Hello everyone, here is Tauriel once again with a new guide for you! This time I will be showing some of the best skills for Attila, and in which situations you should use them. This guide is part of the "IK - Best Skills Series", last week I've covered Merlin, and if you wish to check it out, here it is: https://forum.gtarcade.com/topic/25646

Attila is considered one of the very best immortals in Infinity Kingdom, because of his powerful ability.

Wild Corrosion damage isn't very high, but its effect is fantastic, when maxed, it will have a 50% chance of silencing the targets in range, and if silenced, the target will not be able to recover energy or use skills! This is very important, because it hits the target right in front of Attila, and the target in the second row.

Water is a super versatile element, and Attila is part of each and every water formation, in this guide I will focus on the most popular water march, which is: Attila, Merlin, Herald and Yoshitsune. In this March the main damage dealer is Merlin, Yoshi and Attila will be the supporting damage dealers, and usually Herald will carry more defensive skills.

Now, the most utilized skill on Attila without a doubt is Adrenaline Rush, because melee immortals have higher attack speed, and Attila's Wild Corrosion has a game changing impact in every match. This ability's silence is in many circumstances the difference between a comfortable win and a catastrophic defeat.

Fighting master is another frequently utilized skill on Attila, specially before players reach late castle level 30s. This skill will assure that most control abilities and skills won't stop Attila from putting into action his amazing silence, which isn't only an tremendous defensive ability that stop powerful casts from your opponents, but also a very effective offensive ability against Earth marches that rely on Charles' shields.

These two are the most common abilities utilized on Attila, but once players reach castle level 40, and they manage to level their Tower of Knowledge to higher levels, many other abilities come into play:

  • Energy Burst: another way for Attila to increase the usage rate of Wild Corrosion.

  • Aura: is always a good addition for Attila because he isn't the main damage dealer, it is a viable move to make him as a supporting actor. For water team Coercion is a good addition, because this aura will weaken the enemy team, this will support your main damage dealer, Merlin to cause much more damage.
  • Fighting Will: this is a tremendous ability which will further increase the amount of crowd control of your team with root, which stops the opponent immortal from recovering energy and from doing normal attacks. Fighting Will also has very effective synergy with silence, which also stops the enemy immortal from gaining energy.
  • Malice: some people prefer to have a more defensive role for Attila, to buy time for Merlin to get the job done, but this is a more personal decision.
  • Oaken Guard and Resit: are two other options for those players that prefer to play Attila with a more defensive style.

Worthy mentions: Berserk for more sustain for the whole team. Life Link for more endurance for Attila.

Here is an example of Fighting Will potential, 18 seconds of root:

This is an example of how effective Adrenaline Rush can be against teams that rely on Charles:

All the skills suggested are great when utilized properly, but you need to able to discern which one will be the best option for your circumstances, if you are facing opponent with great burst damage, such as fire teams, maybe Resist and Oaken Guard are the best options, now if you are facing strong sustain earth teams, maybe more control will be more effective. Now is up to you to decide which role you will pick for your Attila! Offensive, control or defensive? Please share your feedback, and let me know if there is any special combination that you have used on Attila!

Have a great day!
