HOH vs KIK | Siege of Winterfell | Round 4 |

The fourth round of Siege of Winterfell was finally among us.

A few days after the battle for the Super Mine fought by Neik, where the HOH member managed to obtain part of the coveted resources that would have helped him increase the stats of his troops, today, alongside Ferrious and his alliance companions, he found himself lined up in formation to take part in an intense clash in the second part of the SOW season, which saw them so far with a record of one loss followed by two victories.

“Today will be decisive” said the latter while waiting to find out who their opponents would be. The importance of getting a win in the upcoming match was recognized by all of them, with it they would find themselves breathing down the neck of the rival alliances firmly holding the top 12 that would qualify for the playoffs of the competition where HOH also aimed to be.

Fuji, Дядя Скрудж and Чудик were just some of the names that made up KIK, today’s opponent! The mysterious alliance came into this match certainly without the favor of the predictions, but they should not be underestimated: they had managed to win the same number of clashes as Neik and his companions and this showed the great commitment of the individual members who, if taken lightly, could undoubtedly cause many problems to their rivals.

“Let’s fight united and by following the orders of the group leaders they will hardly be able to keep our pace” reminded the members of HOH leadership to their companions. The superiority on paper was a factor to take into consideration and to exploit if possible without getting dragged into ambushes by their rivals.

The battle was about to begin. The battlefield, muddy due to the incessant rains that were falling over the seven kingdoms, would certainly represent another enemy for both factions. The cold day by day was becoming less sharp, winter seemed to be coming to an end with the sun rays warming the armor of the deployed warriors.

The final preparations were completed and the fighters were only waiting for the fateful moment…

Start SOW4

The start of the match saw an approach far from defensive by the group Neik was part of.

Confident in their means, instead of heading towards HotSprings to help their faction contest it, they decided to immediately aim for Greyjoy2 Stronghold in an attempt to block the path of their rivals who suddenly found themselves targeted out of nowhere.

The tactic adopted by HOH was certainly paying off.

The rivals of KIK found themselves fighting in the stronghold as well as in HotSprings, but in both the numerical superiority of Neik and his companions was overwhelming.

The capture of the first two objectives of crucial importance for the overall outcome of the match, which granted very important buffs, was a consequence for HOH.

“An excellent job in advancing from the very first moments” said Neik congratulating the group leaders’ decision to apply such strategy.

Taking advantage of the favorable momentum of the match after catching their rivals unprepared with such a strong start, the group leaders of HOH called for a siege up to the outposts near the enemy base. With KIK members still trying to reorganize their forces near them, they immediately found themselves surrounded by hordes of troops arriving from multiple fronts following the capture of Armory and HotSprings.

The battle there was anything but a success for them, forced to retreat inside their own base.

“Let’s keep targeting them by closing the roads leading near the dragons that will be available in the next seconds!” said spimmer pushing his allies forward. The battle had started in the best possible way for them and Neik and his companions were being carried by enthusiasm!

As the troops and minutes went by, the attempts of KIK members to face those of HOH decreased more and more!

The difference in strength between the two alliances and the troops available was significant and the morale due to the match going clearly in favor of Neik and his companions was doing the rest.

Despite this, some small groups trying to rely on their speed managed to avoid the enemy frontline, but were immediately caught by the extremely fast Spears of HOH fighters.

It was in fact a match far from balanced, with the battlefield completely dominated by HOH who were playing a flawless match.

Neik, seeing the situation near the enemy base under control, moved to support escorting the dragons to his base in case of unexpected ambushes from the rivals. Even though victory for them today was only a mirage, the precious chests that would scatter across the battlefield with the dragons could still be attacked by the rivals: a secondary objective but not a trivial one.

As expected, there was no attempt to block the path by the rivals, but…

When the chests became available, the members of KIK, with unexpected speed, threw themselves onto them to at least try to get something good out of this match, the small rival groups formed during the assault could certainly put serious trouble if faced in numerical disadvantage, HOH fighters had to pay attention!

The attempt of KIK members paid off, the rival alliance managed to capture a good number of chests thanks to the great speed of their members who were waiting for this moment. Defeat seemed inevitable for them, but they still managed to get something good out of today’s match with rewards that would be spread among their members.

After that, however, the rival troops came crashing down on them, including Neik’s Spears with great force. The clash with the Inf he encountered saw him at a disadvantage in the first phase due to numerical inferiority and the counter favorable to the opponent, but when reinforcements arrived to support him like Ferrious’ troops, the battle became one-sided! The rival armies were overwhelmed with such crushing force that they could do nothing but retreat inside their base.

“Thanks for the support” said Neik to the ally who replied “With part of the chests already taken by the rivals it was not a great idea to throw yourself alone against their troops, next time it will be better to wait for reinforcements!” said Ferrious proving to be wiser than her ally who against a stronger opponent could have been seriously injured.

The surrender of the rivals was in fact clear.

Despite repeated attempts in the early phase of the match, KIK members immediately understood they did not have many chances to turn the outcome in their favor. The difference in members, 86 against 43, was a sign of how things would go from the start where HOH dominated far and wide as long as the rivals had the will to play their cards, a will that faded as minutes passed. The rivals then decided to wait for the natural end of the clash, saving their strength for future matches.

At the end of the 60 minutes, the victory went to… HOH!

The best fighters of the match were:

light Yagami. Joined HOH ranks in search of an exciting match that would help him climb the overall elimination ranking, he found himself fighting in a match already decided from the start.

Чудик. The KIK member was, as expected, the most awaited and feared and made life hard for his rivals in one-on-one fights, but his strength could not contain multiple targets coming from different fronts, despite this he fought until the end earning the first place in the elimination ranking of the match, a good result for him overall.

“We expected a match against a different opponent, but today we were lucky” said the leadership members at the end of the clash “This victory puts us in a high position getting closer to the top 12 alliances of the seven kingdoms, and if we win the last two matches, we will certainly qualify for the playoffs, see you on the battlefield of the fifth round!” was the continuation of the message encouraging their allies before returning to their kingdoms.

The message was well received by Neik who understood the importance of the fifth and sixth round, he definitely wanted to qualify for the final stage of the competition to face very high level opponents and prove his strength, he would certainly be in the best condition.

Three victories and one loss was the result collected so far by HOH. An insidious fifth match was on the horizon just a few days away, would they be able to continue the winning streak or was a sudden stop around the corner? We will find out together!
