Today I will take you back to one of the most anticipated weeks of the whole year, a Glorious Battle week. As the alliance BeB enjoys playing together in most of the events, Glorious Battle happens to be the most favourite cross-server event for the majority of the members. For Lux herself, this was the first Glorious Battle in the BeB alliance, so she was extremely excited to test her war stats as well as to see how she blends with the rest of the team, considering the fact that there are not many bow players in the alliance overall. Even before the event started, long before, Lux had started to build the troops specifically for the event. Besides bow troops, she had been training many cavs and spears for the extra merit points, but also to clear her account of non-bow troops since it’s a well-known fact that bow players should remain pure bows.

As the registration had started, there were many different options to choose from: Super League, A League, or B League. Choosing Super League would mean being in a faction with extremely strong alliances where the majority of our members would just be in logistics mode from the very beginning, losing the opportunity for the Elimination awards and any possible merit. A League seemed very promising, considering the fact that BeB is an alliance with almost 80 billion power. However, honestly, a lot of our members would not be able to take it, so B League was the right option for us. Thus far, Lux, being the younger player, had never really played Glorious Battle in offensive nor defensive mode. She was always relying on logistics since she was aware her account was not quite ready just yet. This time it was different. She had 15 million troops, decent bow attack/health/defense stats, and quite good weapons for each bow commander. She knew she would start as a logistics player, but after that anything was possible.

Finally, the day had come, the long-awaited event had started! The game had assigned BeB to the Longreach Faction together with a few other alliances. One of them was PHX, our former SoW enemies. Knowing how strong they were, everyone was very pleased to play together. So it begins... As the majority of the members waited for the reset, Lux included, the council gave an order for trade. Everyone was happily trading, waiting for the new cities to open. The other two factions seemed overall weaker; however, they both had representative members from NBe and UTB, so we knew right away this was not going to be an easy week.

As the buildings were opening one by one, the Longreach Faction was taking them quickly and easily, which placed us on top of the ranking list. Lux was balancing between logistics and offensive mode, trying to collect the points. However, she knew that once the actual fights started, it was not going to be as easy. So as another day had passed by and the opportunity for attacks opened, we started having our first battles. The first one to declare war was the Longreach Faction. They had declared battles for the Military City and the Merchant City almost at the same time. Finally! Lux thought, finally she would be able to gear up in her war outfit and test her current commander lineup. As everyone else got ready, so did Lux, as she sent four deployments into both cities, patiently waiting for the battles to start.

Five minutes had passed, then ten minutes too. Alright, they are just sending the armies now, Lux was thinking, as her armies were already stationed in the castles. However, unfortunately, only a few brave players from the Longreach Faction were sent. They encountered the "early birds" of the Longreach Faction who came to the cities as soon as the battles were announced. All of the Shadow Faction players were eliminated quickly, which allowed the Longreach Faction to keep the first position. It’s fine, Lux was thinking, there will be more battles for her to get into some PvP encounters. All she was able to do was release a big sigh and change to logistics mode yet again. The rest of the members were also a little frustrated as only three or four players got some merit and Elimination Rush points.

The new day had dawned on us and, voila, this time it was the Tempest Faction who challenged the Longreach Faction. Yaaaay, everyone cheered, let’s go! Now Tempest Faction had BxS and BoW players, so we did know they wouldn't go down without a fight. Here we go again! As Lux yet again changed her mode from logistics to offensive, she was even more hopeful for some proper combat fights.

Let’s gooo! Shadow Faction attacked the Military City near Glorious City with full force. Even our strongest players were falling against a few max accounts. Lux, just like the rest, kept on sending her best bow setup followed by the T5 and T4 bowmen troops, but every time it would result in a defeat. Oh well, at least some merit, she was thinking as she used all the possible healing speed-ups for the rest of the survivors. Shadow Faction really needed this city, and the reinforcements were pouring in like crazy. Lux was healing and sending new troops, but the enemy was very strong. The enemy this time had very strong inf accounts, and it was hard for the Longreach players. One by one they would come, but within seconds they would have been eliminated. Now the color of the building was going pink too after almost being green. However, the Longreach Faction was not giving up. There were only six minutes left, and the forces were equal. Longreach Faction really needed a miracle, but what could have happened in only six minutes? Oh goodness, everyone was nervous and on edge.

And a miracle indeed happened! A miracle named VladanSRB!

As time was passing by, VladanSRB had arrived at Fortress 6, making it impossible for the enemy to win this one. VladanSRB was a great event player with a lot of experience. He even told Lux how to make the setup and what buffs to activate. Additionally, Longreach Faction had PeterPan from PhX, who was the strongest player in the whole faction. His total power was over 170M, and when he would appear in the queue, even the strongest enemies would turn away. Overall, BeB was working well with PHX, and everyone was going according to plan. Unlike in previous seasons, in just two days Lux managed to collect all contribution points and the majority of the Elimination ones. Even she was in shock. Probably the first time she was performing so well with the eliminations. She did lose around 3M T4 so far, and her resources were depleted, but there was still a long way to go. Everyone in BeB was extra motivated, and everyone was showing up for the fight. The Glorious City is a few days away, and the fight for it will be everything but easy.
