Lory had just finished helping some teammates on a mission. It had been a fairly simple and flawlessly executed mission, rallying a target that some of her teammates couldn't finish solo. Lory was proud of what had just happened, and in the calm that follows a battle, she began studying her reports. She certainly didn't expect that the teammates she had helped moments earlier to give her such a nice gift. What kind of gift? Well, it was pretty obvious that the best gift anyone could give Lory was a bubble-less castle with lots of spear troops inside.

And then, in the game chat, a link to a castle appeared, followed by a report from a scout.

It was a really interesting target, Lory thought.

Examining the troops and the formation, it seemed like it could be defeated by her infantry. However, even though Lory was already starting to prepare, a glance at the server disturbed her quite a bit. She had accepted the assignment, but she hadn't yet assessed the dangers, and in fact, that server featured quite a few.

They were all very strong players, and some of the names seriously gave her the creeps. Beha, for example, was just one of many players who could have destroyed her with a single hit.

Yes, it was no joke. The gift was very welcome, yes, but she had to go get it. A bit like a nice present with a bow left by the postman on the neighbor's ferocious dog's kennel. Lory knew it wasn't easy, but she didn't want to refuse such a gesture, much less display a cowardice that wasn't typical of her. So she prepared for what she had to do. First, the troops had to be well hidden in advance; second, the speed-ups had to be ready for rapid use; and finally, the troop count had to be such as to allow for as few attacks as possible. One or two at most; exceeding that number meant giving the enemy more chances to organize and strike. Everything had to be executed with maximum precision and speed.

If the experience she'd had shortly before had been rather bold and calm, this was the tense, cooperative situation for Lory. She was used to it, yes, but you never really got used to the adrenaline rush of hunting, and that was the best part for her. Finally ready, she jumped. Landing on the K226 server, she immediately felt the tension rise. The castle without a bubble was still there. What to do? Attack or check first? The scout she'd run earlier might have already raised some alarm, but running a second one just to be safe and check for reinforcements was too risky. She had to attack, and now.

The troops were already ready, but despite being positioned quite far from the target, she still felt very exposed. Her breath caught for a fleeting moment, and immediately after sending her troops out, she didn't take her eyes off her castle for a single moment. A leap. An arrow. Whatever had moved in her direction had to know. It took the troops only a second to reach the castle; if it had been reinforced, she wouldn't even have been able to recall them; the die was cast. The battle raged on for what seemed like an eternity. Lory watched her infantry's health drop slightly, but not too much. This reassured her slightly. The small bar at the bottom showed a successful attack, but she couldn't look at the reports; seconds were truly crucial in this case.

As soon as the troops began returning, Lory quickly recalled them. The treatment upon their return was rather sketchy, and the time between arrival and departure was truly mere seconds. It almost felt like a Formula 1 pit stop.

The second attack came quickly, and once again, like before, Lory didn't look at the target. She checked the situation around her, and when the small icon of the captured lord finally appeared at the bottom, Lory breathed a small sigh of relief. Now all she had to do was get her troops back as quickly as possible and get out of there. The troops ran back as quickly as if they were being chased, and then they were off! Safe! Lory didn't want to stay there even a second longer. She released the lord immediately and jumped somewhere else, much further away. Now that she was finally safe, she could look at and study her reports.

The first strike had been truly fantastic! Lory was truly amazed at the damage done. She had almost captured the lord in one hit! She checked the troops hit more closely and understood the reason for the damage. Aside from the disorganized wall and the rebel gear, the troops had a lot of T1s.

Mixed for each type, that had therefore significantly affected the number of troops killed. If the enthusiasm of the strike had initially exhilarated her a little, studying the report brought her back to reality. The path to capturing so many troops in the first hit There was still a long way to go. Lory, however, couldn't help but be more than satisfied with the attacks and the credit she'd received.

That gift had been very much appreciated, and as everyone knows, it's never wise to refuse a gift, and even the proverb says: don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Deep down, Lory thought to herself, "I hope the next gift is on a hamster's bed."
