[GUIDE] Best skills for Yoshitsune | IK - Best Skills Series

Hello everyone, here is Tauriel once again with a new guide for you! This time I will be showing some of the best skills for Yoshitsune, and in which situations you should use them. Yoshitsune (Yoshi) is a staple immortal in the water team, he is easily obtainable from advanced summons, and has good synergy with the water team, specially Herald. Yoshi's ability is Sky Feather, it shoots 3 arrows in a row, and each will cause up to 410% damage to enemy units at random. If the target hit by an arrow has less than 50% troops, the damage will be increased by 50%. This will make Yoshi's ability work especially well with Herald's ability Glacier Incursion that will cause the opponent to have their defence reduced by up to 35%.

Yoshi is a strong physical attack damage deader, and will be of great help to increase your team damage output and damage type variation, because Merlin has good magic damage output, and if the opponent has strong magical defence, you will need another source of damage, and here is where Yoshi will shine.

There are two main builds for Yoshi, one he will be a supporting character for Merlin, in the other he will be the 2nd damage dealer of the team. The skill that I will focus on, are the ones in which he is the 2nd damage dealer, but I'll also mention the ones in which he takes the support role for Merlin. The very first ability that will be of great utility for Yoshi is either Anger, or Duel Master. Anger will provide up to 30% physical damage of your immortal troop in battle. Duel Master will provide up to 50% more Physical Attack to your immortal, and immunity to Wound, which will allow him to have a little more survivability against teams that make use of Genghis Khan.

The next great ability for Yoshi is Death Breath, this skill is obtained in a later stage of the game, at Tower of Knowledge level 39, this will cause about 75% physical damage and 75% magical damage every 6 seconds at level 8. This ability has enormous damage potential, and is one of the best combine with Anger or Duel Master, below is a report showing how good this ability works with Yoshi:

The other option for Yoshi is Chaotic Blade, which will also work in synergy with Anger or Duel Master. Chaotic Blade has a 40% chance of causing up to 150% damage to 3 random enemy units and bleed, which will cause about 75% damage every 3 seconds for 6 seconds.

The newest build uses Yoshi as a supporting character, and in this build he uses Assist, which will transfer all of the damage received by the other back row immortal (Merlin), and reduce the damage taken by Yoshi by up to 25%. To guarantee that Yoshi will resist the incoming damage transferred from Merlin, it is necessary for him to utilize Absolute Defence, which has up to 50% chance every 6 seconds of putting your immortal into a defensive status, that will completely block 3 instances of damage for a duration up to 6 seconds. And to complete the defensive combo, an aura can be added to the mix, some people enjoy utilizing Malice, which will reduce all your opponent's critical rate by up to 20%. This build has shown to be very effective even against some of the strongest teams in the game:

As I always like to tell, these are some of the baseline skills that you will need to use, but you must be able to adapt to changing circumstances, and change skills based on the composition of your opponent, no build is perfect against everything, you must always be prepared to change something based on what you will face on the battlefield.
