A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 118 (Alliance Conquest S23, round 3)

After a few days, the great plains once again began to feel deeply restless, the sky was already filled with gray clouds as if a torrential rain were about to fall, but no… meanwhile, the cold wind made the grass of the vast plains sway endlessly.
Further ahead stood the great camp of the HHH alliance, where our Lord returned together with his friends from the Arena of Honor. The atmosphere was tense, as the leaders had begun pressuring all of their members, since a great battle against another powerful alliance was approaching for the ongoing event in which everyone was participating, known as “Alliance Conquest (AC).”
With strict determination and great intensity, they called their members to gather before the battle. It was no longer a place of laughter, but a place of debates and strategic planning, where it had already become necessary to decide how and against which enemies they should prioritize on the battlefield in order to achieve a better result.
“For the next battle, we need all of you fully attentive, alert at every step we take forward, because things are becoming more complicated, and we will face increasingly stronger enemies. We need everyone’s support!”; These were the words loudly proclaimed by the alliance leaders.
The battle they would now face would be against an alliance called A0T (AngelsOfThorns), a formidable alliance that had apparently recently received support from external Lords so they could qualify, or at least that was the information coming from the spies.

They quickly positioned themselves on the battlefield, and most of them, of course, carried area castles, which were mainly used to provide mutual support among allies through a percentage bonus to their overall statistics.

Our Lord tried to position himself together with his friends so that he could also receive their bonuses, and likewise provide support to them with his own castle, already fully prepared for battle.

On the lower side stood the great alliance of A0T, with a considerable number of members prepared for battle, although unlike HHH, they did not bring many castles with rank bonuses. However, the strength of their rally leaders was evident; they were powerful.
Perhaps that was where the logic behind their victories began to make sense, because despite not having so many members, they had defeated previous alliances that possessed a much greater number of Lords. They would need to be careful and not become overconfident against them.
Now the battle would begin, where the speed of the rally leaders would first stand out, as they raced to capture the castles before the enemy rally leaders could do so.

Where, with astonishing speed, the alliance leaders of HHH would stand out, as they captured the cities and positioned themselves like stones standing firm against a sea of waves.
Because of this, the defenses of those cities quickly became solidified, and under the great pressure placed upon the Lords, the reinforcements sent to the castles whenever they were attacked were simply incredibly fast.

The reinforcing strength was powerful. The enemies came to strike the castles of our allies, and surprisingly, among them would be our friend named AmaiAmai, who would receive a dangerous series of rally attacks against him.
The concern among everyone was immense, as they continued sending their troops, but on the battlefield, our friend handled himself extremely well with the troops that had been sent. With a majority of Tier 5 troops inside his castle, he successfully managed to defend against every single assault.

And so there would be many other attacks as well. The A0T alliance never stopped sending assaults; they always launched coordinated attacks against one specific stronghold at a time. While those battles were taking place, the carelessness of HHH became significant.
“There are too many attacks for us to focus on all of them at once, I have to try to capture a castle in order to help…” our Lord thought.
The enemies of A0T had taken control of the central fortress, and the truce lasted for a long time, so they had to wait before they could attack it. Every minute became more desperate, because they needed the points from those structures in order to qualify, they needed those points…

No one knew what type of Lord he was or what formation he carried with him, but our Lord also wanted to participate. The strategy of HHH for capturing castles was not to immediately organize rallies first, or well, it depended on who the enemy was, but normally, whenever they tried to take a castle, instead of investigating first… they launched reckless attacks without hesitation, and only afterward, if there were no results, would they launch rallies to capture the castle.

Our Lord would launch attacks in that very same manner, obtaining results far better than he had expected, especially since lately he had been having terrible luck with the attacks he normally launched against the enemy.
And that was taking into account that the enemy carried a Spearmen formation, but the reinforcements were not the proper ones needed to defend the castle from the attacks.

And once again, the attacks kept coming with increasing force, although some of them were organized with the intention of hiding troops, since assaults had already begun directly against the castles themselves.
The leaders of the A0T alliance were ruthless; instead of hiding their troops, they sent them forward relentlessly. They were not weak at all, and it became difficult to hold the central castle and the other structures, because they were being attacked constantly.

Our Lord also attacked those castles alone in order to obtain better points; however, HHH was already securing its points for the next phase, as they had a great portion of the battle under their control.
Our Lord remained calm, but he was suffering losses among the reinforcement troops. Supporting the alliance was becoming increasingly difficult because it required a massive expenditure of speed-ups, both for healing troops and for accelerating attack marches.
Now the battles would increasingly become wars of attrition until they reached the higher-tier fights…
HHH claimed victory in this battle purely through point accumulation, since they did not lose many castles and did not hesitate against the A0T alliance, but now the question remained of what powerful enemy would come next.
Above all, it was a concern for the leaders, wondering what strategy they would now choose to take.

As a Result;
HHH would claim victory, and now they would possess a considerable amount of points on the tournament leaderboard that was taking place, but this also cast shadows of new enemies that would soon appear.
Our Lord would now be worried about the upcoming battles, because this was leading to an enormous expenditure of his resources for battle, and he would now have to begin planning how he would manage his resources for future fights.
As a Recommendation;
It is always good to know how to properly manage your resources during alliance battles, both when reinforcing troops and when launching attacks against enemies. Excessive amounts of speed-ups are spent in order to reduce march times, and now there are also the speed-ups used for healing troops, which also become a massive expense. The best thing is to know how to manage everything while taking into account the capture of the Mother’s Temple, which reduces the amount of acceleration needed by half, and also to determine whether you can send solo attack marches or simply continue reinforcing, in order to reduce your expenses during battle.
That would be all for this week!
Until next time!
