The fight for glory - Arena of Honor Season 6 Round 6

With the Autumn fully setting in now in Westeros, the Arena of Honor Season 6 is now getting past 1/3rd of it with Round 6 out of 15 approaching quickly. With 4 wins and 1 3rd place in the first 5 rounds, [N0X]LadyKnight is still up there in the glory rankings along with the strongest warriors of Westeros and as she expects the round to get harder and harder she's trying her best to obtain upgrades between the round that would help her get stronger and help her team more. As always, time flew by quickly and in before she noticed it was already Sunday morning and time for her to go to the Arena of Honor battlefield and meet with the team. Once she arrived there, everyone signed the pre-registration papers and once the team got registered everyone took a beverage and waited for the Old Gods to do their matchmaking.

Once the matchmaking got completed by the Old Gods, the battlefield doors opened and everyone entered the battlefield to see for which house they'll fight this time. Daenerys had the first draft this round and she decided to pick the Fantastic 10 team once again as the team never disappointed her in the prior matches. Once the Lannister's and Starks choose their teams too, everyone headed towards their House Clan Castles with the team heading together with Daenerys and the unsullied thru the southern desert towards the south-west forests where the Targaryen's Clan Castle was located. The travelling didn't take too long and once they arrived there everyone set their camps around the clan castle and last minute preparations started. 

As mostly always LadyKnight performed a quick scouting all over the battlefield to see what other houses are up to and the news that the scouts got back were worrisome. Both Lannister's and Starks had very strong teams fighting in their name, with warriors like Inu da One, Misha and unholyname ready to dominate the battlefield.

But the Fantastic10's ImperialRock, light Yagami and Menat were among the strongest too, so the round was announcing to be a very disputed one. With that in mind, the team's strategy had to be quickly adapted to the battlefield situation and new plans were quickly made and put in place, just in time as the horn announcing the start of the battle was heard all over the battlefield and the time for fighting started with everyone heading towards their strongholds to occupy them as quickly as possible.

Once the occupation time passed, LadyKnight as the team assigned construction engineer decided to go once again with military camps and aim for holding the City of Glory, since it worked so many times before it will work this time too, right? But before the fight for the city, there was the fight for altars that just started, and in an attempt to make their NPCs as strong as possible, the Fantastic 10 were trying to occupy as many of the early altars as possible. Besides helping with reinforcing her teammates, LadyKnight also decided to try and solo some targets out, without scouting.

Some of the attacks ended up with wins while some of them hit brick walls and after a few very unsuccessful attacks, her medics decided to go on strike, so she had to mostly stop the solos and instead help more with reinforcements. While keep delivering very good reinforcements and the team managing to secure quite a few altars all over the battlefield, her fingers were getting itchy and she decided to try some more solos, this time with proper scouting first.

Despite managing to secure quite some altars, the team was still on the 2nd place in terms of points as the enemy decided to go with trading posts and as the time for the City of Glory to open was approaching, it was time for them to put aside the fight for altars and focus on the city as it was their chance to win this round.

Once the city opened, ImperialRock took up to the challenge and quickly kicked the neutral NPCs from the city with a solo attack and then everyone in the team reinforced and braced for impact. And the impact didn't let them wait, as Starks and Lannister's quickly made an alliance and started rallies to try and stop House Targaryen from winning. Inu da One, Misha and unholyname quickly assembled their rallies, they got quickly filled and in a matter of minutes they were already at the City of Glory vale, ready to challenge ImperialRock. Despite having more than 10 million troops under his command, the vale where the City of Glory was located was quite narrow and only like 6 million troops were able to fight at once for defenders while the attackers had room to hit with their rallies in quick sequence. Once the rallies started hitting you could hear the valyrian steel weapons clashing from the frozen north, soldiers were giving their life on both sides and the snow around the city was quickly turning red and the troops were fighting on top of what once were their brothers in arms. ImperialRock was leading the troops valiantly and despite winning the rallies, each rally was chipping the defensive forces bit by bit, but the team was always ready to replace the dead troops with fresh reinforcements. After tens of minutes of intense battle, the team managed to secure the City of Glory with a few minutes left to fight and with it they basically managed to overcome yet another very hard round.

Despite what score shows, the round was a very hard one for the team, but they played extremely well as they always do and managed to win once again and not only that but they managed to secure 48 fame points and offset a bit of the points they lost on the 4th round when they got 3rd place. Everyone left to their homebases with promises to meet again in 2 weeks for another round. Will they be able to keep the wins coming and maybe climb some more rankings? Time will tell.
