A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 126 (The Kingdom War Arrived in K163)

Beneath a cloudy sky and a cold wind that swept across the great moorlands of Kingdom K163, our Lord remained in his castle, thoughtful and somewhat discouraged. The silent surroundings and the weather seemed to accompany his gloomy mood.
After a battle that he had lost because of his own mistake, a poor decision that left him deeply disappointed in himself, it would also become another great lesson for him.
But time shows no mercy, and neither do the great wars of Westeros, for after a week, a great calamity arrived, an event where blood flows through the hills and waters of every kingdom...
“The Kingdom War has arrived...” our Lord said as he looked at the announcement in the letters delivered to him, with disappointment.
His friends came to visit him while he was still debating whether to participate, because although it was exciting, most of the time it was a very difficult battle, and helping the kingdom achieve victory was a matter far beyond his own capabilities.
“Come on, let's go. Maybe we'll have some luck. Don't feel bad about past mistakes,” they said, joking and laughing as they encouraged him.
“What would I do without you...” he thought.

This time, as every year, since the last schedule was announced, the arrival of the “Three-Way Match” would finally be announced.
And what makes this different from the rest?
This time, three kingdoms (K163 – K396 – K21) would face each other. It would no longer be the classic 1 vs 1 between only two kingdoms. It was a three-way competition where you had to be careful that someone strong did not burn your castle while you were burning another enemy's castle.
Let us remember that KvK (Kingdom War) is not a battle of reckless attacks. It is a battle where every aggressive move must be made with great caution and careful consideration, anticipating possible tragedies in order to avoid them.
Enemy scouting, battlefield analysis, kingdom jump timing, and additional factors all had to be taken into account for this difficult struggle.

As the battle began, DarkSama would launch the first attack. Since very strong enemies had been spotted on the battlefield, they had to proceed with caution. There was an enemy named NiGHT KING from K396, and judging by his equipment and commanders, he was clearly very powerful, moving alongside his battle companions under his protection.
But there would also be the warriors of Kingdom K21, who, although they had Lords, showed no signs of having anyone particularly strong among them.
At first glance, it was clear that he specialized in the Cavalry formation. If he caught our Lord with the Blue Dragon skill, which paralyzes a target and prevents the use of teleportation, he would be finished through a series of rallies.
It was extremely dangerous...
Our Lord preferred to attack at dawn, since the enemy was alert for now, and because they were hidden throughout the kingdom, they would wait for them to lower their guard, as they seemed to be the strongest ones there.

But one of his friends made a move. DarkSama became impatient when he saw enemies without shields as well...
This Kingdom War had a particular feature: lost troops would be recovered, so most Lords would fight with complete confidence.
This explained why DarkSama was so eager. He became impatient and began attacking some other Lords who were asleep and whose castle truces had expired.

His strength and formation had improved greatly, as he had recently been present in many battles. It was as if his period of rest had ended, and now he was the one taking the initiative in battle.
Following our Lord's advice, who had recommended that he use his old formation, the “hybrid” one, consisting of an Enzo and Jaime formation, along with a small female synergy of three.
It was the best setup he could have to improve quickly, so that was now his goal. Although he still had a long way to go, he already had a clear objective.
Seeing that DarkSama had experience from previous battles and had not grown rusty, our Lord went to rest, activating his truce because he hoped there would be better opportunities for attack the next day, leaving QUEEN awake.
“Fight carefully, do not rush. The enemy from Kingdom K396 is very powerful,” he told them before leaving.
But the next day...

An emergency message would arrive from QUEEN:
“There was a problem. DarkSama was burned. The enemy from K396 wiped out his troops, but fortunately they will revive the next day. However, that leaves him out of combat, so I am also withdrawing. I don't have a chance. Try to fight carefully, my friend.”
Our Lord was stunned. He knew the enemy was strong, but he had not realized just how strong they were. He quickly went to check the alliance reports and saw that the enemy was not only strong.

He was a demon...
He had a complete Cavalry formation and the synergy that worked best with it, the female lineup with Commander Brian, who in many aspects replaces Leila as support. Seeing that he had defeated DarkSama in a single strike, something similar could also happen to him, so he would have to be extremely cautious.
In truth, our Lord did not care much about winning the KvK. Aside from the interest in first place, which was already occupied by the enemy who had defeated DarkSama, there was no other motivation. Perhaps the only interest was reaching a higher rank so as not to finish too poorly, and, if possible, taking revenge by killing some enemy troops.

They were located precisely in the local kingdom, K163, so our Lord would move to K396, hoping to find someone who had lost their shield. He would remain waiting.
But at the same time, he would always keep an eye on the main enemy...

They would be reinforcing the King's Landing castle from many positions, and because of this he also found that, unlike at the beginning, not many were truly active.
It was a difficult way to fight, but fortunately a few days had already passed...

In his kingdom, our Lord managed to find some Lords from his own alliance who had lost their truce. This was taken advantage of, eliminating enemies.
As many enemies as possible were eliminated, although it was nothing compared to what his friend had lost against their champion...
Our Lord had no choice but to accept reality. The enemy was completely powerful and could also defeat him, so he was left to be satisfied with what he had managed to obtain.
Thus, until the end, when there was little time left before the Kingdom War ended, the MSH alliance would claim victory and take control of the castles.
No one left with a bitter feeling, because aside from the defeat, Sama would see the shortcomings that his account still had and what he still needed to improve.

As a Result;
Kingdom K396 would achieve total victory in the Kingdom War, with our Lord's kingdom, K163, taking second place, leaving Kingdom K21 as the loser, as it did not have Lords willing to engage in battle.
The title of best war Lord and highest number of kills would go to NiGHT KING, due to his great strength, which allowed him to defeat those who rose against him and take control of King's Landing in our Lord's kingdom.
As a Recommendation;
In Kingdom War, it is always good to stay hidden and analyze the enemies and their formations if they take castles, so as not to risk being struck down as happened to our companion DarkSama.
That would be all for this week!
Until next time!
