A new round of Champion City Siege is about to begin – join BunnyVault on this adventure!
AfV is an alliance created specifically for the Champion City Siege event. This time, an alliance called AFV—with a name strikingly similar to AfV—has unexpectedly appeared. Bunny has decided to apply to join both, just to see which one will let Bunny in!
It appears that Bunny is set to join the newly formed AFV; to make my subsequent reporting easier, I’ll refer to these two alliances by their names from now on: AfV as ‘the Winners’ alliance and AFV as the ‘Vacation’ alliance. Even though the Winners seems to have more participants, Vacation alliance also boasts a leadership team that should not be underestimated. Let’s take a quick look!
The Winners Alliance clearly has a significantly larger force; they have Pappuch leading their infantry, whilst Napoleon X appears to be planning to counter with cavalry. Astrryx’s lord is currently the Night King, so it remains unclear what his main unit type will be. In fact, many players in the Winners Alliance are capable of switching troop types at will whilst still dominating the whole map; both Napoleon X and Astrryx are powerful players of this calibre—they are the grim reapers of the battlefield.

It appears that Lord Shorty and Wartime will be the main contenders in the Vacation Alliance. Shorty opted to open with a powerful infantry formation, whilst Wartime prepared to counter with cavalry. As the countdown ended, the battle began!

The start of a CCS match is often a meat grinder of a melee, and Pappuch finally captured the main city, receiving fast reinforcement of his Winners allies. The rally leaders of the Champion City Siege are usually well acquainted with one another; players who aren’t strong enough simply cannot survive on this brutal stage,Having competed against each other for so long across various arenas, this means your main unit types have likely already been thoroughly analysed! The Vacation Alliance began mobilising its forces; clearly, they were well aware that Pappuch was an infantry-focused player. Wartime, whose main strength lay in cavalry, secured their first victory with remarkably low casualties. Such a battle report was simply too sweet to resist, so Wartime wasted no time in launching a second rally. This time, however, Pappuch made a shrewd decision: rather than needlessly feeding the Winners Alliance’s troops to us, he chose to disband his forces just as the advancing army was about to collide with them, but leaving the Champion City over to Wartime.
Caught off guard, the Vacation Alliance was unprepared to send reinforcements to defend the castle. Bunny even went so far as to check the battle report to find out exactly what had happened, only to be taken down once again by the Winners’ Astrryx, whilst its allies rushed to provide support. However, in the CCS Battle, the defending side was set to face a tough time.
As for the defending forces in a CCS Battle, no matter how formidable a lord may be, it is clearly impossible to replace the commander within the castle to counter the opponent. Another issue is that the size of the defending forces is far smaller than that of the attacking forces; even a renowned and powerful lord such as Astrryx must be prepared to face the risk of suffering heavy losses.

For the next half hour, it was nothing short of a one-man show by Lord Shorty of the Vacation Alliance. He boasts the most formidable infantry force currently in existence, and even more astonishingly, the size of his rally army has just surpassed eight million. Compared to the defenders’ force of roughly five million, his assault was unstoppable. Led by the Faceless Men Jaqen, his infantry formation carried out a brutal slaughter with every collision against the Champion City. Take a look at these astonishing battle reports!

I got like 10 battle reports like this, its surely hurts!
Occasionally, other lords do attempt to challenge Astrryx, but unless you are on a par with Lord Shorty, it is very difficult to overcome the fortress of Astrryx.

The defending side in a CCS Battle faces another disadvantage: when subjected to repeated attacks, the defending forces will sooner or later find themselves short of troops, When the defenders are unable to field suitable units to their rally leaders, Astrryx’s line-up includes the most powerful spearman commanders, such as Euron and GreyWorm. However, after being repeatedly battered by these rallies, the Winners’ allies could only barely field infantry or cavalry in the later stages. Without suitable reinforcements, they would be unable to withstand even an attack from commanders they normally have the upper hand against.

Its gonna be a waste while the reinforcement doesn't fit the commanders on the wall.

Even Cavs can smash them while no spears troops inside the castle.

After Astrryx had successfully held the city for over half the time, it seemed he had no intention of continuing to defend it at all costs, so Lord Shorty managed to capture the main city. With the tables now turned, it was the Vacation Alliance’s turn to go on the defensive. However powerful Shorty might be, he was still unable to hold his ground against top-tier cavalry such as Napoleon X or HankHill. However, the formidable Shorty, leading a force of top-tier infantry, still managed to secure many stunning victories. Through the refinement of legendary weapons and the collection of unit skins, he even succeeded in repelling several cavalry assaults.

It was truly a remarkable victory; even though the defending forces were outnumbered, Shorty still managed to deal a successful blow.

I can’t even begin to explain how we managed to win in those circumstances; all I can say is that Shorty took every anti-counter skin and weapon refinement to the absolute limit.

However, when faced with the best of best, there is still a chance of being wiped out completely.
With Lord Shorty having secured enough time to guarantee his second place in the rankings, he handed the defences over to Napoleon X; in the remaining ten minutes, Wartime will lead us on a joyful rampage.

Let’s recap what we discussed earlier: the key challenges faced by the defending side in a CCS Battle:
1. The defensive formation has been fully figured out
2. The defending team is vastly outnumbered by the attacking side
3. Reinforcements from allies do not meet requirements
We have once again seen these difficulties confirmed by some astonishing battle reports—what a heroic struggle...
With this round of the Champion City Siege finally over, Bunny felt he’d made the right choice this time. With an excellent kill-to-death ratio, he earned a large number of badges and merits, and is already looking forward to the next event~
