PhoeniX reporting: AOW finale [III] vs [III]

This is the second and final part about [III] alliance performance in All Out War

This is where we stopped last time

So it is clear that Yellow [III] and Orange [III] took the leadership in the event from the very beginning.

It happened because of our firm activity, we had great coordination, and we just pushed hard.

But it was not an easy ride for each of us. For Yellow, it may be harder than for Orange, honestly. Yellow was in need of dealing with the insane personal power of MisterX. You look at the battlefield log, and his name is just everywhere. He is the top 1 eliminator of the battlefield and in the Frost function, a total monster who targets everyone.

And it wasn’t just him. A few strong ones from the purple factions led by Al3XAND3R also showed up. They are the top 2 eliminators of the battlefield, so you can imagine the pressure. Yellow was just deflecting blows from all sides, losing troops, and trying not to lose their minds while we were positioning ourselves.

In the same way, we had to do some map politics on our side. We pay some gesture of respect to a Shadow faction so they are not party killers for them. We really didn’t want them dropping random declarations or ruining our setup, so we wanted them to let them have a war against the combined forces of Red and Green. So with our orange blessing, they entered the inner square between Red and Green. We was exited to watch them fight. They are doing their best against two factions at the same time, and we were willing to help them to have 3rd place, so we gave them an additional castle to overcome the frost penalty. Down in the zone, Frost was dominated by Yellow from the city perspective, but it was not free from fights with MisterX and purple battle enthusiasts. That expansion of Yellow [III] and our giveaway to Shadow made us orange second-placed on the leaderboard. But our passion to be first-placed was still very high, we didn't want to sit on the second spot for long.

So, skipping the boring part of taking neutral cities without contest. Nobody wants to read about capturing empty towns where nothing happens.

We as Orange [III] met our Yellow [III] in the middle under the walls of Twin Dragon City. As you remember from the first part of my story, we had a bit better ally than Yellow. This meant we had more hands clicking declarations in the middle city. When the protection timer dropped, it was just total chaos on voice comms. Everyone was staring at the screen. That worked out, and we were the first and were rewarded with first capture points. It is a lot of points, and that allowed us to be first placed on the map. But will it last long? That was the main question in our heads.

Of course, there was no immediate declaration from Yellow as we had a gentleman's agreement.

We decided to pick a comfort time for each of us and show our best to each other. Just a clean showdown between brothers. I am not as aware of what the Yellow plan was as I am of Orange, but we started to define a strategy against our brothers in arms.

We dedicated our strongest and fastest Cav players to attack their Heal wagons and solo players on march. This was a crucial move. Our guys were catching them completely exposed on the roads, so it broke their harmony entirely and put them under certain tilt. You could feel the frustration building up on their side. Then we made a full lords ass-kicking rally which was led by our experienced commander Spirra. When Spirra opens a rally, you know someone is going to have a bad day. With this rally, we were eliminating enemy top performers such as Серый орден, LilyaF—who is top 3 Prince ranking btw, a very dangerous player, and also R a v e N, BAR, and a few others. It was just a brutal collision of stats and steel in the center. We had rotation and healers to support us also. We had a small benefit of recreating from the Middle city while the barracks were standing, so our recovery loop was very short for some time.

We were putting fresh troops back into the meat grinder instantly.

So our yellow brothers realized they are losing the war of attrition and decided to apply regular snowball tactics to us.

They started to collect as many troops as possible from all their players. They wanted to overcroud us on the municipal building by numbers. But they failed because of two facts.

First, the fact that we were not so exposed by war with MisterX and AL3XAND3R, so our morale and rosters were fresh. Second, the fact that we were working with their troops on the march, hitting them with Cav constantly, so they did not have the needed numbers arriving at the same time.

The final battle inside the municipal building was pure madness. Red marching lines were crossing everywhere on the map, frames were dropping, and hospitals were filling up to the maximum limit in seconds. It was bloody and fun! But in the end, we managed to defend the Twin Dragon City and hold our ground. And the deal was that whoever won this fight would win the event. It is a shared, well-deserved victory for all our players who took first and second places on the battle map! The crown stays orange, but GG to our Yellow brothers for an incredible fight.

Will not be bothering you with a lot of statistics; I will just tell you for myself

It is simple; I started on the K6 seven years ago and was not spending the seven-pointed stars for all this time, and have something like 36 of them left after 750 stars purchase. And don't say I tricked you. All for real ;-)
