Welcome Lords and Ladies to the fourth round of Arena of Honor in our fifth season, we have one of our crowd favorites returning but can he finally end his run of second place finishes or will he suffer another setback. Tonight, Moshow2 returns with finally reaching the Lord rank last match, he aims to catch the combatants who sit in the top 100. Will Moshow2 finally get a win under his belt and can he catch the combatants who occupy the top 100 with over 10 matches still remaining in the season.

Moshow2 saw a pattern in all his defeats, “the Glory City is the main problem, we need a strategy to win even if we don’t get the Glory City,” Moshow2 could only see one way to get the win without capturing the Glory City. “Trading Posts with as many Altars of the Maiden as possible, that is the only way if we fail to capture the Glory City,” Moshow2 didn’t want another second-place finish and the Glory City was the only thing getting in his way.

Tyenne Saand looked at Moshow2’s desperation and knew he had to help, “I agree Altars of the Maiden can get us enough points to overcome even the Glory City but our main objective should be either obtaining it or resetting it over the match period,” Tyenne Saand knew Moshow2’s plan could only work if their opponents mostly made offensive strongholds leaving the Altars of the Maiden free for the taking.
As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins.

Finally, the teams entered the arena and House Lannister seemed confident, “House Targaryen could be a problem but not one we can’t overcome, I would stick to Moshow2’s plan and hope the other’s make offensive strongholds,” Tyenne Saand saw merit in his plan but could still see the worry in his eyes. As the strongholds opened it was House Targaryen and House Stark with House Tyrell who made offensive strongholds, the rest made a mixture of Trading Posts and offensive strongholds. “Trading Posts make us susceptible to offensive strongholds, our clan castle could be at risk,” Moshow2 looked around as Cossomo raised his hand and offered to occupy their clan castle without hesitation.

House Stark was led by the cunning alpha51, “House Tyrell and House Targaryen went with the same strategy, we will make spearmen strongholds to counter their cavalry ones but we may miss out on the first capture points of the Watch Tower,” alpha51 was looking at long term benefits instead of the immediate.

Finally, we have House Targaryen led by the valiant PateMoreland, “there are no strong infantry warriors on the battlefield, our spearmen will cut through everything in the Glory City,” PateMoreland saw a path to victory but he didn’t notice House Starks spearmen change.
As the first fifteen minutes passed by, it was House Targaryen and House Tyrell who took a Watch Tower each, unfortunately for House Stark their spearmen strongholds were stopped at their Watch Tower by the infantry garrison. “This was part of the plan, once our opponents take the Watch Towers we will take it from them,” PateMoreland saw his team were in fifth place but he wasn’t worried at all.

The fight for the altars had begun and it was House Lannister who started their besiegement on the Altars of the Maiden around the battlefield, “House Tyrell are next to us and seem to be an easy target, make sure their altars are ours,” Moshow2 knew the important of obtaining points immediately, he wanted enough points to counter act the Glory City but will his plan be enough in the end? As the altar fights raged on the Dragonpits became available and caused House Lannister to change their focus, “we can’t allow House Targaryen to capture multiple Dragonpits, we must focus the Dragonpit they chose to take while harassing their altars, always keeping them off balance,” Moshow2 kept driving home the need to keep House Targaryen over stretched, he knew they were the main threat. In the end House Lannister captured two Dragonpits with House Targaryen taking one for themselves, “that was a tough few minutes for us, we remain in third place but we won’t remain there for long,” PateMoreland could see his team were losing Watch Towers to House Stark but they were only 3k points behind House Lannister who were in second place.

The Glory City opened its doors and it was House Targaryen who rushed to take control with their spearmen warrior, “we just need reinforcements, there are no strong infantry warriors to worry about, it we play it smart we should have control of the Glory City soon,” PateMoreland saw House Lannister was now in the lead with House Stark in second place and wanted to rectify what he believed to be a mistake. “We have a lack of troops, we are the team who are overextended around the battlefield, the defence of so many altars is becoming a weakness,” Tyenne Saand saw House Lannister send a half empty rally towards the Glory City and knew something went horribly wrong. As House Targaryen successfully defended rallies from both House Lannister and House Stark respectively, the leaderboard was about to change but would House Targaryen gain enough points to take the lead or did Moshow2’s plan come to fruition?

The fight for the Glory City was over for now and a huge sigh of relief hit House Lannister, “we are 2k points in the lead even with the loss of the Glory City, the Mineshafts will decide this match,” Tyenne Saand realised his team needed to hang on for the next 12 minutes that remained in the match. “We can’t catch the other two teams anymore unless we take the Glory City, hold off on the Mineshafts and focus all energy when the Glory City becomes available again,” alpha51 saw the writing on the wall but there still remained one last chance. “House Tyrell are becoming a problem, they keep attacking our Mineshafts, looks like House Stark have decided to throw in the towel,” Tyenne Saand kept his eye on the battlefield, looking at every move, he knew the next few minutes would be crucial to remaining in first place. Will Tyenne Saand and House Lannister be able to defend their lead or has House Tyrell become the thorn in their side?

It came all down to the final moments of the match, House Lannister against House Targaryen for the Mineshafts, “here they come, House Stark is still rallying the Glory City, that may save us in the end,” Moshow2 was looking at the time remaining as sweat ran down his face, this would be his first win of the season but House Targaryen had other plans. “They are 5k points ahead of us, we need to take Mineshafts away from them or risk staying in second place, House Stark seems to be helping House Lannister, we are being battered from both sides,” PateMoreland couldn’t understand why House Stark was forcing them to keep troops inside the Glory City but the loss of these troops would be crucial in the end. The final two minutes would be a flurry of solo attacks from House Targaryen trying to remove House Lannister from their Mineshafts but the damage was done, “we managed to keep our Mineshafts for long enough they are nearly empty now,” Tyenne Saand saw tears of joy coming from the face of Moshow2, the lead for House Lannister was now 9k and growing and Moshow2 had finally managed to secure a win in the Arena of Honor.

The final minute ticked away and House Lannister celebrated a hard-fought win, “this strategy works, I no longer need to rely on the Glory City but things did fall into place for us,” Moshow2 acknowledged the stars aligned for his team but it’s possible to replicate this strategy in the future. “We were 12k points ahead in the end, the Mineshafts were the key,” Tyenne Saand also celebrated his first win of the season but the Glory King rank was far from obtained.
On the other hand, House Targaryen were sad to only come away with second place, “we gained more fame points than House Lannister but didn’t get the win, they had too many Altars of the Maiden providing them points,” PateMoreland knew the mistake came in the first 30 minutes of the match, he should have fought harder for each altar but he won’t make the same mistake again.
Lords and Ladies, you won’t get this kind of entertainment anywhere else, don’t forget to tell one and all and join us again for the next round of Arena of Honor!
