📘 Prologue - Two Banners in the Same Storm
In Kingdom 24, every day might seem calm until a marching army appeared on the horizon. For the alliances, this was a moment requiring absolute vigilance, as the slightest error could cost hundreds of millions in power.
Among them, RRH had earned a terrifying reputation. The alliance favored a strategy of lightning-fast, precise, and deliberate ambushes. Every offensive was meticulously planned down to the last detail even factoring in a potential uprising by the defeated populace leaving their adversaries with virtually no chance to turn the tide.

Opposite them, WAK was also one of the kingdom’s respected alliances. Battle-hardened, the alliance members had proven their worth by standing firm so much so that they successfully defended their position against anyone attempting to dislodge them.
Into the heart of this rivalry, two horsemen would soon arrive.

Kany, a member of the RRH alliance and a cavalry specialist, had made a name for himself as a formidable force in Kingdom 24. Every move he made was preceded by measured preparation, combining observation, patience, and precision.

He never attacked impulsively; he would scrutinize every target, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. He excelled in cavalry warfare, and by combining this expertise with his tactical acumen, he was often the first to reach the front lines, leaving his adversaries little time to react.

A member of the WAK alliance and a skilled cavalry commander, Rand alThor1 was a seasoned player whose prowess was beyond question. His castle had weathered many a losing battle; his armies were unrivaled in holding the line during times of crisis and maintaining their composure at the most critical moments during the darkest hours of Kingdom 24.

But against an opponent as rigorous as Kany, the slightest inaccuracy could easily turn an attack—already thwarted by a formidable defensive front into one with an equally hopeless outcome.
⚔️ First Attack - The Breach in the Wall
Scout intelligence sent word of Rand alThor1’s position. For hours, Kany had been observing movements around the enemy castle, waiting for the right moment to commit his troops. Everything had been meticulously prepared and positioned long in advance; commanders had received their orders, formations were ready, and the cavalry awaited only the signal to advance.
Several kilometers away, Rand alThor1’s castle appeared peaceful. The ramparts remained intact, and WAK banners fluttered above the walls. Yet, this apparent calm masked a threat. As soon as the enemy’s advance was detected, sentinels raised the alarm. Gates were barred and defenders took their positions, making it clear to all that the coming assault would be exceptionally violent.
The thunder of the RRH cavalry soon rolled across the region, kicking up massive clouds of dust. Armor gleamed brilliantly in the sunlight. As the distance closed, tension mounted on both sides so much so that Kany was loath to squander the opportunity. Meanwhile, for Rand alThor, every precious second gained would help his men hold their ground.
When the two armies met, the impact was tremendous.

WAK’s front lines withstood the cavalry charge with considerable valor, bringing the opposing horsemen to a halt—though at the cost of some casualties. Soldiers' shouts quickly drowned out the clash of weapons as commanders struggled to maintain their ranks amidst the ever-mounting pressure. For a few brief, intense moments, the defenders managed to hold off the initial assault, raising hopes that the castle might successfully repel the offensive.
Yet, Kany was not seeking victory. He sought to wear his opponent down! Observing WAK reinforcing the center of the battlefield, he shifted the direction of his offensive. A detachment of his cavalry flanked the defensive line, while the rest maintained frontal pressure. Caught between two attacks, the defenders gradually began to lose their cohesion. Ranks scattered, positions fell one after another, and the walls no longer sufficed to hold back RRH’s advance.
Rand alThor1 attempted to regroup his forces to avert a rout. The last remaining cavalrymen launched a desperate counter-charge in a bid to slow Kany down. For a few moments, the outcome of the fight no longer seemed certain. Casualties were heavy on both sides, the lines grew ever tighter, and the battle inevitably became a chaotic blur.

Then, the tide turned.
Kany ordered a final push at the slightest opening a decisive breach of the enemy defenses that swept away their fiercest holdouts. In moments, the battle tipped: the surviving WAK forces fled in desperate retreat, for there was nothing left for them there but to seal their defeat within a castle already critically weakened.

