sXO x WJB | Alliance Conquest | Season 23 - Round 1

Hi everyone. After a long wait, the new season of Alliance Conquest has finally begun. This is a very delicate and complex moment, where every alliance prepares its troops, recruits new players, and increases its offensive power in pursuit of a single goal: the championship. On one side, new alliances filled with rising stars arrive ready to dominate the top of the rankings, while on the other, old rivalries with unfinished business will have another chance to prove who truly rules the battlefield. This season will be filled with surprises and intense matches from beginning to end.

While the great alliances fight in the Super League, a promising force appears in the A League. An alliance filled with talented players and guided by experienced leadership, sXO makes its debut in the A League after an impeccable and victorious season in the B League. Seeking their second consecutive title, sXO has a great challenge ahead: the WJB Alliance, a team with more than five years of experience that also has a victorious history. Both teams promise to give everything they have on the battlefield. And the expectation is an intense match throughout the full 60 minutes.

I was one of the racers trying to capture the Temple of the Mother. Each player had their role in that match, and every troop was essential to capture and hold each building. And after 30 minutes of the preparation phase, the gates opened, and the match began.

The match had started, and the four starting buildings had dropped their bubbles. We had good racers, but none of them were fast enough to capture any of the buildings, giving WJB the first capture points and the advantage in the opening moments of the match. We knew that things change quickly in a match at that level, so we immediately started preparing our strategy. In less than a minute, all the buildings would lose their bubbles, so we planned to try solo attacks first, and if that was not possible, we would organize rallies.

As soon as the protection bubble dropped, seven solo attacks were launched. For a moment, I thought it would not be possible to capture it, since 25 reinforcements were protecting that building, and Valon, who was defending the building, was very strong and had a solid defense. But luck was on our side. After six attacks, the reinforcements dropped to fewer than six, and Zarachielʼs attack captured the building.

Zrachiel is one of the strongest players in our alliance. We knew that if they sent all 25 reinforcements to him, it would be practically impossible to defeat him. So from that moment on, we left that building aside and focused our attention on recapturing the other buildings.

Our second focus was the Temple of the Mother, which is very important because capturing it gives a healing speed buff to all alliance members during the match. First, we tested bow, spear, and infantry rallies at the same time, but it did not work. After that, they fully reinforced the building before we could do anything, but we had to try again. On the second attempt, besides the rallies and knowing the rallies would be enough to eliminate at least 20 reinforcements, three players, including Win05, NikaTime, and Sanscrainte, prepared solo attacks to land right after the rallies hit, and that was enough to capture the building.

Capturing and holding that building was one of the most important points of the match. And as soon as we sent our reinforcements, WJB launched several rallies, but we were ready to reinforce every unit lost. In total, four recapture attempts were made, and our incredible team kept reinforcements above 20, forcing them to give up on that building.

On paper, WJB seemed much stronger and more organized than us. But when we lost buildings, we had no difficulty recapturing them. That match was much easier than we expected it to be. And WJB did not know what to do. Several rallies were opened and launched, but the speed and quality of our reinforcements made all the difference. In the end, our organization and response speed were winning the match.

We were in a comfortable position and had opened a good lead in the score. Casterly Rock was not available yet, nor were the mines. Because of that, we needed to stay alert to every single rally. We knew the strength of our leaders, but we also understood that a small mistake could cost control of a building, and even the outcome of a match.

When Casterly Rock opened and one of our racers secured the capture, WJB had no choice but to give up on that match. Any effort to retake control and still go for the win would be pointless and would only force them to spend thousands of speedup days to heal their troops. The result was irreversible, even before the two mines opened.

The match that began with tension and uncertainty ended up becoming a true massacre. Our numerical advantage was so large that even our weaker players were able to hold buildings due to the quality and speed of our reinforcements.

Starting the season with a big victory over a strong alliance is a very important first step for a team aiming to become champion. And after that match, the morale of all players definitely went up. Now our goal is to maintain the strategy and wait for the next opponent. Thank you for watching.
