely crazy amounts of res 😫I guess I shouldn't be too surprised... even doing some of the big elites and daily quests seem to sap the resources and speeds, and those generally only give a few million power. So, adding on 600 million power...

With all that worked out, what are the rewards even like? 5% increased fervor attack, and 10k army size (we'll ignore the 20 additional blue diamonds per day). Both total attack and army size are fantastic stats, and army size particularly is essential both for Player vs Player fighting and during events. Fervor attack with stats already so advanced is less important... 5% is always nice to have but is far from game changing.

So... worth it? Honestly, probably not!😅The wild amount of speeds and resources needed to get there is just too much, and it means you can't fight safely until it's finished - you certainly don't want to be a few million troops shy and then get blockaded and rallied while on fervor! Still, after changing up my mints and refinement I'll go against what my head says and give it a go... let's see how close I can get and how long it takes!!
