Arena Of Honor.
Season 05 round 5

The last few days have been quiet and my army has been resting. It's time to change that and use the two coupons I've saved up. So I decided to choose an additional time slot for battle. Until now, I've always played in the evening and have never been in first place this season. Maybe this will be a lucky choice 😊
The lords slept longer today, so I realized that there were only 10 minutes left until the end of registration. A quick search for a team. I think to myself that it won't be so easy because most teams are already ready. There are 5 minutes left and I find a team full of 7FD players and wonder if they will accept me? 3 minutes to go, I confirm my readiness and we are registered. We did it 😊
Quickly setting up the army, checking that everything is in place, and we enter the map. Today, we have a mix of players as our opponents:
Reds: 6 players from IlI, such as NICK71, Opa198, Lord Adler, and others
Purple: [RRH]Ramarkky, [HD!] Thor Ride. [Apo] BlackFire and others
While the purple team doesn't look like a well-coordinated team, the red team can be a threat if as many as 6 people are from the same alliance. I hope it will work out better for us, though, because 7 people are from 7FD, so we have the advantage 😊
Let's fight
We start with a quick meeting and everyone has their role. I'm surprised at how smoothly everything is going. But this is just the beginning, and I know from experience that the longer the fight lasts, the less interest there is. We'll see how it goes this time.
A quick attack on the camps and immediate support. It looks good and I like what's happening. Everything is coordinated but also calm.
The first attempt to attack the NPC castle fails, unfortunately. This happens often, so I'm not worried yet. Morale is high and everyone is ready to fight.
All factions are going evenly, so nothing is certain yet. After the second attack, no one is taking the NPC castle. There is still time, so I'm not worried, and the rest is going very well. The first line of camps is secured at level 3 and we are already occupying the second line. Support is speeding up the expansion and it looks promising.
We have our first small victory. We take one tower and take the lead. These are always valuable points at the beginning, which encourage us to fight.
We've got it! Only after 5 or 6 attacks do we take the first castle from the NPC, followed immediately by the second in the next wave. What a victory. It was a really quick action. We are the only ones with 2 castles and two towers. I really didn't expect such a quick action. While it took a few rounds before anything happened, things have accelerated a lot. A complete surprise on my part. Is this a lucky hour for me? So far, it looks like it.
To sum up, suddenly, after two waves, we have two NPC castles and two towers. Our opponents don't take anything yet at this time and fall behind. Thanks to this, we earn the Peerless Dominator badge. I'm delighted. Now we have to maintain this, and even if we don't manage to capture the City of Glory, there's a chance for first place.

We have it.
Our dominance continues. The opponent seems to be playing quite passively. 7FD plays very tactically and knows what they are doing. At this time, I focus on securing more elements on the map. After capturing the NPC castles, there is work to be done. I focus on the NPC camps and start taking them over one by one. First the level 3 ones, then the weaker ones. We control more and more buildings, but it's getting harder and harder. It's not that simple. In addition to our own backyard, we have to focus on two others. I can see that the 7FD players are doing great, so I focus more on tactics than combat and just support them with my army when needed.
The minutes are passing and we have almost as many points as the other two factions.

The advantage is growing. Our control of the map is good, but with this number of buildings, it's not easy. I'm doing my best and running from building to building. It's getting a little nerve-wracking, or at least I think so because it's pretty quiet in the group chat. They're definitely sitting together on Discord because they have good teamwork. I'm trying to help them as much as I can.
Most of the important NPC buildings have already been taken over.
We are starting the battle for the City of Glory. I was nervous earlier, but looking at the map, I am calmer now. Even if the opponent takes the main castle, our advantage and passive points will allow us to continue to control the game.
Looking at this match, I am no longer surprised at how easily we are taking over the City of Glory. Everything is working today. A quick attack and then quick support. That's how it should be. We earn our second Supreme Conqueror badge. Now we have to hold on to it, although I don't know if the opponent has already given up and all that's left is the fight for 2nd place.
At this stage, not much was happening. There were a few attacks on the main building, but we were too strong.

In addition, our control of the map was significant and our advantage grew with every minute. Our opponents tried to recapture the dragon posts and succeeded, but it didn't matter anymore.

Summary
A complete surprise. I didn't plan to play this game at this time of day, and it brought us first place this season. I am very happy.
Tactics were the most important thing in this game. There wasn't much fighting. The opponent wasn't that challenging this time, but even if the fight was for City of Glory or if we hadn't captured that building, we would still have taken first place. I hope I'll have a few more games like this this season.
And thanks to that, I achieved the title of lord, which will improve my statistics a little.
