It was a very busy time for Lady Lory. The All Out War event was underway, and many players from other alliances had requested hospitality in her alliance to play together, so they had split into two alliances depending on their preferred time. Lady Lory, currently under the name Farm07, had ended up in the Alts' alliance. Many other guests had also ended up there, and one of them, Boness, asked for help with a target one evening. Lory was quite surprised that Boness was also a hunter, and to be honest, she didn't even know his formation. Intrigued by the unusual request for help, she immediately understood the situation. Boness had attacked a very large castle on a server, perhaps too large.

It was a Bow castle, and although it didn't have a particularly strong wall formation, the number of troops was very high and had caused a lot of damage to her new companion.

Boness was also an infantryman, and Lory liked that.

Every time she encountered infantry out in the open or among her alliance comrades, it was like meeting a brother, a blood relative who knew the ins and outs of those troops well. Boness used bleed infantry just like Lory, but he didn't yet have Vorian and Daeron. His attacks had cost him dearly, and with each hit he had lost hundreds of thousands of t5s, bringing him after two attacks to a state that was no longer optimal for him, so he asked for help to finish that target. Lory, seeing the situation, was very happy to jump to her comrade's aid, but having realized that the bows were the main obstacle, she said, "I don't think it's a good idea to solo that castle." In fact, the first thing Lory also thought of was to reduce the castle's troops and let Boness finish the rest, but it didn't make much sense.

A rally was the ideal solution. Of course, the only unknown was the bubble. A five-minute wait for the rally was a risk they knew very well, but not only that, in that case there was also the risk of repercussions from the server. If they reacted, would there be more exposed players, and how many of them were zero castles like Lory? Many unknowns and doubts kept the tension quite high. The server was K108, one of the main EdF servers that Lory knew very well; she had already encountered them in past events, and one of them in particular was very strong and feared, Subrio, but fortunately he wasn't there. "One less danger" thought Lory, breathing a sigh of relief. Now the rally could begin with only one main doubt: would the bubble appear or not?

Lory's formation was a bit stronger than boness's, and a rally, even if not completely full, had to be enough. Boness still had a lot of troops with him, so he approached Lory's rally from a long way away to avoid being found.

Much to Lory's surprise, another companion AGAMENNON, one of those new guests I mentioned earlier, joined Lory's rally. "How nice, him too!" thought Lory and was truly pleased to see new companions entering the world of hunters; it was like seeing new faces at a party. AGAMENNON, in this case, wasn't an infantryman like Boness and Lory, but a main cavalryman.

However, he had enough infantry to help them on their mission. Now they were like the Three Musketeers, ready to strike that difficult castle. All three watched the countdown very attentively, and when the seconds finally reached their end, their hearts began to beat faster. 3-2-1, go! The rally began its slow, inexorable journey towards the castle. The slowness of the infantrymen was something Lory just couldn't stand. While speed-ups were used in large numbers during solo events, things were a little different for a rally. Rally speed-ups were expensive and rare, and had to be used very sparingly only in special events. However, we know well how anxious Lory is, and that rally was going really slowly, 20 seconds of road seemed like an eternity to her. So she used two small speed ups to accelerate the infantry's too-relaxed pace. And finally the castle was hit. The rally had inflicted very high damage on the enemy troops, the bows had almost all been wiped out, even hitting the t5 bows.

"Great!" thought Lory satisfied and immediately checked how many troops remained in the castle, especially since the lord hadn't been captured yet.

Only 1.6 million troops inside, now Boness could finish his mission. Lady Lory jumped away from the war zone and calmly observed Boness's final blow. Lory was happy to have helped her new comrades, she almost felt like a protector and a veteran warrior at the same time. Boness was finally able to strike with one last blow the castle that had wounded him so previously. He was certainly satisfied with that conclusion, the lord was now captured and his mission accomplished.

Lory returned to studying her reports, calmly satisfied with her actions and her infantry. It had been nice to be able to help new members; even if they were just passing guests, they were still comrades in battle. The act of completing missions together made a group much more cohesive, and the beauty of the game lies precisely in sharing these moments, which can also lead to the formation of new friendships.

In fact, a few minutes later, the very comrades she had helped gave her a gift. But that's another story... ;)