Kany won with 18M losses against Rand alThor1’s 425M.
When the dust settled, the tally spoke for itself. Kany had dealt a devastating blow to Rand alThor1, whose losses were staggering: over 425 million in power vanished from WAK’s ranks, whereas RRH had lost a mere 18 million. It was more than just a victory on the battle report; it was a blow to the defenders' morale.
Yet, despite such a victory, Rand alThor1 had not lost his Lord, and his castle still stood; his remaining guards seemed to be regrouping, and the defenders still hoped to avert the worst.
Kany knew that a compromised fortress is often at its most vulnerable, and that the initial clash was merely the opening act of the confrontation.
⚔️ Second Attack - The Lord’s Last Breath
Before Kingdom 24 could regain its composure, the battle raged on around Rand alThor1’s castle. The losses from the first engagement had shaken WAK’s defenses. Units were still attempting to regroup while the wounded were evacuated behind the walls. Yet, there was no surrender; the Lord remained free, and as long as he stayed within his castle, there was hope.
Kany, however, saw no reason to let him catch his breath.
From his position, he had observed the final movements around the enemy fortress. Scouts reported battered defensive lines, with several formations yet to be reconstituted. The moment was ripe, yet fraught with danger.
A cornered defender is often the most unpredictable. They are frequently willing to risk everything to catch their adversary off guard at the last minute. Without further hesitation, Kany ordered a new offensive.
The second wave surged forward at impressive speed. The RRH cavalry returned to the plains, intent not merely on crippling the castle’s defenders, but on meeting a new challenge. They sought not only to bring down the land’s greatest power but to silence Lord Rand alThor1 and put a definitive end to the struggle against him. Upon seeing the attack, the WAK defenders instantly grasped the situation.

Their remaining available soldiers were recalled to the ramparts, and commanders hastily organized their units. Everyone knew the castle’s fate hung on this battle.
The clash came swiftly. The RRH cavalry encountered fiercer resistance than usual; the last of the WAK survivors were fighting not for their troops' freedom, but to defend their lord. Kany fought tenaciously for every meter. Spears shattered, horses fell under the blows, and the warriors' shouts drowned out the din of weaponry.
For a moment, Rand alThor1 achieved the seemingly impossible. His final efforts slowed the RRH enough to force Kany to revise his strategy a moment of hesitation in the heat of battle. If reinforcements arrived in time, the lord’s capture might still be averted.

But the respite was fleeting.
Realizing the defenders were concentrating their efforts on a single point, Kany launched a flanking maneuver with part of his cavalry. The WAK lines, already worn down by earlier losses, could not withstand this new pressure. Their battalions began to fracture, their final positions fell one by one, and a path opened to the heart of the castle.
At that moment, the lord’s defenders made their final stand. They knew their mission was no longer to win, but to delay the inevitable. They fought with exceptional courage, buying Rand alThor1 a few seconds of respite. But the charges of the RRH cavalry took precedence, and it did not last.
The gates were breached.
The last defenders fell.
Rand alThor1’s lord was eventually captured.

Kany wins: 11M lost versus 136M for Rand alThor1
Rand alThor1 loses his lord
The deepening silence weighed as heavily as the memory of the battle. Amidst the dying flames, the WAK survivors gazed at a castle that had become alien to its lord.
The resistance had been valiant, but the initial attack had inflicted wounds too deep to withstand a second assault of similar magnitude.
With only 11 million power lost compared to 136M for Rand alThor1, Kany secured another victory.
Yet, beyond the stark figures, the capture of the lord was significant. The initial objective had been achieved.
📜 Conclusion – The Silence After Capture
As the fighting died down, Kingdom 24 regained its calm—though it was a quiet that carried a different weight than before. Scars from the attacks remained all around Lord Rand alThor1’s castle; the flames, the casualties, and the lord’s capture could only be conveyed through figures numbers that fell short of telling the whole story.
Kany had orchestrated two distinct attacks, each playing a role the other could not fulfill. The first was brutal, tearing a gaping hole in Lord Rand alThor1’s defenses. The second more targeted, more dangerous, and ultimately decisive turned the impact of the initial strike into a definitive victory.
This victory signified more than just the crushing of a rival’s power; it highlighted the importance of timing, preparation, and the ability to strike at the perfect moment. Kany hadn’t simply attacked to secure a battle report; he had built a sequence, step by step, until he forced Rand alThor1 to lose his lord.
For RRH, this burnished the alliance’s image, demonstrating its ability to successfully take on the King of Kingdom 24. For WAK, it served as a reminder that no castle can remain overly exposed especially when an attacker knows how to spot a weakness and exploit it.
Rand alThor1 had put up a fight particularly during the second attack, where he tried to muster his remaining strength to protect what was left of his advantage. However, the sheer force of Kany’s assault proved overwhelming compounded by the losses sustained in the initial clash and ultimately impossible to contain.
Ultimately, the battle left a clear conclusion in its wake: Kany intervened twice, and each move brought Rand alThor1 closer to his downfall. Consider this:
The first attack breached the walls.
The second captured the lord.
And in Kingdom 24, stories like this never truly fade away. They remain etched in memory for those convinced that a breach alone isn't enough to bring down a castle.
