After starting the Season 23 on the right foot with a decisive win against [GJs] and the being waken up to reality by [RRH] in the round 2, [N0X] is now 1 win 1 loss on the record and if they want to maintain any chance to qualify for the Ultimate Conquest, they have to win in the round 3 no matter what, and not only win but win by the largest number of points possible if they want to offset the points they lost in the 2nd round. Despite not seeing any very strong alliances around them in points ranking, you know how it is in Alliance Conquest, some alliances change their fighting time so [N0X] leadership prepared the most aggressive strategy they ever did for the upcoming round thinking it's a go big or go home moment. Once the strategy was completed and sent to the warriors in alliance, it was time for Scythe to register the alliance for the upcoming round and then everyone waited on their toes for the midnight to see whom they'd fight against.

And the Old Gods decided to be merciful with [N0X] this time and give them an opponent that at least on papers wasn't looking as strong as [N0X] in neither alliance power nor alliance score.

Despite that, they had quite a few strong warriors on their roster and they managed to win their first 2 rounds against superior opponents so [N0X] decided to treat them as an equal enemy and prepare to their best capabilities for the fight. The match day passed quickly while being busy with the preparations and before they knew it was already dark outside and the time for them to head to the Alliance Conquest battlefield. They arrived there just in time as the battlefield doors opened and warriors from both alliances started entering the battlefield and it was looking from the get going that [N0X] are having a quite big number advantage.

With just a few minutes before the start of the fight, the numbers were showing 91 warriors for [N0X] and only 61 warriors for [KIK], and those were good news for [N0X] as they might have an easy time for once, but they'd still have to win all the races to score the maximum points in order for them to get the maximum points so the stakes were high and everyone was locking in.

The fight started great for [N0X] the racers were on point, and they managed to secure all the 4 buildings with GrogU, Belore II, Crystal and LordofHunger. But now the hard part was coming, swapping 4 buildings in a stretch of under a minute: the first in line was the Targaryen Outpost where Crystal left her place to Ser Enki.

Then it was time for the Tower of the Warrior to be swapped and GrogU passed the leadership to LordStrandii

And finally, it was Belore II who abandoned the Lannister Outpost in favor of DYW

With having to swap so many buildings so quickly, [N0X] did a slight mistake and didn't swap or reinforce LordofHunger in Temple of Mother and [KIK] strangest people were right there to capitalize that mistake.

Losing any building was very bad news for [N0X] as they needed the max possible points and with [KIK] only having 61 warriors on the battlefield the points they would give from their personal castles wouldn't be very high, so the points provided by the buildings were even more important in this situation. Once the bubble dropped on temple, a wave of rallies was immediately called and [N0X] assembled 17 rallies while [KIK[ prepared a few of their own on the Lannister Outpost.

As soon as the rallies were launched, they were sped up in hopes to take the enemy by surprise and recover the temple as quickly as possible.

Despite losing a few of the rallies, [N0X] had so many it was impossible for [KIK] to reinforce in time and the temple fell into [N0X] hands. That was like a breaking point for [KIK] as seeing how determined [N0X] were to get all the buildings and a victory at a high score it made them conserve their speedups and healings so when the ports opened [N0X] had no problem taking them with GrogU and Kryptic MIND.

With very little opposition from [KIK] the swaps went flawlessly and VERGO and Belore II took the lead on ports.

[KIK] decided to do some rallies on the Lannister Port hold by VERGO, and they had a little success managing to kick some of the reinforcements out, but their rallies were too few to do anything important so [N0X] got to keep the port. It was now time for the Casterly Rock to open and once again all the racers and the rally lead this time were ready to go.

Kryptic MIND was once again the fastest probably he had the newest model of flip flops and then [N0X] proceeded to swap Balrum in to secure the Casterly Rock. [KIK] kept trying to rally the buildings but will little to no success so it was down to the mines for them to try and get some points. Unfortunately for them, with their hive decimated by attacks they had no chance to race for the mines and both of them fell into [N0X] hands.

The battlefield was all blue, [N0X] managed to hold all buildings and nothing changed till the end of the round.

Excellent result for [N0X], they managed to get above 120.000 points, and they secured the maximum number of ranking points available. While it was mostly a race against themselves, everyone played greatly and it was a good practice round ahead of the next 3 rounds that won't be so easy for sure. Will they manage to win the next rounds too and qualify for the Ultimate Conquest once again or they'll fall a bit short? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
