It is Summer in Westeros, everyone enjoying their vacations in Essos but for [N0X[Shado it's time for the 14th round of the Arena of Honor's 5th season. After him and the team suffered a crushing defeat in the 12th round, they managed to recover and win the 13th round unfortunately without conquering the City of Glory, so if they want any chance at the Glory King rank at the end of the season they have to win the last 2 rounds at any cost. Shado used the little time he had to try and improve his stats and try to adapt his playstyle to the team, so he'll be as helpful as possible in the upcoming round. Time flew by quickly and it was already Sunday evening and time for him to head to the Arena of Honor battlefield to meet with the team and register for the round. As soon as he arrived there, he signed the pre-registration papers and once everyone did that, the team got registered by the captain and everyone waited patiently for the matchmaking to be done by the Old Gods, with hopes on not getting matched with insanely strong teams again.

As the matchmaking only takes a few minutes it didn't take long for it to be completed and once the battlefield doors opened everyone stepped inside to see which house they going to choose them this time. Shado's team was chosen by Daenerys this time, to fight for House Targaryen and together with her they all went to the South-West forests of the battlefield towards the House Targaryen's Clan Castle.

Once they arrived there, everyone set camp around the castle and started doing the last minutes preparations. Shado used a few of those minutes to send spies to the Starks and Lannister's and see who they invited to fight for them.

Surprise, the team was facing the NBe team led by Aroga for the 3rd time now, the score between teams is 1-1 so this round will be decisive, the team will have to do anything in their power to win. The team invited by the Lannister's wasn't weak at all so the round was announcing extremely disputed once again. The time for strategies was over as the battle started, and strongholds dropped their bubble, so everyone rushed to occupy them as quickly as possible and start the points generation.

Despite winning with trading posts on 12th round, the team decided to once again change their strategy and go back to military camps as they needed the City of Glory to max their fame points, so they were decided to risk everything for it. But before the city fight there was much else to do, especially now that the altars started opening and as always, the team was in dire need to get as many as they can. Beside reinforcing the strongest warriors in his team, Shado also decided to go solo for some altars being aware that it will probably end up in a disaster.

As he expected some of them ended up with a massacre but some of the attacks were successful and they were actually helping the team get altars, so Shado didn't mind the severe loses. As the battle progresses, Shado noticed that the Lannister's were trying to win using the same strategy they used in the prior round of building trading posts on all the 24 strongholds and focusing on keeping altar of maidens.

The team tried to stop them from keeping the maidens but with so many altars all over the battlefield and with them only needing 3 of them to max the output of trading posts, they knew the only chance at winning this round was holding the City of Glory and as the opening time was drawing close, all the team decided to focus on it.

The team decided to not take part on the wave of solos the other 2 houses made to take the initial occupation on the city and instead they sent their strongest spear warrior, Wind5, to organize a rally and try to take the city like that.

The rally was quickly reinforced by the other team members and within seconds it was already marching towards the City of Glory. Once it arrived there, it instantly challenged the Lannister's to a fight and a battle like never seen before in Westeros emerged between the 2 rallies. Troops were falling by millions on both sides turning the snow around the castle red and with every second passing the tip of the scale was leaning towards Wind5 and House Targaryen.

While the battle was devasting for both sides, taking the city was the easier part, defending 'it will be a complete other story. It didn't take more than a few seconds for the other houses to send their rally leaders on the battlefield to try and end House Targaryen's occupation time.

The rallies were filled at lightning speed and within minutes they were already at the city gates ready to challenge Wind5 and his reinforcements.

If the first battle looked epic, the ones to follow were beyond that, defending against 3 well timed rallies wasn't an easy task for the reinforcers and it took everything in their power to hold the line against this wave or rallies and the other waves that kept hitting every minute or so for the whole duration of occupation time.

The team emerged victorious over the City of Glory but this round, that was barely enough to take the lead with a bit of points ahead. The team still had to fight every second for every altar to top the Lannister's pulling ahead, the whole round was fought on their toes and the Lannister's and Targaryen's kept going back and forth on the 1st place.

Once again, the team's dedication and relentless fighting felt on the battlefield, and they managed to win this round by a very small margin. It was one of the most disputed round Shado fought and he couldn't be happier with the result. With one round left, can he and the team still get to the Glory King rank? Chances are very slim but they still there so we'll see. See you all on the battlefield!
