Arena of Honor | Season 6 Round 2 | Trust the Process

Season 6 of Arena of Honor was finally here.

After a successful fifth season, Rale and Beha were entering the new season together once again, wearing the colors of the SFu team. The team itself was very similar to the one they had played with before, made up mostly of familiar faces, friends, and players who already knew each other well.

The expectations were the same as always. They wanted to fight hard, compete for the top positions, and most importantly, enjoy the game together.

For Rale, Season 6 was another new beginning. After everything that had happened during the previous season, from playing with different random teams to returning to the SFu roster, he was once again where he wanted to be — surrounded by friends and teammates he knew and trusted.

Beha was there too, and after everything they had already experienced together, both of them were looking forward to another season of battles, victories, unexpected situations, and plenty of fun.

Nobody knew what Season 6 would bring.

But one thing was certain.

SFu was ready for another Arena of Honor journey.

This was Rale's first round of the new season, while for everyone else it was already their second round. Because of other commitments, Rale had missed the first one, but he immediately found himself back in the roster for the second round of Season 6.

The team briefly greeted each other and joked around before the match started. Rale simply said:

"I'm back "

Everyone was eagerly waiting to see who their opponents would be.

The team was assigned to House Stark, while the other two main Houses with real players were House Lannister, with HOH THEviking, BDR Ponters, and others, and House Targaryen, with the WxD team led by Altiso, tmoe, and others.

The other three Houses, as you already know, were the NPC mirror teams. However, this time in Season 6, they were noticeably stronger and more focused.

Demon and Dark Pegasus were leading the team as usual, with Rale as the support and the man responsible for the tasks, while Beha was the strength of the team and the main attacker.

The Strongholds did not bring much this time. All three teams decided to use Trading Posts, because the NPC teams were now much stronger, and fighting for their Clan Houses would be pointless and would cost the teams too much.

All three real-player Houses understood this and played in a similar way, focusing on Altars, Dragon Pits, and later Glory City.

For Rale, this meant good reinforcement, stealing Altars, and constantly bothering the opponents with a lot of spam attacks.

For Beha, on the other hand, it meant hunting down opponents and constantly fighting.

The first ten minutes were dominated by the Targaryens. The WxD group controlled the map, and our team was a little worried about Altisio because they knew he had once been a very strong account.

Everyone on the team thought, "Man, we really didn't get lucky with WxD. We won't have a chance at Glory."

Demon simply added:

"We won't even try. Let's focus on the Altars of the Maidens and later on the Dragon Pits."

Meanwhile, Beha was just waiting for his chance to attack and was already fighting a big battle on the other side of the map against HOH THEviking and BDR Ponters.

Nobody was capturing Towers or Catapults, something that had not happened for who knows how long. The NPC teams were also holding their own and taking part in attacks on different Altars across the map, which was controlled by the WxD Targaryen team.

The Lannisters were already far behind at that point, even though they had several very strong players. The lack of coordination probably made the difference, and it was possible that they were playing together for the first time in this lineup.

Our Starks were in second place.

Glory City was, of course, captured by WxD Altisio. There were no scouts and no attempts by the Starks or Lannisters to attack the Center. Our team had not given up, but the idea was not to attack Glory City.

However, time was running out. First place was getting further and further away.

Rale could not just sit back and do nothing. He wanted to take something.

Something that could change the rest of the match.

"Glory City is the only solution," Rale thought to himself. "I'm going to scout it."

And, surprisingly, Altisio had Infantry inside, but without the top Bleed synergy commanders, Jaqen and Vorian.

"Why wouldn't Beha attack this?" he quietly said to himself.

He immediately told Beha:

"Try the Center solo a few times and see what happens."

Beha did exactly that. He set up a Cavalry Female synergy and attacked once, then a second time, then a third time. Each time the report was similar: he was losing, but he was killing a lot of troops inside because Altisio had strong reinforcements.

Then came the message:

"GLORY CITY NOW. Trust me, we have a chance."

Rale immediately started a rally. Everyone was surprised because this was not the plan, but they still sent their troops. They trusted the process.

1... 2... 3... and BOOM!

Beha was inside.

Rale immediately said:

"Let's reinforce until the end and focus only on this."

Suddenly, the two men who had been given their roles, Rale and Beha, became the hidden leaders of the team. But because the whole team was built around a strong team atmosphere, everyone was ready to do their job, regardless of who had taken the lead at that moment.

Beha was inside Glory City. The comeback was close. They just had to survive another six or seven minutes of constant attacks from the WxD group.

The lucky thing was that their main players were Infantry or Cavalry, but they were not strong enough to beat Beha. They were persistent, but they were not a real threat to the SFu team.

The biggest concern was the strong Spear player from House Lannister, HOH THEviking.

However, for some reason, none of his rallies on Glory City ever came.

The team did not end up facing their greatest threat, and even managed to secure a convincing victory in the end.

One small step had helped start the comeback.

Rale could not hide his happiness. He even cried tears of joy and was proud of the whole team. As already mentioned, he believed in the comeback process, but most of all, he believed in his good friend Beha.

In the end, it was another great team victory for SFu.

The MVP of the match was Beha. His performance in Glory City, especially after successfully taking the Center and then surviving wave after wave of attacks, was the key moment of the comeback. But this was still a victory created by the whole team.

For Rale, this match was something special. He had started the game simply doing his job, supporting the team and looking for opportunities, but in the most important moment, he saw an opportunity and acted on it.

Seeing Beha take Glory City after those first failed attempts made him incredibly happy. Rale was especially proud because he had trusted his friend and believed that the comeback was possible when it seemed that first place was already too far away.

Season 6 had just started, and SFu had already shown that giving up was not part of their plan.

And for Rale, there was no better way to return to the new season.
